 |  Sleeping and seeing reality around me
I'm very curious to know more about experiences I have while dreaming, just due to the fact that I like hearing other people's opinions and experiences so we can all learn about ourselves or help others learn. For the past 2 years I began experiencing a sleeping state where I can see everything around me where I am sleeping at. It seems to happen more often when there is outside sources such as a television being on, but it also happens when there is not much outside interference. In addition I have a degree of consciousness to where I am very in tune with how I feel, and I can talk to myself, like if I am scared and I can tell myself to calm down and relax or if I feel very scared I can wake myself up. My body feels like I can move just barely and but there is an infinite gravity that holds me down every time I try to go anywhere. Also there is a disturbing force which appears very often in this state I am in. Usually it appears to be a completely see through circular being...the best way I can describe it is a ball of energy. Whenever I sense its presence I begin to feel nervous, and then I see it moving and my head begins to make buzz. I have felt threatened by it and I have also been angry at it and challenged it. Whenever I challenge it, it seems to get aggressive and get very close to me. In this state I have basically told it "F U" and it would go from like 10 feet away to right infront of my face. Usually I will come to after it really starts to freak me out and I will drop the state I was in, but if I fall asleep very quickly I tend to sink right back into the same state. I would greatly love any insight from anyone, I am just extremely curious as to interpretations of what I experience because these are not just interesting events to me, it feels like something greater than just weird dreams, and if they have any kind of purpose, I only would like some understanding.
