Seeing fractals between dream and reality?

I just had a very weird dream, in which I had my eyes closed all the time. When I opened them at the end of the dream, I also opened them in real life, BUT I saw my room extremely deformed (eg. the window was diamond shaped), it was black & white, and there was a fractal pattern all over my vision and various shapes, moving and deforming. I also heard some psychedelic "industrial like" noises, buzzing and crashes. What the heck was that? I am used to similar experiences, but this one was a bit different. I think I was paralyzed too, but it's hard to say, because I just tried to enjoy this experience

EDIT: I wonder how are fractals related to human consciousness.

Oh, wow! I thought I was the only one who did that. They are fun, aren't they! But I usually get some kind of vision of a person after a few seconds.

That is exactly what has happened today!

I had a very similar experience today, but it was much intense, and instead of fractals I saw some person/spirit/demon/myself (hard to tell) going to/from my body, or just ascending to the ceiling (again, hard to tell). Plus I believe I had closed eyes and the room was just my inner sight. I was paralyzed when it ended, and I felt extreme pressure and energy currents through my body, also insane humming and other sounds, I couldn't almost bear it.

Whenever I concentrated on any part of my body this feeling intensified and I couldn't move. I also noticed a strange thing: A point of pressure/energy going from one of my ears along my skull to another ear, going from one ear to another one repeatedly, almost like a pneumatic drill. I thought that it was indeed very strange. It lasted around 30 minutes and I was a bit scared.

In that state I also tried to leave body, it created the most intense feeling from all of them, but I didn't leave it.

Phew, I wonder what I am going to experience next.

Very interesting.
I had this experience a couple of times. The fractals, after 20 seconds (I don´t know precisely) morphed into a strange ambient: a vast library, a Salvador Dali-like landscape, a desert of gray rocks and colossal statues. This vision lasts for another 20, 30 seconds, then slowly morphs into my bedroom. Very cool.

The insight is a little hard to rationalize, but is kind of a dreamy consciousness still active while loading the waking life operational system. These visions were seen with my flesh eyes wide opened, so maybe I could say something like a "awakened lucid dream conscience". I know, it is bizarre, but the best I can express with words.
The fractals per se...I don´t know.

Is this possible? To visualize Fractal lights instead of the conventional auras and shapes !? This would be a fancy "defensive weapon" in the 'cosmic' balance .

the difference you see is basically the shift of wakefullness and dreaming, and you got either stuck in the middle, or you have to do something about or with it, that you have some unfinnished buisness with it.
