Myth No. 6 Should be able to produce winning lottery numbers at will. You know Erin, I did once know somebody who could read your mind by simply staring into your eyes. It got to a point where everybody kept staring at the ground when they were around him, because they had such a guilty conscious of what they had been doing.. haha |

I think it is a great blog and definitely clears up a lot of misconceptions. My mom was worried about a so-called curse on her and the entire family since all of us are not having success with our love relationships for the past 8 years. But I told her exactly what you have said that if you believe in the curse then of course it will take shape and form to you since now that is your perception.

I have met people that can read minds. They dont come out and tell you they can. Some I have held weird thoughts in my mind and I can tell by there reaction. A lady worked at a new age book store , this guy with me thought in his mind "nice legs " she told him to his face "thanks for the complement but I am married" . Another guy owns a new age book store. desert rat

Not necessarily mind reading. She may have sense his energy, which was exuding appreciation of her physical form. If she had said to him, "Thank you, I know I have nice legs" then you could make a good case for mind reading. As you've presented it, Desert Rat, she could have just been picking up his energetic appreciation and commenting/responding to that. That's easy. It's the specifics that are not so easy.

There have been a few times I thought some one had read my mind by the words they used . One time I think this guy was mad at a guy that worked for him . Lets call him Jim Smith , I pick up the name and it kept coming up in my head , his wife used sevral names and she looked at me and said including Jim Smith. I may of read his mind and she read mine . I think many people do this and not realize it. desert rat

Great article. Sometimes I feel like telling people "don't think too loud, you're disconcentrating me", especially when a girl subtly looks at my ass when I'm doing something else. But yes, as you say, a psychic picks up the feelings. Mere thoughts such as a number don't have any emotional charge. That being said, if the person is saying the number out loud in his mind, someone who is clairaudiant may hear it. There are different kinds of psychics: those who see, those who hear, those who feel and those who simply know what is. There was a lady who went for a cafe with a very powerful psychic and asked him about her wedding ring that disappeared. He told her exactly who took it, when, how, where he is currently, where he is and on which finger he wears it. Simply knowing "what is" is the most powerful type of vision and it is called "clear-knowing". In the case of that guy, they called it "clear-annoying" because they can't hide anything at all from him Quote:
One shaman I met in Peru claimed something similar. Although there is a lot of robbery, he often walks with a thousand dollars in his pocket and never ever got robbed. Last edited by MysteryX; 08-11-2011 at 03:01 AM. | |
