Interesting link. With my first try, at least, I was not very good at it. At all. LOL. Kinda makes me want to tear apart the code and see what they used for the random seed.

Thanks for the link!

I just came across this post yesterday. And yesterday was a perfect day out. The sun was out, tons of cloud clusters, that stood still in the sky, they weren't blowing away. So I tried it out, and I made a cloud disappear! I didn't think I'd be able to, but now I'm a believer. Next time I'll try bigger clouds or try to make clouds appear.

I've also managed to make a cloud disappear. That's so cool.

Default Clouds naturally disappear

All of them do eventually. It's called wind. Let me know when you can make clouds appear.

YEAH, exactly. And also specific clouds you pick out, when the rest stay perfectly still.

Wow this really works?
When I get back from work I'll be sure to try it.
I usually look at clouds and think about them just going away..lol.

Default It's true.

I just went for a jog, and stopped to try this out. I'm amazed. I made about 15 clouds disappear (wasn't really counting, but this is my best guess). I didn't believe it at first, and thought perhaps it was the wind effecting my results. So I picked clouds that I'd observed being stable over the course of 20 minutes, and made those disappear. I also split two clouds down the middle. Very interesting stuff.

I have a challenge for all of you, myself included.

1. Look at the current time. Record it.
2. Pick a cloud; Make it disappear.
3. Look at the current time. Record it.
4. Determine amount of time that passed.
5. Pick another cloud.
6. Make it stay for as long as it took for the first cloud to disappear.

Please post results.

Default You guys have to be kidding...

You don't really believe you're doing this, do you? Clouds naturally dissipate by themselves. I have an idea. Try this. Pick a cloud, then don't think about it at all. Watch TV and check on it every couple of minutes. Guess what? It will disappear! Woooo.... magic!

I have tried what you've suggested Dannyboy1. I went to an open field (so I can see the sky in all directions for many miles) by my house, picked some clouds, and checked back a few minutes later. On the day I did the clouds stayed solid. I know clouds can dissipate on their own, but this dissipation is effected by certain factors; such as, temperature increase, dryer air, etc. For the 20 minutes I was outside, watching without intent, these factors of dissipation were not in play; clouds were slowly, solidly floating across the sky. I picked clouds from among different groups, focused on making them dissipate, and within minutes they had been completely vaporized. No clouds next to them were disturbed.

Have you tried this? I don't see how you can make an informed decision, if you have not invested the time. Although, maybe you have no interest in this, and that is fine. But if your judging on preconceived notions, your opinions can't hold much weight. It's like what Steve Pavlina often says. If you believe it's possible, it is possible for you. If you don't believe it's possible, it's impossible for you.

Default It really works!

O.K. so I was sitting out on the patio yesterday having a beer (and NO I only had ONE! so it wasn't the beer lol!) and I decided to give this a try for the heck of it, so I decided to try an small cloud first and concentrated on it and I am not friggin kidding you it started to dissolve right before my eyes and then just disappeared. I couldn't believe it. So I told my husband and he thought I had gone completely mad and said don't say that too loud or the neighbors will think we are crazy!! So I told him to sit down and pick a cloud and I would make it disappear so he did and so he picked a bigger one and slowly that one started to break up and bam! it was gone too! I was like - see! I don't think he was really convinced because he was like "well all the clouds are moving anyways etc" but I KNOW I made it disappear! It was so cool! I wouldn't believe it myself only for I picked the cloud and that was the one to go! Crazy but true!

i tried this today and im not even very expierienced lol, except for maybe 6 mnths of meditaion practice, i picked a small cloud focused on it and imagined i was rubbing it out with an eraser, and it worked lol, im a bit gobsmacked to be honest , so i tried on another more dense grey cloud, it took longer but it definatly worked, am i right to visualise rubbing it out with something like the eraser, or better using will alone to make it disipate ?
any answers ???

Okay so i sat on my deck and watched the clouds for a while taking notice to see if any quickly dissolved or formed fast or at all. Some morphed around still floating in the direction they were slowly. I tried to dissipate a little guy. no success however i blew it up bigger and bigger it grew until it touched with the other clouds creating big cloud mass. I didn't know if i has accomplished this although i felt i was spinning it in the middle spreading it out. i tried another one and did the same thing and very quick probably within a min or two. however i cannot dissolve them. I feel lighter like i put some of my stress out there, honestly i don't know if i was sure i wanted to suck that cloud in.

Anyone had this happen?

Did you have any luck?

Supposedly there's a good scientific explanation for this. It has something to do with electromechanics and emotions I believe. Our emotions are affected by the ionosphere and so is weather. It has to do with our connection to it. I'll have to find where I read this.

I've done this here and there, but haven't had the chance to fully test it although I'm pretty confident that it's real. I wonder why this is kept so secret? If one person can dissipate a small cloud imagine what a group of people can do to a big cloud, or maybe even a storm cloud? Essentially, perhaps weather can be controlled if enough people concentrate.

I can't verify this for sure, but a friend of mine who works as a park ranger/ camp counselor teaches this technique to the kids who come to her camp. Supposedly, if they all work together during an overcast day they are actually able to make a hole in the clouds to allow the sun to shine though. Pretty cool if it's true.
