Often, a person goes to one of these virtuoso spiritual healers and does not like his or her physical malady - and still is healed.

That is exactly what that lousy thing is: a THEORY: and a horrendously-damaging one, at that.

One of the 1st. things God/Jesus did, in Healing others, is to REBUKE ... (whatever).
Whether is was casting-OUT: an evil-Spirit, or a personal-decision, to act crazy; ie CONTRARY to our created nature:
To REBUKE means not simply to "resist" any disease; oh no!!
It means, its very miserable existence, in no uncertain terms, to OUTright REJECT, or DENY!

And what is good enough with God/Jesus; is most certainly EXCELLENT for us too.

When I personally was saddled with miserable "diagnoses, & dis-eases", such as: leukemia,
abortion-thread, osteopenia, & Heart-failure, etc. - the BEST-thing I did,
was just this: REBUKE! OUTright REJECT!, & 110% DENY! its very existence.

why?

Because in so doing, I went from pitiful victim-status, to assured VICTOR-status:
declaring OUT!!!, I took BACK any & all Healing-abilities, within each of us.

And I teach this to no uncertain level of CONVICTION to others as well, and
this very Belief, & Thinking, & Behavior, in fact as well assured their own personal success.

And people will ridicule it: "What is the matter with that nut!"
Why isn't she writing? like the rest of us 'normal' people. Forget that,
she has no credibility, & blah blah.

That is ok; for my personal, plus helping others succeed successes,
are fortunately, not dependent on evil-thoughts of some people on the Internet.

Interesting. So when you did this - rebuked and outright rejected these diagnoses and diseases - then what happened next? How did your experience/process proceed from that point?

The important thing is not to resist the sickness. Of course most people don't like it, but we run into problems when we resist it.

There are certain reasons that we have sickness; it is a problem that we are creating from within ourselves. Healers introduce the Love of God, which heals this inner problem and thus the physical manifestation of it.

And as I already also said: it doesn't ride parallel to how God/Jesus healed people.
And seeing as how God/Jesus 'created' us in the 1st. place,
I dare say that HE/God knows just a tad MORE about healing, & all the rest of personal-development & growth.

As opposed to doing things (foolishly=loving sickness);

I dare say, we should be doing things God's way, ie
the way He taught us, which actually brought the dead back to life,
plus lesser miracles, and which demonstrated how we too can help people heal...

This is certainly your perspective, and I respect it. We are on separate paths of healing. I will stick to what I believe God has been showing me, though I suspect you may disagree.

Absolute agreement, here.

The original idea with this thread was to ask people here at Pavlina to share some of your own experiences with healing. To be willing to share: what happened? and how did you go about it?

I tend to feel if we bring our focus back to this, then arguments can be avoided.

(Remember, too... you always have the option of private messaging someone if you want to work out a disagreement and carry on communication that is not part of the main focus of this thread. )

Thanks for reviving this thread, sk8joyful. I have to admit I'd given up on the various physical-healing discussions (threads) here on Pavlina. They seemed to have petered out, despite my starting & posting.
