Golden Sparkle. What is it? This has happened 2-3 times to me. No one has yet to really explain what it is. On the rare occasion usually at random i see golden sparkles in my vision. Its more then golden... It's one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. Multi dimensional sparkles fluttering about my vision. Theres no prisms around, and its really not like anything to do with light entering a prism. It's even happened in the dead of night when i was in bed and it was pitch black in my room. Has this ever happened to you? What is it? What does it mean? It feels like it defiantly has something to do with my spirituality but I'm just clueless what it is. Thanks :) |
I get golden sparkles from time to time. Like you describe, they are not prismatic or light reflections, and they do have dimension. I have noticed, however, that they tend to happen when I have just stood up or sat down. So either it is something along the lines of being related to autostatic hypertension, or perhaps something deeper and less easily explained. Either way I just observe them, they are cool and just there. Sorry I don't have any concrete answer for you. |
Hmmm... For me i don't think it had anything to do with standing up or down. The last time i remember it happening was just laying in bed. Feels better I'm not alone here however so thanks for the response. Still i am very interested in finding out a more in depth analysis for anyone else who may have some insight. |
The first thought that came to me was it indicates the presence of an angel or two (or more). Of course I usually associate gold energy with angels. :P |
There is an abundance of spiritual people, particularly practitioners of the western new age movement, to identify minor phenomena like flashing lights observed with the eyes or minds eye, with 'beings' of some sort. In my experience flashes of colour and light are more a sign of the brow centre being stimulated in some way. This stimulation could come from any number of things. Usually though the brow centre stimulates itself at seemingly unimmportant times and thereby the viewer catching glimpses or bursts of energy. We could also observe that perhaps the flash of light is not something that is in the etheric or astral but actually a symptom of the brow centre being stiumlated. Also, not to confuse 'stimulation' with 'fully active and functioning'. Stimulation like i mentioned can come from many a number of things like direct mental exercise, over exposure to light etc. Headaches, and time periods during the day, like very early morning and sunset and sunrise can also produce a stimulation in the brow. Very emotional times as well. This is of course my own personal experience with brow flashes. I have had the odd gold here and there, but mine were always purple, white and blue. I dont get them so much anymore. Angels are really powerful too. They can manifest in the physical right in front of you according to the experience of some others i know. Particularly powerful spirits can manifest themselves into the physical as well. The spirits i heard of though were ancient Maori in New Zealand who wanted a piece of their war canoe back. With your particular case i would put it down to just the effects of slight stimulation to the brow centre. Enjoy them! EDIT: I will add however, something i forgot to mention is that nature spirits are very common little beings that become attracted to certain environments and people for various reasons and they are often seen as little flashes of light. These nature spirits are more common to see as little flashes and orbs, rather then angels and masters etc. |
Thanks for your insight Jeremy & Veloci |
This happens to me from time to time, often when I'm dehydrated, or stressed. While I have experienced this while at rest, it happens most often in connection with bending over or sneezing. It is a phenomenon ironically known as an aura. I say ironically because it is not caused by the presence of a spiritual being, or angles, but from pressure on the optic nerve. This is the same mechanism that causes migraines, and is often called a visual migraine by many neurologists. In this case high blood pressure in the brain acts on the part of your brain responsible for sight, and showing us sparkles, rather than acting on another part and causing pain. Personally I prefer the pretty sparkles to the debilitating effects of a more classic migraine. This is mostly harmless, but in some cases may point to more serious issues. If you have a history of migraines in your family you may want to look into it with your doctor. When this happens in the future, enjoy the pretty show, but also ask yourself questions like, Have I eaten well today? Have I had enough water? It is more likely that your body is trying to tell you something than a spirit. |
