Releasing energy

Does anyone know about clearing chakra's and energy?

My body felt completely full of energy(think I've waken my kundalini or something), so I visualied energy flowing down to the ground, not through the crown.
Is this bad or do you achieve the same result, and if there's something negative with this, what is it?

Yeah but EFT doesnt work on me, tried hundre thousand times. Thanks though.
but what about the energy I released to the ground, which was my burned karma or something, will I hve to go through all that hell again since I didn't release it through my crown chakra?

Also similar to what you did intuitively, you can ground youself! Do what you did, that's great, & also send/visualize/feel your roots/your energy going deep into the Earth to stabalize you & also feel yourself connecting with physical reality a little more when you do this. You can't shut down your Chakras all the way, but you can get them to calm ~ What I do after any energy work, or as needed, is sweep my left hand from the top of my head to my feet & intend that they all go back to regular, healthy, working condition.

Dave.. I'd like to ask you if you noticed any 'negative' consequences after channeling the energy down? That's how I think you know (my theory!) if its working for your benefit or not. If it did something odd like disrupted your field or something or made you feel queasy or something then I would say try some other way of channeling the energy.

I thought kundalini was traditionally channeled up? Up through the heart then through the third eye then through the crown? Honestly, when I learned qi qong I learned to visualize the energy come down through my crown & then out through my body & radiate out my hands. It didn't feel bad to me & actually heated up my hands so... maybe there is no real way energy has to flow but if you want to activate your third eye or whatever I've read that kundalini channeling does help make your third eye/crown more active? Depends on what you want to achieve. I don't know much. Umm...I'd suggest googling kundalini. Maybe check out some yoga books? I thought they talked about energy. Sorry if I didn't know that much about this subject.

I understand crazy energy...boy do I... You intuitively understand about grounding down. I also imagine a chimney coming from the top...because I want my energy flowing freely all around. Probably the quickest way I've found to balance is to take a walk. Nature absorbs energy...so I picture the extra going out and being cleared. Focus on breathing more mindfully than you normally would. Not so much that you rev up even more...just balanced and easy. I do remember when it first began, people telling me to just find a way to use the extra energy...so I would hit a tennis ball against a big wall. It helped.

There are tons of books out there on all of this, including Kundalini...but in my experience, they just assist a process that needs to be learned from within. Many of the things I've experienced are nowhere to be seen in any books...and even I woudn't dare to put them in print. Maybe it's just part of the whole process...learning to trust oneself.
