What does your spirit guides/angels look like?

I am always curious of what spirit guides or angels look like and I thought that I would never know what my spirit guides would look like since I have a long way to go in understanding them and communicating with them. But every now and then I become successful and finally yesterday after doing a meditation technique and coming up with my own 'special' location to meet my guides, I finally saw one of them.

Finally, I didn't imagine it on my own or have my own daydreaming affect the results. This happened naturally and out of the blue without any part of my ego or logic coming in. What I saw first was striking blue eyes and then I saw the face being soft (no facial hair) and I felt that he was wise and experienced and seemed to be in his Mid-40's look. Ha, indeed he was a handsome spirit guide. And yes, I was able to see he was male. But that is all I know of at this moment.

What about you guys? I would love to hear your stories or what your spirit guides look like

This. Also, there is Fox he is a fox and a human being, native american, shapeshifter. There is Bear, she always looks like a bear. There is Linden, who is a tree.

I started knowing about my guides/angels when I was very young, communicating to them has always been instinctual and easy for me. I would go in my head into a "secret garden", where I always appear like I am 5 years old - about when I started to regularly communicate with my guides.

I know I have more angels, but I one I am talking to sometimes is called Mihail, is tall, with white skin and light brown curly hair. He has green eyes and wears a bright green toga. Sometimes he is also wearing brands like Dior and CK and jewelry

I think i have met mine in my dreams.Each time he has given me advice or told me something that i remember on first waking but then forget.He always has the most beautiful blue eyes i have ever seen and fair hair.His features seem to change though and apart from his blue eyes i could not describe him.One thing i always remember is the amazing feeling of love that emanates from him.

I have seen one of my spirit guides only once. She was dressed in a long cream-colored robe. I don't recall her face real well. She was very beautiful looking.

Let's just say my ego is so messed up that it puts filters onto the beings that are assisting me to look really... disturbing. lol

This is a fascinating question. I don't agree with lots of the angel stuff circulating in the new age at the moment. I think it all goes much deeper. But anyway.

I have seen my Guardian angel only a few times in meditation. I feel he just doesn't need to reveal himself all the time...so he doesn't lol!

Angels normally look incredible. I was very lucky to see a form of my angel which was just immaculate. He was at least 8- 10 feet. He wore this highly detailed armour. It was very new looking, not middle ages or anything. It was gold and platinum and black and it had inscriptions on it, probably very special symbols. It sort of resembled almost japanese armour in a way, but it was just so beautiful. He carries just these two swords of pure light. It really is just a glowling sword of pure light - no handle or anything like that. Really long and quite wide i noticed.

His face is gentle, but he looks as if he's in mis mid 20's or something! it's awesome. I tend to normally have much older people around me, and he is, but he just looks young where everyone else looks older. His eyes are green, his hair is a blondy - brown cascade of awesome down to his shoulders. And he wears normally a giant cloak...bit jedi really and he also has these huge gold wings. I asked for his name, and he told me it was Raphael. This came with confusion because we all know Arch Angel Raphael and this wasn't him. And he said he wasn't his brother, he was just named Raphael. So i call him Raf and he sticks around when i need him lol.

I have Lana who is my psychic/conduit guide. She's very nuturing, like a grandmother type energy. She looks african to me, i have to say. She wears traditional african garb with the headdress and it's green and yellow and red and black. And when she takes the headress off she has very close shaven hair. She's quite large in stature, i would place her in the mid 60's. She talks very softly.

Ekachina is another. He's a mentor, all rounf guidance type of guy. Very good relationship with Ek. He's tall, perhaps closer to 7 feet. He's native American (as most are these days lol) and he wears this sort of poncho/cloak. It's just awesome. He appears younger to me some days and older to me on others. His hair also is seperated on both sides with pony tale type things and that's where he hangs his feathers.

My Higherself looks like an asian sage version of Yoda. He's just awesome. He dresses similar to Raf in colour because he is also laced in gold and black, but white instead of platinum. He wears silk and he's normally always sitting. Or when he's standing he's fondling his mala beads or something lol. He's just great, and funny.

I actually have heaps and heaps of others. I know they're there, i've just not met them yet. I have someone from another planet, interdimensional or something like that. I have an eagle, not a totem, like a guide who appears to be an eagle. I have an old man with a staff who looks maori, and also some maori warrior type people. Geez the list goes on.

But those 4 are my main ones. Couldn't ask for anything better really.

I have 3 that I have an impression of from experiences I've had recently. The first is Devin who I call "Duffin" as that's how I was first reading his name. It's become a joke and tickles him when I call him that. He is tall, slender, blond, dresses like a gentleman from the early 1900's, with a checkered coat. He is here to help with guidance in the business I am in. He hasn't been part of my guidance until recently, probably around the time I started up the business with my partners.

Another guide is Gwyneth, I haven't really seen her. She seems to be a guide who has been with me since birth. She seems to be dark haired, wears her hair in braids, which is fairly long. Wears a dress, again from the early 1900's.

A third that I've met is very tall, between 7-8 feet and he looks like an older fellow. He has white hair and a beard and he is dressed with a toga covering his lower half. This picture capture how he looks, except that he is usually smiling when I see him.

There was another guide who was here for a bit to help me resolve a problem. That was Mary, a plump, matronly woman, dressed in modern clothes, very mothering. She has moved on to help someone else.

For a guardian angel, I sense one, at my back, but haven't really seen him, since he's always at my back. I get an impression of a large, warrior like presence, no armor, dark hair, ready to act when I need it. I suspect he and my guides were working overtime last week to get out of a potentially unsafe situation that could've ended very badly. Which also turned out to be an incident which did a final bit of convincing for a friend of mine who has been interested in my exploration of psychic abilities.

I sense many other guides around but those are the ones who are currently active. I also get impressions of people who have passed and I've had that for years.

hm, hard question. They have been described to me and it seems each psychic sees someone different (*cough*).

The ones I've seen myself are like "temporary guide". Once it was a Irish/Scottish looking man, long red hair and blue eyes, wearing a kilt, not looking young but not too old either.

The most recent one was a man again, not too tall, slim, just wearing a white tunic. He was bald and his face looked a bit like this:

Its so cool that many of you know your Angel/Guide names. I did ask mine for a name once(although i don't really think it matters really. Names are for humans benefit.Angels/Guides and spirit world don't need names because they recognise each other anyway) I switched on the tv just after i had asked and some woman called Abby was talking.When i switched channels ,a woman was having a baby scan done and she had named the baby Abby.Later that day i took my dog to the vets and noticed that the receptionists name badge said Abby.Wondered if that was my answer or if i was just reading too much into it.
Going back to what they look like,as i said, mine seem to change features.I did read a book by an Irish author(for the life of me cannot remember the title or authors name lol,Senile!) about her experience with Angels. She saw and talked to him regularly and said that he changed clothes,appearance and age, as if to fit the situation or mood.When you think of it Angels are pure energy and have not lived on Earth so there appearance is probably what they think we want to see, unlike Guides who have lived a life on Earth and have decided to,for whatever reason,guide and look after someone else.

Allowing that this may just be me indulging in a fun daydream, I always imagined my nameless Bodyguard as a big, bald stoic fellow in vaguely Egyptian looking clothing. The nearest thing I've seen to him in pop culture is a Jaffa from "Stargate"...

well actually waxfrog there is a fine line between imagination and being psychic. I used to think some of the stuff in my head was imagination and dismiss it but i have learned to tell the difference between the two now.

That is how Kuthumi came to me today during a meditation. I was unable to see his face other than the clothing he donned. The reason is my mind is quite hyper-active which I am learning to control through samatha meditation, e.g. anapana sati, focusing on just about whatever. When I tried to get more clarity regarding his facial appearance, I saw no beard. I felt a gentle disposition/presence when he came to me though. Kuthumi reminds me of a fatherly figure.



I asked El Morya to give me an image to draw, and he gave me this. Then I realized is him. I was unable to see his face clearly (my ego is gradually becoming my inner child/Mighty Self). Regardless his hat and clothes were all shades of blue. It was a combination of light to dark blue. I chuckled a lot; he is quite a hilarious master. He is like the "oddball" in a sense in my primary guides (Kuthumi, Quan Yin, and El Morya). He, in a way, is like the son figure.



Quan Yin showed me this image of her standing on top of a dragon. I finally realized that the dragon is a "creature" I can think of and call to me. It will bless me with its characteristics such as strength, courage, wisdom, so forth. Due to divine intervention, all three of my guides together reflect a dragon. Quan Yin reminds me of a motherly figure.

I wish I am unable to see their faces clearly, but that will be for another time when I get really grounded and have far better control over my mind. I asked how many Guardian Angels I have, and I received the number "four." I do not know if I have that many GAs by my side, but regardless I know I have at least one.



That is how she came to me one day. She looks very beautiful. I call her Iris. I had a synchronicity where "Iris" came to me the other day again. I asked her to come to me right now, and she looks a lot more human instead of anime-ish. She has no wings, no swords, etc... But I feel she is quite powerful. They are angels after all.

My oversoul came to me looking like a shadow with red eyes and chains all around him. To me this symbolizes that I am not ready to connect with him yet. I outta get very grounded right now. I also feel I have a couple of other spirit guides by my side, but I am most likely won't meet them consciously. =\ I thank them; bless them; and love them in the end! =)

This is a pretty common occurence thanks to the vast differences in perception from one person to the next. It's the same idea that if you give 10 people an object and ask them to describe it, you'll get 10 unique descriptions of the same thing. The variance with ethereal entities is even higher considering that all energy is "colorless and formless", so the form and color is something completely uniquely interpreted by the individual mind/consciousness of the observer. It leaves much more room for unique interpretation of the energy, meaning two psychics could look into the same energy and see two different things. Just an interesting observation I've made over the years after speaking to many other psychics about their clairvoyant/clairaudial/clairsentient experiences, really neither here nor there.

Having said that, I've told you before that my main angelic source of communication is Gabriel. He appears to me as a male figure made of white light energy. He seems to be wearing flowing clothing with generally indistinct features. I really feel how he looks rather than truly seeing how he looks. Sometimes I see him carrying various objects, sometimes he comes to me just as a voice and I can tell it's him by his vibration.

One of my favorite entities to interact with has been a Luminaria. This entity appears to me as a light being, made of pure source energy. I get a distinctly feminine impression, so I see her as a female silhouette. I generally only see her when I'm drawn to Nebaddon, although she's visited me on a few other occassions.

Oh I know, I just find it frustrating than one day it's a woman, the other day it's a an old Caucasian man dressed in 17th century clothing, then it's a dark skinned jungle man, then it's a guy called Soleil (how archetypal) then it's this and that. The only time it seemed to be more or less the same was a woman guide (the name was different but had three syllables and the same pattern of vowels). Anyway... that is why now I want to be the only one to talk with my guides...psychics just confuse me more than anything else when it comes to my guides.

It is so good that you see angels! I do feel them and am connected to them, but i have not had the privilege/honour to see them yet.

Angels are however they want to look LOL. I didn't have a choice in what appeared to me per se, because it just appeared. ( in my minds eye, not full on appiration) I did however have an influence or a filtering of perception in what i wanted to see.

All you need to do is sit and breathe. Be very calm and relaxed. And just ask to see your Guardian angel, or guide or higher self. No need for woo woo. Use you're imagination. Don't expect things to be as clear as a movie on a screen with your eyes closed. Some clairvoyants say this is what happens, but this is not always the case. My clairvoyance at the stage i'm in, is like how one would imagine something.

Imagine an apple, then what your house looks like - what your car and your mother and father looks like. That is how things appear to me. And you know what? Imagination isn't always visual thing lol. You sort of sense a picture, see perhaps a very vague and filtered glimpse. That is kind of how my clairvoyance at this stage works. It can be developed and i intend on working out how. Then i shall write a trainging textbook

So don't sit there when you try this thinking " Omg, i can't see them like all the psychics describe" because it's not always like that. They're a select few, quite different from you and have had quite adequate practice.

Some interesting points came up here. When I do intuitive work for other people and they have had other readings before that attempted to either name or describe a spirit guide or angel, it is pretty common that we get a match. Like, if they've been told a name but never had a description, I might say, "I met a man who looked like X and he gave me the name Pedro, but I know it's not your primary guide because your primary guide is female," and they will say,"Yes I had a reading before where they described that man the same way but couldn't give me a name. My primary guide is a woman named Y."

So you never know who is going to present - it could be the primary guide or not, sometimes a group, sometimes multiple guides, and sometimes guides and angels. They appear as they want you to see them for whatever reason - either as a confirmation on a previous reading or how they've shown up before for you, or with a name you'll recognize, or from a time frame they most identify with, or in an appearance that resonates with you for a reason.

When I had an attunement to read the Akashic Records my guide showed up as being purple and enromously tall, almost alien-like and it freaked me out, so I asked him to show up in another way and since then he appears as a woman who I recognize from drawings I did as a child. The entity doesn't care what he's called or how he looks to me, he cares that I am contacting him, so he's accomodating, I guess

I'm really interested in meeting my spirit guides, I don't know if I would need to work towards it or set the intention for it to happen in a more effortless way.

I am not versed on spirit guides but there has been 2 dream experiences I've had that felt "different" and while I don't know if there is some 'test' for spirit guides lol, I thought "Hmmmm maybe these are 2 of them" and those are the only two times or two experiences I would readily put into that category.

One dream happened a few weeks ago. There was an old man, he actually looked like an ogre but in a cute way, if that's possible lol. He was ugly but not in a scary way; his face was very worn and his facial features were exaggerated; he had a bulbous nose, big lips, deep wrinkles. He was short and stout but the spirit about him was very warm and inviting like a grandfather type of feeling, although he came off as a bit awkward and shy. He wore a blue button down and he was very fast talking like a "nutty-professor" type. In my dream he was schooling me on marine life, he dived into a large aquarium and pulled out various squid, coi and other fish and was telling me about them excitedly. I like him! When I woke up was when I thought, maybe he is a guide of mine. OR maybe not, but even right now it feels resonating. I haven't seen him before and I don't know if there is some test for these kinds of things: would he show up again in the same form? Can he show up on my command? Or would he be the same energy but different form?


Another dream I had was about 2 years ago and I was walking with a woman who was in a beautiful indigo colored hijab and a creme colored kaftan. She had striking eyes and seemed to have a mature spirit, but I couldn't tell if she was actually old physically, but she "felt" mature and solemn. Her face kind of seemed like the face of a young girl or a woman up to her late 30s. She seemed old and young at the same time and in one part of the dream we walked off some paved road and turned onto a dark, wooded path and I became scared then the woman had a lantern saying she had to go down this path because it was her "hajj" and that someone else would take me back home. It was a very strange dream that I still remember vividly and also wondered if this woman was a spirit guide of mine.
