Nightmare!!! Horrible Building collapse.

This dream is SOOO VIVID in my mind.

I was walking with a best friend. There is this huge nice building in the sky. This is a major landmark in the skyscraper in my country. we saw from afar. It is beautiful with a huge ship-like structure sitting on top. So it looks like a ship floating in the air. in fact, in my dream, there are clouds around the ship. It looked so beautiful that my friend stopped to take picture.

Then at the moment, the building started to move. In the dream, my friend said that the building was going to "go into the ground" (like an elevator) so that the ship sits on the ground. It was a huge engineering feat.

So we watched. But instead of lowering itself, the building toppled sideways. Then I watched as it collapsed, and the whole building came crashing down.l

I thought about the number of people dying inside, and how such a celebrated building is now a disaster.

The building continued collapsing, as another part of the building broke apart again, and topple down.

Then I heard applause. There were people enjoying the drama !!

What's the dream about?

It was sooo vivid. is it foretelling a disaster in my life?

I wouldn't know much about dream interpretation. I just wanted to say that it reminds me of the feeling I get when I watch the news lately.

So much suffering in the world, and somehow it seems like there are so many who feed on it. I don't think that anyone wishes for bad things to happen really, but it does become a such a spectacle.

Many do see these atrocities and get excited over the drama, rather than taking a moment to really feel for those involved. You might hear them go over the latest events in excited tones at work or with friends, but quickly move on without pausing to feel what is a reality to someone in another part of the world.

I don't think that we should dwell on all evil and/or suffering in the world. We would never get far. But if we are going to watch it on the news, or talk about it with friends... it seems like we should do so with some delicacy and reverence for those involved.

I'm sorry if I have gone way off topic here. Just wanted to say what I was feeling from reading your post. I do hope you find your answer if there is one

Notice how you spoke of cheering and applaud, The building would signify some sort of bad to people or a race. This could just be a dream, because they are a mix of memories put into a sequence. But if this WAS a vision of some sort, it must symbolize a wellness for one peoples and an illness for others.

A reminder that man is a creator. And what one sees as a disaster another one may see as a fascinating spectacle.

A reminder of the impermanency of everything. Nothing material is eternal. The matter has its boundaries. And the question arises: "When will we move beyond the boundaries? Beyond the boundaries of matter?"

Different people saw this event differently. People were not united in their perception and evaluation of what they saw. And this is a reason why to explore Oneness, to transcend the duality. To rise into the realm of mutual rezonance.

This dream is not a prediction of a disaster in your life. It is rather a demonstration of the restlessness, fear and impermanency inherent to duality and of the games of the teacher who teaches us how to deal with the controversies of life.

Tell me about it! I've had dreams where I've been killed by umpteen different things....nuclear war.....dinosaurs on the rampage....a hole in my house....
If I sweated it all I'd be seriously dehydrated by now

But seriously (OP)...there are such things as precognitive dreams -sure. But many many dreams are there for our learning about things appertaining to our lives and psychology.
In your dream a "building" (therefore man-made, however attractive and wonderful) comes crashing down, and at the same time people are glad about this. The people are you. That means that inside you, YOU are glad about this. The building is something in your life -some structure, something you have constructed, or has been constructed around you. It collapses, -though that is a dramatic and scary process...but the outcome is a happy one.

just googled the tower.

there are many ways to interepete the tower....

one of the ways is as BlueStar says.... deconstruction of beliefs, or something major changing in life, old clearing away space for the new.

i certainly hope it's that...

it would be good news..... to deconstruct of old , and reconstruct something better in my life.

i believe dreams say something about the current state of our lives. they are expressions of our subconscious. e.g. i used to dream of monsters n witches chasing me for most parts of my life and i had a lot of anxiety as a person.

i certainly hope my dreams is as what u say. happy outcome !

Hi DoggyLady, Sometimes our dreams are of someone else or a portion of another place while being in our own space. (If that makes sense). Example while the skyscrapers of NY were falling. I was doing volunteer work on the other side of the world. There were indeed non-Americans who were cheering that the buildings fell out of hate, jealousy and one person on the news said now America knows how we live everyday with terrorism. They were untouched and out of touch until now.

The Aid workers returned for their safety. But I think you were able to get a global collective perception on the pulse and division of the world we live in today.
