hey guys, im kinda new here so im just a bit curious about lucid dreaming. I have experienced lucid dreaming only once in my entire 19 years of life and i find a lot of list of things to do while lucid dreaming. So, here's my question. Is it really that easy when you mastered it? How many times can you do lucid dreaming in a week? Can you like do it every night? If you have some tips, I would like to hear them all |

5 years ago when my mindset was really devoted to lucid dreaming, I had 2 lucid dreams a week or so. I personally found that when I lucid dream, it disrupts the sleeping pattern cause you are conscious instead of resting and I wake up even more tired. The best tip I could ever give you is go and get the book: "Exploring the world of Lucid Dreaming" by Stephen Laberge. The book is amazing on all your questions and techniques you could to for lucid dreaming including the famous MILD and WILD techniques. It is a research facility totally focused on lucid dreaming and the book is very educational.

I've been doing some research on astral projection of late and found a course online which is really brilliant. The guy that has written it seems to think that lucid dreaming and astral projection is more or less the same thing. (I've never been able to do astral travel until I read this. I started reading it a week ago and have since had 2 astral projections already!) I'll post the link here and you might be interested to read it. It's not about lucid dreaming perse but it might give you some more insight in the matter. http://www.med.wayne.edu/degracialab...ics/do_obe.pdf Hope this helps a little. |

This site is free, has way more information than LaBerge's book (although the book is very good), and is all about lucid dreaming: Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views There are many techniques described in the "Attaining Lucidity" subforum. I started there. |

Once you master lucid dreaming, you should be able to do it at least once a night with little problem. This level of skill takes most people a couple of years. On a practical note, you probably won’t actually want to do it that often. The easiest advanced skill to learn is to arbitrarily alter things. It should only take less than 50 tries to do the first time and can be mastered in less than a year. Most other advanced skills take at least a year to master, usually a couple. As for a tip, practice, practice, practice.
