Are your spirit guides exclusive to you or is it possible that you share them with others, especially family members? For example, if my deceased grandmother became one of my spirit guides is it possible she is also a spirit guide for my sister? Thank you |

I think having familial spirit guides is common in many tribes and cultures which practice ancestor worship. It's certainly possible for one spirit guide to have more than one charge. Why are you asking us? Why not ask your guides? |

spirit guides are with you when you are born. That's when they are assigned. In my experience, your older relatives don't become your spirit guides after they die. At least in the sense that they are not official. Your dead relatives DO however, help to guide you, but they have a stronger emotional connection with you and won't guide you in the same way as your "official" guides would who are not emotionally biased. Your deceased relatives aren't necessarily qualified to be a spirit guide. You can communicate with them, they will offer their opinion, but I wouldn't refer to them as your spirit guides in that sense. |

Hit Erin recently when meditating i was lucky enough to have a wonderful experience, in which i believe one of my spirit guides identity was revealed. It was a big shock! I was having a conversation with my guide and asked if i knew them . The reply was yes. At this moment my body started to tingle from my feet right up to my head. like a wave of energy , and i felt this most amazing feeling of love.Actually the word "love" doesn't even come close to what i felt. I then knew, without a doubt, that my guides name was Terry and he was connected to me. My mother gave birth to twin boys, 12 years before i was born. One was still born and the other.Terrence, died at three months old.I just knew that he was one of my guides. I was wondering now though if maybe i am mistaken. |

I mean, your deceased loved ones do stay connected, they do communicate, and they do offer advice. I just wouldn't put them in the same category as an official spirit guide who was "hired" by your higher self to keep you on track.
