Arrow Unusual sleep pattern

Hi,
I have a very good friend who lives in Canada. She has been there since 2008. She likes the country and is doing good. But she called me yesterday and told me of this very strange thing. She mentioned that ever since she came to Canada, whenever she tries to sleep in afternoons, she gets kind of choking feeling...her head begins to feel very heavy and when she wakes up it feels as if she is in a trauma ....its very weird...she described that when she sleeps its as if she half awake and half asleep...she gets all kinds of dreams and also when she is in that state , she feels as if something is pulling her heart out...when she gets up she gets a headache and feels like traumatic.....she took medicines too but they haven't worked much and the doctor too is surprised...shes fit and has no problem in her life...shes very jolly....and also she has changed many apartments too but still the problem remains. She never had this problem in India....But at night she sleeps peacefully...I have called her to my house for some weeks....But what possible reason could that be? Is it some kind of paranormal thing?:confused

Changing countries and routines can be quite stressful. Also the "body clock" has to get used to a whole different pattern, as the time zone is so different from India to Canada. Stresses like that can play havoc with sleep patterns.
It may not be anything paranormal. Especially as she changed apartments a few times.
Is there anything else do you know, that might be worrying her? Such as money worries or something else? Or maybe is she lonely since she left her friends (and family?) in another country?
