Anyone else had experienced this?

I wondered if anyone else had experienced this:-

I was woken in the early hours this morning by a painfully bright white light in my eyes. It was so bright it hurt and i was startled out of my sleep. It took me a while to drift back off and just lay in bed remembering that i had been dreaming but could not remember what about. Just then the bedroom door (which was open at the time) moved (it squeaked...as it does when pushing it) i looked around no one there. there were no drafts that could have caused it to move.

I spoke to my hubby in the morning and said i had a really weird experience, i was just about to tell him about the bright white light and he said... yes me too... who moved the bedroom door, i heard it.

I mainly wondered what the bright light was. But now im wondering if the two are connected.

Any thoughts? x

I *just* had an experience like this while meditating, minus the door. I'm not sure, but the presence felt very benevolent and helpful. It didn't feel menacing or negative in the least. It's been suggested that mine was Jesus or another being of light that is a helping spirit. Do you remember how it felt?

To be honest i cannot remember what i felt like afterwards ... but i dont recall being frightened in any way i was more startled than anything. I remember the light came at speed towards my eyes and it was painful and hurt my eyes, thats what woke me up.

Strange really, but for some reason i cannot stop thinking about it. x

Bright light in the setting you describe usually depicts an encounter with extraterrestrials - either that or you are loosing it but since someone else had this, your sanity is not as much in question, had you been alone......

An encounter with extraterrestrials?

Thats something i dont want to particularly experience. I know i was dreaming at the time and my eyes were firmly shut. however i was definitely awake when i / we heard the door.

As for losing the plot, i know you were joking but it worries me. Seriously... and i have questioned it a few times sometimes since a few things started to happen. and the sad thing is I know the stigma attached to mediums and spirituality or anything out of the ordinary and i would never discuss my involvement in any way with my friends.
So in reality i have to slip off to the spiritualist workshop twice a week where i feel safe to talk and try out new things and try and confirm somehow im not mad

Oh i knew there was something else, it may be a complete coincidence, but since but since August this year when things started to happen to me. The following has happened:-

My washing machine blew up
My dishwasher stopped working
so did my oven
So did my hoover
so did my Tv box
my glasses broke into 3 pieces in my hands

nothing is wrong with the electrics, they have been checked and im £1500 out of pocket!! to top it all my new washing machine stopped working last week. The main brain has gone apparently. Something the engineer has never come across!

A run of serious bad luck, or strange goings on?

Don't worry. I was joking. I am no expert in spiritual matters and hountings so I won't comment more. ET's are not that scary but now when I think of it again it maybe it was something else.

Yes, I experienced it too. Last Week.
I was sound asleep and was awoken by
a bright light. I woke up to see it moving
away from my bed and going toward the
skylight. Where it stayed and then faded. It was quite wide and large. It was Not a
flashlight or a helicopter or something like that. Was not scarey at all really. But kind of funny. Something different.

Want to add I have not had anything happen
to appliances. I wonder if A) they were bought at all the same time? or B) If they
have alot of computer panels in them?
