Astral Projection while awake

Hi,

1st time in here, so 1st of all, hello to everyone.

I would like to know what your opinions are on astral projection while you are awake.
Can anyone here do it?
Sometimes when i am bored i try it... nothing major has happened though, but it feels like i am getting a closer, I have pretty good success doing it when I am about to go to sleep though.
Is it possible? I have read maybe 2 or 3 accounts of it before but that is about it.
In my opinion it would be possible, but would require extremely good concentration in order to block out all the visual interference...
What do you think you would look like while projecting if you were awake?
I think i remember one where someone said they were jogging and next thing they knew they were floating above their body... so what was happening to thier body when that happened??

I have astral projected from an awake state. To be honest, it scare me because I thought I had died suddenly. To find myself out of my body so abrupty was unnerving and since I didn't initiate it (on purpose) I immediately merged back with my body for "safety." In hindsight, I wish I hadn't jumped back in so fast but explored why it happened.

I have done it a few times on accident when I was awake.
The time that sticks in my head the most is when I was pregnant with my daughter. I stood up, and felt funny (pregnant...go figure ) and I looked back at me sitting on the edge of the bed.
I turned and saw a lion walk in the door, and freaked out and tumbled under the bed, holding my stomach to protect my daughter. i remember seeing the silver cord flinging wildly, and it slapped me back in my body...very scary
