Prayer Requests - Global Support, Working with Spirit

Hey everyone,

I couldn't find a prayer request category or even a thread, so I wanted to create one for those people who might need support, or who want to ask for support for those who are having difficulties. This could be for anything and everything, as well as discussion of the deeper dynamics of the power of the spoken word, working with spirit guides, and any impact from prayers.

Please feel free to share your prayers, questions, wisdom and experience with everyone!

Just some basics here: Stating an intention, like a prayer, works really well when stated out loud. If we are clear with our intention, the quicker and stronger the outcome is. The more internal conflict we have (i.e. don't feel what we're asking for is worthwhile), the results can be somewhat less than what we want. If we can actually state a prayer in a sing-song type of pattern, like the old catholic masses in latin, or like Bobbie McFerrin's version of the 23rd Psalm, then the effect is even stronger.

For prayers, speaking in a clear, commanding (not demanding), non-hesitant, even-tempered voice from our center works the best. Before even asking for something, get clear on our intent. We can become filled with gratitude for knowing that our intention becomes our outcome, being thankful for already receiving (or for others already receiving).

Knowing that our spirit guides are lovingly standing ready to assist us in all our endeavors, we can call on them to fill in the details of our prayers - we don't have to know every detail. In this way, we are like the customer at a restaurant, calling on the wait staff to help us fulfill our desire.

Just as an example:

"I call on the Earth Spirit, Christ Logos and all my guides, to send joy, clarity, wellness and integrity to all those affected by the earthquake/tsunamai in Japan."

Our soul's essence is joy, so sending this is like sending energy that can be used at the person's discretion. Clarity and integrity help with releasing conflict and being unified, and sending wellness works better than sending light. In fact, whenever we send light to someone, it acts like a catalyst. So if someone has cancer, you don't want to send light because the cancer would tend to grow, as much as pray for wellness or send energy which they could use at their discretion.

The Earth Spirit is the hostess of the planet, the energetic composite being that is the energetic counterpart to the physical planet. The Christ Logos is like the host of the planet, and it's energetic body is the Akashic grid that surrounds the planet. Calling on support from these 2 beings, and any of your guides in spirit, and they will assist you in any endeavor.

In physical matters such as money, engaging the pan realm can be very effective. In healing matters and assistance with death, the angelic realm can be most supportive. Knowing who to specifically call upon can be very helpful and more effective, just like calling on someone who has a job specialty. It might sound strange but their are certain beings, guides, that are better at performing certain tasks.

For example: "I call upon the angelic realm to assist the souls who have died in the earthquake/tsunamai, as well as anyone injured, physically or emotionally", is going to have a greater impact than calling on the pan realm for the same result.

Hey everyone,

The situation at the nuclear facility in Japan is severe enough to need some outside intervention, and they are in fact calling outside nuclear agencies for help now. If you feel so motivated, please offer some prayers toward the reactors and anyone involved - the leaders, workers, and even regular citizens. I'm still in touch with friends/student in Japan, but they aren't getting much real information as much as the bureaucratic two-step shuffle. Thanks!

I've been praying to the wrong spirit.. lol
If I only knew about a wonderful pan realm a few years ago... Excuse me for asking this; but what exactly is the pan realm?

Chris how do we pray to something like the Earth Spirit?

I believe the collective consciousness of the planet working together and helping each other to grow as a whole; is the ultimate lesson humanity needs to learn. It's just so important to help thy neighbour, as if they were part of your own family.

Is it possible for collective prayer to actually change the inevitable?

I pray that the forces of this world, humans, spirits, etc. will come together and provide the aid that those affected by the recent earthquake and tsunamis in Japan require. That no further catastrophies/tradgedies will come to pass, particularly that concerning the nuclear reactors, and that all ensuing negative aftermath of this particular disaster will be minimized, perhaps any positive aftermath emphasized.

Also, to those reading this to donate toward the recovery/relief effort.

Midnite - The Pan Realm includes those beings that are closely linked to the earth and physical matter and have no sense of doubt/fear like we humans do. They see us as the next highest beings in a spiritual hierarchy, just as we might view angels as the next highest step. They are driven more by instinct, meaning if they perceive something that we humans are doing that will benefit them and their realm, they will support us wholeheartedly. Pan realm beings include all manner of fairies, elves, gnomes, sprites, etc.

The Native Americans call the Earth Spirit the Great Spirit - it's the same thing. I would call on it just like you would call on any of your personal guides - with gratitude, love, and reverence, knowing that it, like all of our guides, stand ready to help us at our bidding. I gave an example of how to call on the Earth Spirit, and some tips on how to effectively pray.

There are certain immutable events that will happen because we either individually or collectively have asked for them. Prayer can be very effective in changing either the changeable events, or in affecting the timing and outcome of an immutable event (i.e. an earthquake is going to happen but is lessened, the Berlin wall falls quicker, etc).

Melchoir - I hear that. I call on the Earth Spirit and the Christ Logos to help shift the world consciousness, to become positively affected by the spirit of generosity, love and harmony of the Japanese people under such extreme conditions.

i have never had a prayer NOT work. ive prayed every night since being a little girl. i close my eyes and concentrate and then ask for forgiveness and give thanks then i ask for what id like to happen then bless myself. unusually i have found it hard to concentrate on my prayers in recent years but i know their still heard, even if all i can muster up is a thank you before going to sleep. i cannot sleep without saying them. anyway if anyone could say a prayer for me to help with the loss of my mum

I would like to learn more about all these different... "beings" that I could ask to pray to in order to more effectively make my prayers "happen."
