White Dove

Hi everyone....I stumbled across this forum while trying to seek out any experiences anyone may have had with white doves. Last fall, as I was driving my children to day camp, we experienced a white dove that was flying right alongside our car going the exact same speed (we were traveling at about 55-60 mph) and keeping up perfectly to stay aligned with my driver's side window. The dove kept up with us for approximately a mile and then veered off in its own direction.

The reason I keep thinking about this, is I can't remember ever seeing a white dove in the wild before this time, nor can I remember any other instance of a bird flying right beside my car as if trying to keep up with me for some reason.

At the time of this occurence I had just found out that I was pregnant, so I don't know if the pregnancy had anything to do with it or not, it was just the only thing out of the ordinary in my life.

Any ideas on whether this was a sign of some sort, or am I reading too much into it?

Many times birds in general symbolize Angels, when they interact with you. A white dove would give me the impression, even more, that an angel was with you that day.

Maybe it's time to start working with angels... to create heaven on earth!

As an after thought.... even shaman's and mystics pay strict attention to the flight of birds, they always give wonderful messages.

Maybe that dove used wind wake generated by your car to get faster to place she wanted to go. I wouldn't use such occurrences as sign from other world...

Usually birds are symbols of birth and death, depending upon the type of bird and the circumstances. In Judaism the dove is symbolic of the soul. I don't know how pregnant you were at the time - if early, it could just be announcing the new life.

Long ago for me I was going through a hardship in my life and I saw a dove on the roof of my house as I was just entering it. I was young and I took it as a sign for me that things will be okay and sure enough it did turn out that way. At that time I chalked it up to just an occurrence. But it gave me comfort so that mattered.

Well, I am going through another difficult time in my life and I have been looking for the dove message. I even asked my spirit guides since I know they give messages through weird ways like Erin Pavlina said one time through license plates I believe, if I am recalling right. Well, just the other day, I drove up and got out of my car and saw two doves on the tree right in front of me. I am glad I didn't scare them with my car. The damn thing is loud with its alarm when I set it. I stared at them and smiled and went inside my home to get my mom to show her. When we got the door, they were gone. Maybe it is just a coincidence, but sometimes being positive about it can help with the energies around you.
