Default Help

Some sort of evil force is trying to destroy me. My life is not going as I want it to right now. I can't find a job. I keep going to interviews I'm not getting hired. I don't want to have to move back to toledo ohio but my money is low and I feel like I will have to in due time. Can somebody tell me whats causing my life to be like this. Bad luck has been happening to me for some time. I think this is a spiritual issue of some sort.

How can a person who has all these good intentions continue to suffer lack and poverty? I moved to dallas my goal to become a millionaire and start various non profit organizations. Nothing has fell into place for me. I just been taking hit after hit. I know that It's the choices I make but something is making me make these bad choices that destroys my life.

Bad, I always felt like I was the mistreated one of the family. My dad was an alcholic who always cussed at me and my siblings. I love my mom to death and I love my dad who had passed on along with my older brother. My older brother was murdered. I have had a lifetime of bad things happen to me and my family. I can't understand why because I'm a good person with good intentions

I moved down here to achieve financial success to take care of my family. It's like something doesn't want me to become a success.

miramb,

I first want to say, that your integrity is perfectly safe here and I really love to hear from you that you want to work on things to get them right.

I hope you are beginning to intent the things, that will make you a solid foundation.

There are many people that wouldn't do as good you are doing right now.
No matter what happens, I feel you always showed great strength so passing a job interview will be one of the smaller problems.

Are you following your own thoughts or do you want to make things in your family right, without regarding your own needs?
Which job are you for? How is you integrity in this one?

What are you personal interests, without regarding your family?

I want to break this generational curse that my family has of poverty. I want to do it for me first of all. Because, I know that I'm the only one who can do it. I know that once I become a millionaire that I will take care of my family and help them to create wealth for future generations.

I want this because, I feel like with everything that I have been through in my life I deserve to have prosperity. I deserve to live and have everything. I don't believe that we are here on earth to lack and struggle. I feel like if other people can be prosperous so shall I. So I came down here with a little bit of money. I didn't know anybody. I was doing good until I quit my job because I was tired of the atmosphere their.

The biggest thing I see with my life is I never got anybreaks. Everything that I have got I have had to earn it. It's like I just can't catch lucky breaks like other people. I just wish sometimes I could catch a financial break that would allow me to get a car, and set up my online bookstore. No matter how much I pray to god he never gives me any breaks like how other people get.

I get up everyday and I do my part taking action but, it's like no matter how hard I try I can't get to my goals. I don't want to go back to toledo so I'm thinking about going to a shelter. I have come to far to give up.

I'm more using my intuition here.

Do you have the underlying feeling of being a "failure"?

When things don't work it can be a hint that we are working on symptoms or on the wrong things, because if it would be the source, the problem would be done.

I feel like you want to work on overcoming the feeling of a "failure".
This might keep you struggling with materialistic things.

Do you have the feeling that you can get the love and attention and a feeling of satisfaction when you can solve the financial problems?

Can you think of coming to a point where you realize, that what you try doing doesn't solve the underlying issue and is not for the highest good for you and your family?

I feel like you are a good person.

I do feel that I will get everything I need when my financial situation is better. I feel like I'm a failure I feel exactly how you said I do.

Everysince I was young I have dreamed of owning million dollar corporations taking the money and starting non profit organizations to help people in the inner cities. I can't see how this would be bad for me and my family. I don't see how it would be bad for me I have seen these visions since my youth. I have read over 500 books on business, real estate, and the business mindset. This is my passion and, what I have a passion for.

I can see where me having money might cause different problems within the family. Jealousy, envy, and malice. I can see where my family might have some problems with that. I also can see the good that it will bring to my family too.

I don't feel like somebody elses problems should stop me living my dreams. I feel like you have take the good and the bad. Everything has a negative side to it. I can't let what's negative stop me from having whats positive.

If this isn't right for me then I don't know what is. This and music are my only things that I am passionate about.

I understand where you are coming from.

One of my closest friend thought also he will be happy.
He now finishes his degrees and already made much money/jobs, he has a job for sure in any business for investment banking in NYC, everything he does he wants to do with the best grades and he does.

It's more that he don't believe that his life is about something, so he wishes to erase that issue o feeling meaningless or in "emotional debt" with most efficiency. You know what I will say now, he's unhappier then before and most of all unhealthy.

I will not talk you out of earning sums of money, BUT I want you to stimulate to go deeper, than struggling from suffering to joy on the materialistic level. My own path will insist partially on business.

What did you want as a child?

I think your path might very well include to help people, but maybe in a different way - I'm sure what you'll come up in the end can be for other people inspiring.

I suggest you to put more awareness on things you currently do, to see them from different perspectives.

This could be a wake up call, suffering mostly is the peoples only spiritual teacher.

I see your maybe go for your inner child.

When a child wants to become an astronaut, he doesn't want to do routine works, writing papers or observing instruments, he's mostly in for the feeling of no gravity or seeing other planets etc.

So is it with your intention to war lots of money maybe, maybe your are just for the feeling you think it promises. That means you are right about the feelings, but could be wrong about the medium.

Maybe don't aim too high right now, just get a regular little job, manage your money sensibly, then move on in time to a better paid job....etc etc
That way maybe keeping steady and sure will help. One day big things might be able to grow out of small beginnings...on the other hand, maybe not. Use the same principles you would if you were company director and a millionaire already, and apply them to an ordinary simple life, and see what grows out of that.

I'm trying to get simple jobs but I'm not getting hired that's the problem. I know I want certain feelings that come with the money. The biggest thing I want is freedom. Freedom to do what I want, go where I want, spend my time doing what I want, to be able to buy what I want, to live where I want, to travel where i want, I equate that with having money. The most important thing I value is freedom. That's what I think money will bring me the most. I can live without the admiration and the thought of being a success. I can live without those things as long as, I got my freedom how I explained.

I just want to be able to do what I want to do with my life. I know that money can do that. Then it's another side of me that want's to show people how to make money so, they can have the same freedom that I want for my life. Even tho I want it for me, I also want it for others too. I feel like I could help others by being a example myself,of what life is like to live on your own terms. I just want to be happy. I feel like the way for me to be happy is to be able to do what I want with my life.

I know this feeling.

You should start doing intentions like:

Please, give me guidance towards my highest path and purpose, that I can easily understand. Thank You!

Show me my edges of my thinking-box. Thank You!

Please help me to see love in my life and to have relationships that serve my highest path and purpose. Thank You!

Help me to overcome my problems, I made consciously or unconsciously in my life. Thank You!

Intent, intent, intent, but without frustration, no matter what happens.

I'm going to be brutally honest here.

I think you real issues are that you have an unhealthy attitude towards wealth. Wealth does not equal happiness. My brother is a perfect example of that... he is just like my dad.... his entire life is was about money and wealth so he can retire by the age of 40 and do what he wants when he wants.... and he achieved it... guess what he said to me 2 nights ago. I don't give a **** about money anymore. Why? because his relationship (a relationship he chose based on money) has fallen apart. He realised that money does not buy you happiness or freedom. Love does and a purpose for getting up every morning.

I also think a lot of your fears about money are based on past lives as well. There is a lesson here for you to learn in this lifetime.

Also choose something you are passionate about that makes your heart sing.... remember when you do something you love as a career then you never work a day in your life... and its amazing how that translates into wealth.

Interesting. I was thinking strongly of past lives, but people mostly do not feel comfortable with that. Imaginary fight for imaginary survival mode etc.

This and music are the only passions that I have. I don't have any other passions. I had a passion when I was younger for basketball but by passion changed to passions I have now. Music is my biggest passion but I can't get the simple things I need to pursue my career. A car, some money coming in to help me to be where I need be to meet people.

I don't know what I did in my past lives but, in this life I need happiness. I need enjoyment. I want to enjoy my life by being able to do what I want with it. This feeling is very strong in my life. I want to live my life on my own terms and, I feel like this is what my soul is calling me to do. I feel like I'm missing something my soul is trying to tell me about what it's calling me to do. I know this already, I will never be completely happy until I can do with my life what I choose to do. Maybe money isn't the way but, what will allow me to go where I want, spend my time how I want, give to who I want, dress the way I want, and to live the type of lifestyle I want?

You can work on yourself and look with which new things you can come up.

You can try to achieve certain things and then to look if they make you happy.

Both are hard, but I think the first one is more awarding.

I'm not comparing you, it is just a illustration:
Think of how teenagers are before they grow up, regarding the statements above.

You're on the right track my friend!

You'll be amazed once you change your thought process and belief structure. Mountains with shift and oceans will part. You create your life now and the first part is recognising that perhaps all the good intentions you have may not be the right intentions. The suggestions given by sb are very good.

Also, you family may be very inherently negative. You will find negative people tend to follow quite a restricted lifestyle financially because they blame everything around them. But the power to create is within you as it is within everyone. They way to use it is to completely change your attitude, thoughts and beliefs. Some great things have happened since i have begun and im sure it will happen with you too.

This reminds me of religion. If you believe in christianity so much, than you will see no evidence to the contrary that it is not real, you will not believe this evidence, take it into account and you would most likely attack it, speak out against it etc.

If you believe that you create your own life then you see only those changes that make you feel at peace, that present oppurtunities for success, learning and happiness. Then when you see this attitude of grattitude in yourself, others may follow your example and ask you for the secret . You're also begin to see others who are struggling and you'll see your own self in them. The one who wasn't sure, the one with good intentions and wasn't progressing fast like they want.

Good Luck! I also suggest looking at the Most benevolent Outcomes thread we have on here. That ones great.

I agree with Frankmat on this completely. I understand where you are coming from completely. We see people living in poverty unhappy in our daily lives and we see rich people happy on tv... so naturally the solution for happiness seems to be wealth. However, my friend, as I said on your other thread this is not the case.

You mentioned freedom. I agree freedom does help because it allows a person to let go of all the things that make them unhappy-fear, guilt, anger-not material possesions (or lack of.)

When I was in Miami I met a man who felt completely free. The funny thing about him though, was that he was (and probably is still) homeless. He has been all over the country and even abroad. He worked for a little here and there to pay for bus fare but beyond that he spent his time exploring and meeting people. Yes, he only had as many possessions that he could carry on his back or bike but he did not feel like he lacked anything in life.

Abundance, freedom, happiness... It's just a mindset. There is nothing wrong with wanting to be a millionaire, of course, same with helping your family and starting a non-profit. The trick is to be happy regardless of whether you are able to attain these goals in life or not. Maybe you are supposed to learn to be happy with yourself before you can be happy with more? I'm not sure if you are appreciate the Bible or not, but as Yeshua/Jesus said: "It's easier to fit a camel through the eye of a needle than a rich man to go to heaven."

Take these words, and find Truth, Love, and Happiness first, and everything else will fall into place afterwards.

This is a beautiful post inconditus. And so true.

I myself lived in poverty in a foreign country for years. There were times when it was a daily battle for a bare survival. But how much did that enrich me! How much did I learn! What amazing people I met which I would have never met if I were well-off! When I look back, I can hardly believe that I actually survived it. And at the same time I stand in awe realizing what a great gift that was to experience such a life, what priceless experience that brought me. It taught me humility, it taught me a far greater compassion, it brought me knowledge, it helped me mature. I am truthfully thankful for everything life has given me.

And the most important thing I have learned in life: Never betray your own heart. Always follow your heart. It leads you, like a compass, to your best possible fulfillment. Only, sometimes we need to learn to distinguish between the voice of the heart and the voice of the ego.

And remember that you are never alone. Invisible hands lead each and everyone of us all the time, provided we do not close our heart to that help. And even if the help is not always tangible, it is always there.

Just "knock" and ask. Have faith but surrender your life to God.

Merrick
