Goodluck on getting your readings started - I did the same thing (offer free readings on the forum).

Another thing that might work is offer readings on ebay? I just got one bid on a reading the other day.

Another thing you might want to look into...

You can advertise yourself when you make a post on the forum, and any old posts will show up if you edit your signature...

Go User CP -> Edit Signature and put your site and what you do on it.

I did get traffic doing this myself.

Also a third thing that I have been doing is I got business cards and I tell people I meet what I do. also did a few group readings to get exposure and you can do free readings on blogtalkradio.com you can start a radio show for free of charge.

I'd like to express my gratitude to all of the "practice" clients who honored me by asking for a reading, and for the excellent feedback and testimonials I've received! I’m now taking clients at an Introductory Rate for members of the Pavlina Forum. Specifically, I'll be offering 30 minute and 45 minute readings to the general public at the rates of $75 and $95, respectively. However, for a limited number of members here, my introductory rate will be a 30 minute reading for $25, or a 45 minute reading for $35 - a savings of approximately 66%!

I’ve also decided to include an audio recording designed to balance the chakra energies for those who book a reading at this time. I’m not sure how long I’ll run the introductory rate special, so let me know if you’re interested, and we’ll get your session scheduled.
