Any Animal Communicators Here ??

Just wondering if there are any animal communicators here who would not mind helping me out with an old Mare. I am just developing my abilities and would like some validation that my instincts are correct.
I never thought of myself as an animal communicator but it seems to have chosen me :o
Anyway, I have an old mare I just got in and she is skinny. Just would like to know if my feelings are accurate.

Nimue 05-06-2011 10:57 PM

I'm not really one, but my empathy generally helps in understanding animals...
What exactly would you like help with? Do you have something your instinct tells you about the old mare?

veloci 05-06-2011 10:58 PM

I am quite an empath, so I might be able to assist you. What exactly do you want help with?

180 05-06-2011 11:35 PM

I can talk to fish,

They are really boring though. Can't seem to hold a conversation for longer than 3 seconds.

Any Animal Communicators ?

Hello and that you both for your response. On Monday. I brought home an old mare 26-27 yrs old .She is very skinny.I put a bale in a pen for her to free feed and I am also giving her some pellet senior feed and mineral/supplements
I am just getting started on my learning but it seems I can feel what animals feel.
I woke up this morning with a huge pain in my stomach. I fed the dogs and then went to feed the horses. When I got to her, I gave the pellets/minerals and decided to brush her.I got pain so bad I had to stop and come inside.

I felt it was a sign so I said out loud.*I know this is a sign* I then asked is it me.No pain.I asked about the dogs by each name and then the horses. When I said her name. the pain was so bad that it doubled me over.
My instinct tells me that she needs to be introduced slower to free feed. By her lack of weight, she has not been free fed.
I guess what I am looking for is validation that my instinct is correct. I have been told that I am an Empath and in the past have been able to telepathically tell another horse who was down to get up and go into the barn. He too had stomach issues at the time and I just knew what to do for him.
Hope this makes some sense..........thanks

Nimue 05-06-2011 11:56 PM

It sounds like you have quite a talent with animals to me ;) And the general rule about stomach problems is lighter food, so it sounds like a good idea (I have no idea about the details of the horses' diet, but as far as I understand you talk about giving her lighter food, right?)
Could it be food poisoning from something she ate?

By the way have you heard about shielding? It could help you to not get too affected when you detect pain.

Any Animal Communicators ?

Thanks Nimue,
I have always loved animals and they are drawn to me as well.
3 years ago we went to a place to look at a dog to buy and they had horses. One was looking very depresses. I asked about him and was told his name and that he was mean and nasty horse who bites and kicks.I called to him and he looked at me and walked toward me.We met at the fence and he put his head into my arms, mumbling in a low voice.I had to leave but he was in my mind.I went back 2 weeks later and brought him home.He was so sick and almost dead. The vet could not believe how fast he got well.
Strange thing is, even though I have loved horses all my life, I have only owned them for just over 3 years and knew absolutely nothing about them.I have been told by vets that I have great intuition,I just know what to do even though no one tells me and I have never seen it before :)
I know about shielding yes but sometimes I still get the pain or other things.
Thanks for the compliment :)
I have only been working on developing my abilities since the end of February this year.

bluestar 05-07-2011 01:25 AM

Maybe she's skinny because she has a parasite, which is causing some malabsorption problems? That's just a thought, I can't say I'm certain. But is there a way of testing for it?

veloci 05-07-2011 01:29 AM

I asked my guide what could be wrong with your horse, and I received an image of a fire. There is an inflammation somewhere in or on the horse. I am unsure of the location, however, starting the horse on antibiotics might help. Suddenly I do not feel well now. I feel sick to my stomach. o_o

EDIT: There could be a bacterial infection. I just received that thought. Good luck!

Hi Bluestar,
Thanks for your comment. That would normally be the first thing to do but she was on a regular worming schedule and the last time she was wormed was in March.
When horses get older, they have a harder time gaining and holding weight.Usually it has to do with their teeth.
I am going to get the vet out to check them. She will be de-wormed again as well.
There are fecal smear test for worms but it is more than likely not worms, just her age.

Hi Veloci,
Very good!!! I was out brushing her and her right knee is swollen and hot! In a horse of this age, it is usually arthritis. I will have the vet check her leg as well.
I have a gelding who has arthritis, there is not much you can do for them.I give apple cider vinegar and some joint care supplements.

veloci 05-07-2011 01:37 AM

Okay an inflammation is usually an indication of a bacterial infection. Her arthritis is most likely causing this. Bless your horse soul! She is in such good care. :)

fire Horse 05-07-2011 01:42 AM

:)
She is a dear old girl. She had a baby when she was 24 yrs old and it took so much from her. It's a very long story but she was with me,placed in a loving home and then had to find a new home due to the families situation. As soon as I heard this,I said, I will take her back. She was not abused or neglected at the home but the winters here in Alberta are very cold and hard on old souls :)

veloci 05-07-2011 02:15 AM

Aw you sound like an awesome person! =D

I still feel bleh after zoning in on your horse. There's a medicinal after taste in my mouth.

fire Horse 05-07-2011 02:25 AM

Thank you.......
I hate that feeling but I know that it means that I have used my abilities and helped someone/thing :)
Try drinking something or eating something sweet. At times the taste is so vile that I know it was something that was not nice!

veloci 05-07-2011 02:29 AM

Hehehe! You should ask the earth spirit and Archangel Raphael to send healing energies to your horse! It will help her! =) Of course asking for the Angels help will work too.

EDIT: As long as your heart is on this intention, even if you don't believe in them just ask anyway!

fire Horse 05-07-2011 02:42 AM

I do believe in them :)
I ask them for help all the time.I pray every night before bed for help in learning and doing my best and for signs.
I think my problem is that I doubt myself all the time.
I had a psychic help me with a major clearing on our land and home.It was NOT nice!
Anyway, she told me I have great energy and I just need to trust my gut. haha, yeh I get hit in the gut :)
Anyway, she told me that my hands heal.I have had a few situations with animals where they should have died and they got well. I would put my hands on them and my hands would stop in areas.I would hold my hands there and ask for healing for the animal.I used to think I had no part, God made them well. The psychic said, *well you were a big part. The healing went through you and into the animal, you were the deliverer*
As I said, I have only been learning since Feb this year and there is so much to learn.
I must say that I think I have been directed to work with animals, even though I knew nothing of it :) This happened years ago. before I decided to learn all about this.

Nimue 05-07-2011 09:26 AM

Nice one, Velocci! :D I was about to give it a shot, but I feel like you two have already covered more than I could. Your horse is so lucky, Fire_horse! :D She's really in the best care.
Also, your healing gift combined with empathy can do miracles. (These two should come as package, being able to actually improve things sure makes you one lucky empath! I'm a litle jealous :p )
Tell us about any change to the condition of your horse. I hope her fragile health will improve soon :)

fire Horse 05-07-2011 04:06 PM

Any Animal Communicators ?

Well I really need to learn what needs to be done so I am able to do things correctly.
Thanks for the compliment though :o
There is so much to learn and study.I was going to leave the healing until after learned about the Clair scenes but it seems the healing is what is in the forefront.
I am just a little overwhelmed right now. Before my home was cleared, I used to hear, smell and see entities. Now, I only have a ringing in my ears that gets louder when my attention is needed. The ringing got very loud yesterday to the point that is blocked other sounds.I have seen a DR and it is nothing wrong with my ears.I also still see shadows/lights etc flash past. The home is so different now but I am sure my family members who have passed as well as my guides/angels are what I am seeing.I used to smell cigarette smoke, body odor and other foul things but not since the clearing.

The mare is doing much better. It's going to take some time for her to put weight on but as soon as we have grass in the pasture, she will be put out there and that always helps them to gain weight.

Thanks to you and Veloci for all your help.

veloci 05-07-2011 04:10 PM

Hi fire Horse,

Your third eye chakra may be quite advanced right now. Your description of your situation tells me that you are clairaudient as well. You are quite a combination of empathy, clairaudience, and third eye mate. I feel it is in your best interest to learn how to protect yourself from the metaphysical world, especially in healing yourself. You are quite sensitive to these animals, so I would not be surprised if you have a ton of negative energies and cords with you right now. Also I feel it will be in your best interest to start communicating with your spirit guides and guardian angels. They will most likely be able to help you out with all of these stuff. From my perspective and current understanding of your situation, your spirit guides and guardian angels want to tell you something. You must be hearing a lot of thoughts in your mind. That would be a good place to start at listening to them.

Love and live light,
Veloci

fire Horse 05-07-2011 04:42 PM

I am also trying to learn about Chakra's :)
I have bought some book and Cd's to help me. I have a problem grounding but have some audio CD's now to help.

My home was a very active place before the clearing. We have a vortex plus our land had allot of blood spill. There was so much going on in our little plot of land and home.
Our land was Native land before it was taken from them.LOTS going on!
Where I live,I am pretty far from any towns and people in the area think people who are psychic or healers or whatever are Witches or of the dark side. For this reason, I have no one to ask questions to or be a mentor.
Books and CD's are fine but if you have questions, it is difficult to know if you doing things right.
I ask every night for my spirit guides and angles to give me signs and to help me.One night I was woken up by a woman's voice saying Jana, Jana,Jana in a loud whisper.
I can only assume that is the name of a spirit guide??
The Medium who did the clearing helped me with some things but she too is 5 hours away from me. I constantly see the same numbers 333 etc.I bought Doreen Virtue's number book and 333 is the Ascended Masters are happy with what I am doing, or that I am in their Favor. There is SO much to learn! I wish there were people that would be willing to form a group in the area. I have a friend who is also learning. He is more advanced than I am because he was able to go to Calgary for a weekend course.I unfortunately do not have that option.
Anyone know of and like minded folks in my area? I am 2 hours north east of Edmonton Alberta near St Paul!

veloci 05-07-2011 10:06 PM

Oh my gosh... I actually recommend you to talk to a fellow forum member name Len Walker. She might be able to help you out a lot with this. You might have other activities going on than I thought. Yeah I hope you have learned some self-defense techniques. I listed some places where you can start learning some techniques!

Self-Defense Psychic - some good posts here and there for self-defense in psychic terms.
Psychic but Sane and Len Walker's website - there are a lot of stuff you can learn from these two people. Also research more about elementals on Len's site. Your place may be on the receiving end of these guys.
Grounding Yourself - fantastic ways to keep yourself on earth. You need balance between the physical and the spiritual realm, otherwise, you'd go crazy/tired/etc.
Talking to Guides/Guardian Angels/Higher-Self - pay attention to Midnite's posts. He has some powerful techniques that you can learn to protect yourself and start talking to your guides and GAs!

As always, Erin Pavlina's website contains a lot of information you may find valuable as well.

Love and live light,
Veloci

fire Horse 05-07-2011 11:19 PM

Hi Veloci,
I am open to talking to anyone who might be able to help me figure things out.
Thanks for the info and links. My internet is acting up again so I can't get online much today.
How would I find Len Walker?
Yes, there allot going on in my world :) Info is coming at me so fast that I can't drink it all in!
Thanks again :)

veloci 05-07-2011 11:30 PM

Len Walker is on this forum.

I also gave you a link to her website, so you can contact her on there too.

Send her a PM today if you can and describe to her your situation right now. I really think there's some spirits there who have not move on yet AND perhaps some elementals too.

I also apologize for giving you so much information, but take it a bite at a time. It was quite overwhelming for me too when I began, but it got easier real fast! Good luck man!

I ask Archangel Raphael to send healing energies to fire Horse' horse! Thank you!

Love and live light,
Veloci

fire Horse 05-07-2011 11:42 PM

Actually the info you gave me helped to understand some things. Thanks for all the help you have given to me.I will contact her for sure.

Is Glucosamine and Chondroitin ok for horses?

The reason I ask is because my dog had a broken leg some years ago. She is a very athletic dog. The vet said she would most likely develop arthritis later and sure enough, she started limping and hitching up her leg sometimes, and it wasn't getting much better.
Well a year and two months ago I started her on the maximum dose of Glucosamine and Chondroitin, for her weight.

I didn't expect miracles, and I didn't expect this to work for a few weeks. Well, the oddest thing was that within less than a week, she had stopped limping and hitching that leg! And she hasn't done that ONCE in 14 months! (and bear in mind she had been showing some signs of discomfort for quite a while, on and off. She never seemed to be "in pain" generally, but it was just like she had trodden on a little stone sometimes when we were out on a walk)

I spoke to the vet about this and he agreed to try it.
Well I was very happy because the Glucosamine/Chondroitin really did work like a miracle for her!

fire Horse 05-08-2011 01:46 AM

Hi Bluestar, I give them a glucosamine supplement that is made for horses and dogs.
When they are old, all you can do is help to keep them pain free.I also give apple cider vinegar and that really works well.

momo3bur 05-08-2011 01:46 AM

Hi there! I have horses, too, and I might be able to help you. What kind of hay are you feeding her and how much feed? What protein percentage? What is the weather like where you live?

Sometimes, especially when they are very thin and malnourished, elderly, or unhealthy, or they haven't been fed properly, introducing them to too much food right away or changing their diets drastically can cause colic. Is she standing stretched out as if she's going to urinate? What about excessive rolling? Stretching her neck out and yawning more than normal? You might put an ear to her belly and listen for crazy loud digestion sounds. Colic can also cause lack of appetite, but if she's been starved she's likely to eat even in pain. Of course, it sounds like you already have horses so you may know all of that already!

Poor baby. She may have bits of colic here and there while you're trying to get her diet just right no matter how hard you try to keep her from it. If she starts running fever or quits eating and drinking, IMMEDIATELY call your vet! Horses can get over mild colic on their own, but when it gets nasty it can be absolutely horrible.

I think I do the same thing you do as far as feeling and kind of communicating with animals. I had a dog that was hit by a car not too long ago. All day that day I had an absolutely SPLITTING headache that I couldn't get rid of. I remember thinking I heard whining but I couldn't find the source, so later I headed down the road to look and he had been hit by a car with his head smushed. Obviously I didn't hear HIM whining, but I wondered if that's where the head pain came from. I DUNNO? That kind of thing has happened a few times to me. I think I communicate better with animals than people, actually! lol.

momo3bur 05-08-2011 01:50 AM

OH, for the arthritis I have a friend who uses some kind of natural supplement for her performance horses. She says it works wonders and swears by it. I also know a lady who gives her 30 y/o mare steriod shots just in the winter when the arthritis is it's worst. You can always add glucosamine to her diet, too, but I wouldn't do it until you get her feeding regimine just right.

I'll find the name of that supplement for you.

EDIT: Ok, the name of what she uses is Devil's Claw. But you can buy SmartFlex Senior from SmartPak, which contains Devil's Claw and lots of other beneficials for senior horsies! I'm not sure how soon is appropriate to start adding any kind of supplement to her diet, especially ones that aren't necessary to survival, but I hear that works WONDERS for arthritis. Until then, I would get her completely checked by a vet to make sure the arthritis is not too debilitating. Watch her when she's at a trot, especially, and see if she favors that leg any. You can also rub her arthritic areas down with arthritis cream and wrap her knee with Vet wrap for the time being.

Another important thing that helps keep the pain away is to keep her active. It's good to let her out to pasture most of the time and even get her into a light exercise routine a few days a week. If it's really light, even everyday would be good.
