When dealing with Psychic Energy...

When you move psychic energy around your body, do you use emotions to fuel it, or do you just move it like it was something seperate from your body?

From my short journey into this I was using visualization to get the psi energy into my body and move it around.

I simply lost interest in psi energy, I'll probably pick it up again sometime in the future.

And short as in 'hey thats interesting--->proceed to read about it for a few hours--->try it out---->forget about next day'.

Also I noticed my chest becoming very hot (not painfull) and I wasn't sure if raising my temperature this much near vital organs is a smart thing to do. I wasn't good enough to move around the psi energy effectively.
It wasn't very difficult to do though, although reading a lot about it right before I started probably helped out.
