Hello, This is my first post. About 3 years ago I was under a lot of stress and for some reason I decided to try playing blackjack. As I played, I noticed that I would feel the sensation of heat in the right side of my head about two inches above my ear and on rare occasions I would feel the sensation of leaning to the right. Whenever that happened I knew that I was going to win so I raised my bet. One day while I was playing, I got real dizzy and was able to predict every win, loss, and push through three consecutive 6-deck shoes with 100% accuracy. While I was dizzy, the only thing that I was aware of was the numbers on the cards in front of me and the outcome of the next (future) hand. The dizziness only happened that one day and never again. I was able to turn $200 into $20,000 in one month playing blackjack. I only had the heat/leaning sensation for about a month and a half. When the sensation disappeared I also started losing at blackjack. I would like to know what happened to me and is it something that I can get back or is it possibly gone forever? I don't believe it was just a lucky streak because it felt too real. What is the name for what I experienced? Are there mental exercises that apply? Thank You |

Welcome, rivers! Glad you're here on the forums! What you experienced is a form of clairsentience, or clear feeling. You got intuitive information as a physical sensation in your body, which you were able to figure out. If there's a more technical term for how it presented itself to you, I'm not familiar with it. In general, experiences where you get a big, intuitive lucky streak are a way for you to wake up into your intuition, but they don't tend to stick around, especially if "easy" money is involved, such as gambling or lotto numbers. It's simply not how it tends to work. You can look at it like your intuitive alarm clock went off. The experience is profound enough to give you a taste of what happens in your life (not just your finances) when you listen to your intuition, but in general, the intuition doesn't tend to keep letting you amass large sums of cash simply because you've figured out how your intuition speaks to you. There's almost always a next step for development. This is about more than financial gain, this is about your growth and development as a spirit. All of that being said, it does seem that there is a physiological reaction to bets that are made. When something is bet, the internal body seems to know, before proof or the mind, what the outcome will be. I'm not sure of how to tap into this, but I will refer you to the research study I'm familiar with, and you can take a look at it yourself. The research study is called "Nonlocal Intuition in Entrepreneurs and Non-entrepreneurs: An Experimental Comparison Using Electrophysiological Measures" and a download of it can be found at de-stress, stress survey, well-being, stress solutions, lower stress, stress management tools, Institute of HeartMath. Hope this helps! Erin-Ashley |

Thank you very much, Erin. That was exactly the kind of good solid info that I have been looking for. Here is a direct link to the paper: http://www.swinburne.edu.au/lib/ir/o.../000150NEW.pdf I read all of it. Over the past 3 years I have been trying to figure out what I experienced. I even read some of the work that Roger Penrose and Stuart Hameroff were involved with dealing with awareness at the quantum level. I had a suspicion that somehow I was sensing the future emotional responses associated with winning (good feelings) and losing (bad feelings), but I wasn't sure. From what I gather from reading the paper, the greater the future emotional response - the greater the pre-physiological response (especially in the heart). I'll do some of my own little experiments, and if I can figure this out, you know where I'm going |

If I were you I would try to "imagine" that area above your ear heating up again, even if this does not work the first time, keep at it, eventually you can re-create the feeling and maybe even re-create your winning streak. Knowing exactly what area of your brain is the part that will help you win at blackjack is not an easy thing to do, being given a demonstation of that, was a very lucky thing on your part. Now that you know what area of the brain you have to work with, start to focus on that area more. You could do meditations while you are at home, where you close your eyes and focus on this area, and like I said, just imagine it heating up. Feeling heat in any of your higher chakras is a great way to awaken them. In the past, on a few occasions I've have this happen to me, and everytime it did... almost miraculous things happened. These were all spontaneous happenings to me... but after reading your post, I think I might get back into it... maybe producing a heat in the brain is the way to go!

I've been reading about the symptoms of kundalini rising. Until now, I've never heard of a kundalini. I've never been the spiritual type. I'm more of a science and math minded person. At that time, I was under a large amount of stress. When I was a baby nearly half of my mouth was sewed shut due to an accident, and all of the stares and ridicules that I thought that I had forgotten about were coming back to bother me everyday. I had plastic surgery a few years ago, but these things were still coming back to bother me in my mind. During this time, I was having what I thought were panick attacks where I would feel like I was loosing my mind. I literally felt like my mind was going out of my head and I had to fight hard to hang onto reality for fear of losing it forever. It scared the crap out of me everytime this happened. Also, everytime that this happened my blood sugar would drop so low that I would get the shakes and I would have to eat something sweet like ice cream. Its wierd that my ability to sense winning outcomes happened right at the end of these panick attacks. After the panick attacks were over, I remember feeling more aware and smarter. Could what I thought were panick attacks have been associated with my kundalini rising? After what I experienced at blackjack and the new sense of awareness after the panick attacks were over, I definitely believe that there is "Something" more to human awareness.

Intense stress and panic attacks can be the cause of a kundalini arousal. The kundalini is a very strange force, and at times seem's to have a mind of it's own. Any extreme states can activate it...in some cases people have to be admitted to insane institutions if thing sget out of hand. I would do some searches on Kundalni activations, or Kundalini awakenings, there's much info on the internet, from what I've read you sometimes have to consult with a self-realized master who has already worked with the Kundalini to get help.

| Wow, great story. Congrats on that winning streak, I hope you can recreate it! If not, just double your bet on every hand, win or lose. If you have an unlimited bankroll, you should eventually come out ahead. |

A guy was giving a talk on using dowsing rods to find gold , it was at a monthly meeting of gold prospectors. The idea is the rods will cross each other when you are over some gold . He said after years of doing dowsing he got it down to something like just a twitch or a his eye would wink. It would be real neat to feel a body sensitation when having a winning hand of black jack or poker. desert rat

rivers, If you want to find out how you won at blackjack when that feeling in your head happened, I would form a question and state it outloud to your Higher-Self. If you ask this question once a day, everyday and keep repeating it... eventually maybe a month or more (or maybe even sooner) from now, you have an "ah ha" thought come to you and you'll just KNOW how you did it. Or perhaps a book will fall into your lap with the answer, or maybe you'll go to a lecture and have someone say something that tips you off...etc. I've done this before with perplexing questions, and if I kept repeating the exact statement over and over each... eventually my answer came to me. For your statement something like this: "I intend for my Higher-Self to please help me know exactly how I won at Blackjack when I had that feeling of heat in the right side of my head" |
