Spiritual guides not telling the whole thing?

Hi,

While I was doing the "discover your life purpose in 20 minutes" exercise, I felt the urge to medite. The meditation rapidly led me to discuss with my spiritual guides. I know they have a certain of talking to me, but this time, it's worst than ever. Bad in the sense that they often give me some answers, but won't tell me other things.

This time, they basicly showed me a path, which is really gracefull, and I know is in accordance with what I'm here for, they also said to me that I didn't have to bother, because I was heading the right way, and that they know I will continue in the right way. What they told me to do was to enjoy the ongoing journey, and that everything would take care of itself. I then asked them why they wouldn't tell me, since all is already chosen, why could they not tell me. And all I received was a compassionate smile.

I will continue my journey whatever happen, but is it common to have this kind of answer from spiritual guides?

Assuming I'm reading you right - if you knew what was coming, wouldn't that make the journey at least a little dull?

When you were a kid did you really want to know what your parents got your for Christmas before Christmas day?
If you knew everything there would be no true build up, excitement, or the plethora of emotions that you would experience or may need to experience to truly accomplish you destiny. Everything would be expected. Would you rather experience the true joy from surprise or the fake squeals you did, when you already snuck a look and knew what it was already, just to please your parents.

Well, I think everyone agrees, and I think tou're right! But then something else pops in my head. Why can some people know what their mission is and what they have to do. Is it that their life is not as well traced as mine, or that I'm special, or that's the way it was intended for me, and for them? Who decides who can know? Or am I heading in the wrong direction with these supposition?

I've a similiar situation !

They won't tell me anything, I just get hints because I'm curious and I use different strategies. It's like they want to keep it a secret.

I suspect it is because some people are very purpose driven, if they know exactly their purpose they would dive in it very blindly.

I'm not sure if it was my last incarnation, but I died because I was so ambitioned.
I sacrificed my life, fighting an overwhelming enemy, so to give others the chance to escape.

A purpose with the combination with taking other things not so seriously (like the value of your own life) or just to foucs on the purpose can make you blind.

I have a very strong, almost warrior like sense for purpose since my childhood.

I suspect I should learn to value life itself first, before they let me know more.

I just can speak from me, don't know if that makes sense to you.

Now, at a time like this where you feel like you don't have all the answers, stop and consider something: why not make your own answers? Perhaps your guides' point is to stop relying specifically on their word and make your own steps to your future.
