remote seduction while asleep - does it work?

by this i mean i have alot of lucid dreams and alot of the time when im asleep i know i'm sleeping. my dreams are sometimes short and in between them i'm in a waking/sleeping state. this is when i use my remote seduction techniques but it doesnt last long as i usually fall back into another dream. would this work? i'm assuming it does as this sounds maybe like the theta state? or really deep alpha...
is there anything else interesting i could do in these little periods?

i'm not really trying to seduce anyone...theres a guy i like and i know he likes me back but i'm trying to work out whether hes just wanting sex or not. he said he would call me this week but hasnt yet so i was thinking maybe this would encourage it?
tbh im just more interested in things i can do in this state. i mean i'm really bad at meditating but i have pretty frequent lucid dreams and i know i'm blessed with this. i just need to get alot more control over my various states when i sleep

Meditation is related to gaining control over other states, because in meditation you gain some understanding of how you slip into other dimensions and how you return from there to here.

Try to be more positive towards meditation.

i have tried alotttt. i have a very chatty mind most of the time which is very hard to quieten. it doesnt help that im a student in summer and go out and get drunk alot

I doubt that remote seduction will work because it has a negative overtone. You might try sending out positive energy to the person by practicing loving-kindness meditation. Sit in a quiet place, close your eyes and start by breathing in and out your nose feeling the breath at the tip of your nose. As you breathe this way, imagine a soft, white light coming down on you from above that contains all the love in the world. Let that loving light spread out to encompass both you and the person you love. See the other person and imagine what he might be wearing and doing at that moment. Stay with that vision for as long as you can. Do this practice every day and see what happens.

how long must i do this meditation for at a time for it to effective?

It depends on what you mean by effective. If you are looking for results for yourself, it will be almost immediate. If you are looking for relationship results, there are no guarantees. Don't have any expectations either way. That's the important part. Have no expectations - just do it for the sake of loving-kindness. If you have expectations, nothing will happen.

Spiritual or psychic techniques aren't effective if you're trying to "get" a guy. The best you can do is use them to cultivate your own peace or understanding.

As for him not calling you back, that's a strong indication that he is either interested in sex and nothing more or not very interested at all. In general, if you ever find yourself wondering if a guy is into you, he's not into you. If he was, you'd definitely know. This is difficult to accept but key to remember
