Aura Photos

Hi, I just got back from a vacation with my family to the Grand Canyan and Sedona, Arizona. While there, we got a psychic reading and took photos of our auras. I was wondering if anyone else has had photos of their aura's taken and what they thought about it. Is the picture they take really your aura? I got it done twice to see how they compared and the colors were different but the shapes were similar. The aura readings were also a little different. One of the photos was taken with an actual camera and one was taken with a computer.

The psychic reading I got I thought was really good. I really connected with her and things really made sense. My mom went to a different psychic and she wasn't too happy. First, it wasn't the original one she chose (the one she picked was out that day) and my mom said the psychic didn't look at her at all. Just typed some stuff in the computer and stared at it the whole time. I tried to get her to come back to mine, but then it got too late and we had to leave early the next day to catch our plane.

Anyway, got off the subject a bit. I would like to hear any thoughts about aura photos. Thanks! Nikki

I've been thinking about getting the aura photo done. I want them to shoot me "normal" and then I want to meditate myself up to my white room where I do the readings and see if there is a difference.

I honestly don't know if the aura photos are legit. I don't know the technology behind them. But it would be fun to try it out anyway.

Well I didn't have Kirlian photography done but I had something really similar. There was a yoga center which had a okay I don't know what it's called but here's a rough description. They had a laptop computer hooked up to this machine that you put your hand on (there was an outline of a hand there) & it "scanned" you. I am looking at their website right now & they talk about doing a checkup of your "Meridian System / ki-energy circulation".

Anyways a little while later & a picture popped up on the screen showing with colors your "aura". Now I don't know officially if this aura that showed up was the full & complete aura I have..but it did show some things that I did know about already. Like it showed the white around my head & my enlargened heart chakra. It didn't show the silver sparkles my husband said he's seen around me ..which I've only read about in some aura books. So .. that's why I say I'm not sure it showed everything.

The two people who I think were volunteering to help at the Farmer's Market they were at were checking with the colors to see what it meant. I guess Left side meant different from the Right side. It also was nicely my first confirmation that I was to become some kind of healer as they said they saw green/blue energy coming into me which meant I was supposed to be healing or something.

I think the computer you mentioned is what I encountered. I shortly after looked up Kirlian photography for the first time which uses a camera. There were some people who noted when they were meditating or energized they had a very different aura from before so I think Erin if you do that you should have the same results they did.

So that's my experience with auras taken from a photo. I don't think it shows everything though maybe because I've had my aura read by an empath I respect & she was VERY accurate. Down to my connection with mother earth (which I had hardly ever talked about with anyone other than my husband).. & she also noted my problem areas such as problems asserting myself & being in my full power in the world. Heh. I'm still growing. So I hope this was helpful for you.

LOL. When consentrating i also see "auras" i believe there is a perfectly
good explenation for it(that i dont yet know) but i will not constitute
everything a dont know to stupid psychic lies or manupilation. Strange that
pshycics and some friends of mine(who says they also see auros) all of them
always see differant color auros on me. Dont go to one psycic ndc go to more that one at least 10 then you will see how inconsestent their lies
and manipilation are. With the auras on pictures you must remember
camera lenses are not human eyes and even 'n little dust that reflects back to lenses can look like i huge orb. Its easy to make money from waht people

I suppose you could get somebody who can legitimately see them, and compare them to the photo to see if it's similar? If auras are subjective then kinda throws it out the window eh?

I think that aura photos definitely have some legitmacy, but I had no idea about them really until I did some research on what they were actually. I had a photo taken only a week ago (thanks to a health fair at my job). I went into meditative mode..and boy was the photographer taken aback by surprise. I only moderately tried to open my chakras/meditate and the colors showed it and some. The validity for me was that it quite matched where I felt I was/and was going even using basic reference charts.

For those who have only had an empath or someone who can see them to interpret..my understanding is that vividity and appearance to them is more muted. I'm with Andrew..maybe do both and see how they match up.

About 5-ish years ago, I had my first aura photograph taken - I was fascinated. I had it done again in June 2010 - curious to see if they would be identical (my thoughts are that they shouldn't be, because our energy changes regularly -- our spiritual growth; moods; health, etc can all affect our energy).

I was pleasantly surprised when I compared the two.For the one in June, I had been approached by my deceased daughter who asked if she could be in the picture as well - and she did!

Hi JanT, sorry to hear about your deceased daughter? How did she approach you to ask you if she could be in the picture? And how could you tell she was in the picture as well? Thanks!
