Default Consciousness Shift - What's Going on with Everyone - Questions and Support

This is a supportive thread to the one that Pyrogen started titled "What is going on with everyone". I just thought it would be helpful to create a dedicated thread for questions and support about the current shift that is happening, so that readers could more easily identify the topic. All the credit goes to Pyrogen for starting the topic, the questions and discussion! Thank you Pyrogen!!

Pyrogen was asking what was going on with everyone, because it seems like so many people are acting differently - shifting in awareness, getting irritated/frustrated more easily, acting out, etc.

From Pyrogen:
Quote:
There is something major going on - practically everyone I know who is on the spiritual or energetic side of things, has either been a little fried around the edges, or is having some kind of major shifts. Some of us seem to be getting massive downloads or energy changes. Some of us just seem to be having massive changes, period.

And a lot of the ones who are only slightly aware, but just enough, seem to be crabby, bitchy, or sick.

What's going on?

Something in the water?

We have talked about this in the "What's going on with Everyone" and the "Akashic Records" threads. And here's my experience for what it's worth, some of which is from the Akashic Records:

From the center of Creation, bands of various lengths of energy emanate out. By the time they reach Earth, they can be very small (hours), or very long (1,000 years). Every 13,000 years collective human consciousness shifts back and forth, from seperation to unification and back again. The current shift toward unification started happening 500 years ago, and the evidence was the Renaissance. We're now in the middle, or the apex, of a 1,000 year thick wave of energy that is helping shift the consciousness on the planet. We started a new phase of this back in December.

What does that mean in practical terms? Imagine getting constantly bombarded by energy that essentially is helping us to wake up and make the transition into collective unification. If we were getting a magnitude of 1 say 20 years ago, we're at 1000 now. This energy is exciting our consciousness, forcing us to see ourselves, so everything is getting amplified right now. If we're not more conscious, it can almost feel like we're in a dream sometimes, or at least going in and out of a dream.

What does that look like? People who are in love are really in love like crazy - I'm watching several relationships like this. If we're feeling some internal conflict (i.e. judgment, guilt, shame, self-negation) and don't want to own it, then every little irritation is bringing it up to be completed, and we might be projecting onto others quite a bit. It can look like PMS to the nth degree! If we're synchronized internally, we might be manifesting really well right now - I know several people like this too.

So what do we do? As I was told years ago, "Knowing doesn't make you immune". Everyone is going through their own version of this right now.
  • So the first step is knowing what's happening right now - then we can be more conscious, track ourselves, and not taking things personally.
  • Finding ourselves in similar-minded company is very important right now, otherwise we can feel like our energy is getting drained and we get foggy. Watch what happens when you're with someone who has a lot of conflict, either in person, phone or even online.
  • Cleaning our own internal house, looking to see if anything is incomplete (i.e. values, feelings, core beliefs, experiences, possessions, etc) and finding a way to complete it would be really helpful. If there is something that we want to do or be, now is the time. If we have any leftover issues from our birth family, now is the time to release them.
  • Slowing down would help because we can watch ourselves and others more easily without judging.
  • Calling on our spirit guides for regular help works too. Every morning/evening giving calling on them in specific ways and giving thanks.
  • Having some kind of regular practice to help us focus and use chi would be helpful too (ie. tai chi, chi qong, yogic techniques, meditation, etc).
  • Recognize, actively acknowledge that everything is sacred, divine - every person, every object. The more we have conflict, the more we judge, the more we project onto others. You are god in a human form, and nothing has power over you unless you want it to.

Please feel free to share your questions and wisdom with everyone, as this seems to be affecting everyone to varying degrees, and we all seem to have questions and direct experience of this. Thank you for sharing!

I'm getting a lot of personal emails asking all kinds of questions - thanks everyone. Let me clarify what happens to us to see if this doesn't answer some questions.

When we have unresolved conflict, we tend to hold it in our soul's etheric body and our body's etheric body. All our past life memories are held in our soul's etheric body, and all the current life issues are held in our body's etheric body. If we hold onto conflict long enough (i.e. self-negating behavior, judgments, unresolved trauma, limiting core beliefs, etc), then it tends to show up in our physical body. Depending on the nature of our conflict, our genetics, and our inclinations from our ego/personality, including other lives, we can then create stress, disease, etc which shows up in certain ways. This could include procrastination, rejection, blame, guilt, love/hatred, the list goes on.

Now when we try to manifest anything, we use our combined body-soul energy. If we have a lot of conflict, then we tend to attract/create our conflict more than our heart's desire.

Why is that? Think of a stained glass window as a representation of conflict held in our etheric bodies. When sunlight (our energy) pours through the window (our energetic bodies), what gets reflected, or rather filtered through, is the same image that is in the window. An even better analogy is thinking of watching a movie in a movie theater. We only see what has been imprinted on the film and is being projected on a blank screen.

In our personal lives, what we are perceiving in the world is still colored/flavored by our conflict. Our incoming perception is biased, then we can project outward onto others based on our own internal conflict. The clearer we are internally, the more aligned we are with ourselves, then we stop projecting our incomplete conflict onto the world around us. The energy between our body and soul is not blocked anymore, so instead of re-creating our conflicts out into the world to help us see ourselves and resolve them, we are able to create/attract our real heart's desire.

More PM's keep coming so here is some more info that might help everyone share more.

Sometimes we don't honor ourselves, and that takes the form of over-riding who we are, what our needs are, which at some point our body-mind can then act like a kid who is throwing a temper tantrum. I use the term body-mind because they are so intertwined - our thoughts and feelings affect our bodies (i.e. feeling depressed we hunch over), just like our bodies affects our feelings and thoughts (i.e. standing up straight it's difficult to feel depressed).

When we find ways to listen to ourselves and follow through with what we need, like a parent listening to our child's needs, then a deep trust develops between body and soul. If we don't listen to our deeper needs, then a fight can ensue, just like a contentious marriage where the parents are bickering with each other, or where the children are shouting and acting out to their parents.

Loving ourselves, and specifically acknowledging our bodies and our deep needs, even more than our parents loved us, leads to a deep relaxation and contentment as our needs our fulfilled. Then in this deep dance/marriage between body and soul, we start releasing old resentments, anger, sadness, etc, and start having a more conscious, effortless life.

Right now, if we aren't used to expressing ourselves in our bodies in a conscious, grounded way, we can be wanting to act out in all kinds of ways. I know several clients/relatives/friends who are acting out like never before - it's like the dam has burst and all their wildest fantasies are now pouring out wanting to be fulfilled. Can anyone relate to this? And it could be anything that we have previously blocked till now - dreams of wealth, wild sexual experiences, amazing career changes, deep loving relationships - all kinds of desires are coming out wanting to be completed like never before.

So finding ways to express in our bodies, especially if we tend to not be emotional, or we tend to be very mental - it will really help. Hope that helps.

I'm preparing for a big shift -- got an extremely high-level mentor lined up to coach me in it and a bunch of super-supportive folks around me. I'm intending major expansion in a few areas of my life -- Spring cleaning for my spirit!

Great for you Angela! In my perspective, no one is here to make this journey alone. We all have something to contribute. It's important to know our strengths and where we need support, then reach out and invite others to join our party! Go Spring Cleaning!

Congratulations Angela!

For my part I'm really confused since 2-3 months now...

Bit of identity crisis, I don't know if I'm more a logical or a creative person or what my abillities are in general, but another part thinks that is normal for people in my age.

My guides don't give me clear answers, I'm getting signs to go Australia, but what the heck should I do without a degree/perspective there

Just in case someone else feels alone with purpose turbulences

Happy consciousness !

Chris, thank you so much for creating this thread.

This is what I've observed in myself, and in others, and it fits very much with what you are describing.

Me:

First off, I don't know how much is the environment and energy and how much is the fact that 1) I have drastically changed my diet (the very fact I feel compelled to, though, could be energy change), largely to paleo, and 2)
the fact that I'm on an anti-depressant (for Seasonal Affect Disorder) that is notorious for being a social lubricant. But I feel like the real ME. It doesn't feel like an overlay. It feels like the depressed, introverted self was the overlay.

I find I am getting more honest. Major things have unblocked for me, many major positive changes. I find I just come out and say things to people and I'm socially a hell of a lot more assertive. I had somebody comment at school a few weeks ago (before my anti-depressant even had a chance to take effect) "What? You're NOT SHY!!". And at a party I was at yesterday, I was the farthest thing from shy.

I've experienced energetic changes, too. My lowest three chakras have gone mad.

I am learning quickly and like crazy. When people tell me about changes they've made, I absorb this and integrate it into my programming. I pick up changes others have made *quickly* and start integrating them.

I also feel an energetic link to my (physically unmanifested) mate out there in the universe. This has been in the last few days, since someone told me about their experience of this kind of thing. But now I associate colors, sounds, sights, scents with her. How do you feel about this kind of thing? I don't feel alone, as long as I focus on this link, and I just enjoy myself in the meantime and get my life ready for her.

I realize that I may trample on people at times, at the moment. I'm far more assertive and expressive than I've been in the past. I'll learn to moderate it when it's appropriate.

I feel I've also overcome my tendency to be limerent. I don't feel love is a scarce commodity and my sexuality isn't something I bottle up, waiting for the right person to come along and uncork. I am just expressive, period, and I don't hold it all back then dump it on one person. I can be a sexual being without sleeping with every person, if I don't care to do that.

Others:

1. YES. Acting out. If they were reflective introverts before, they're becoming aggressive extraverts. People are experimenting with new selves. I've seen this among several people now. I am going easy on people and not expecting too much of them during this time; it's an exercise in letting go and meeting my own needs.

2. People with very severely blocked energy are staying pretty much the same and in some cases are deeply depressed and spiralling deeper.

G'day Chris

One thing i like to add that i've found recently too while counselling friends is that friendships are becoming kind of redundent.

Not all of them, but theres so much inner stuff going on that relationships you used to have with people shifted to a point where friends you used to have don't seem so important to you anymore.

I know i last year i started thinking about having friends who i enjoyed being around and could talk with and laugh with and just have a good time. But also have those things we all like in a friend like trust and compassion and loyalty.

I see a lot now everywhere around me that others are seeing the same thing. Friends weren't like they used to be.

I found this interesting. Have you guys seen this too?

YES, if I understand what you are saying.

In many cases, old friendships are going by the wayside. And in some cases, some of us are getting a new social life that we never had before.

The flip side:

I used to identify myself as being this lone weirdo, and nobody at all was like me... yadda, yadda, yadda.

But that's changed in recent months. Recently I've identified my "soul tribe"... a group of people with whom I have several common interests and a similar mindset. I have told a few people now that they were part of my "soul tribe", and probably confused the heck out of them, but I'll post a blog entry about this which explains everything. I'm able to spot now - almost immediately - when someone is this "vibration" for lack of a better term.

One aspect of the "soul tribe" is that we encourage each other's creative growth (and even professional growth) in huge ways, and in some cases, each other's spiritual growth.

I can just be myself and *breathe* around these people. They inspire me, and hopefully, I inspire them.

One thing that's happened is that as my life has grown more unified, I find I am with some member of my soul tribe at all times - my life is not compartmentalized into "school friends", "work friends", "hobby friends", etc - in many cases, they're the same people! I am surrounded all the time by people I enjoy, whether at school, when I'm out in the world or just hanging out online.

When I'm out in the full time work world, I'll probably be working with the same mindset of people, if not some of the very same people.

I've met a few people outside of this core group recently and had the uncanny experience that we had friends in common... or that I would have met them eventually, anyway!

I have clicked with a few people now like we were old friends - and we're able to talk about anything and everything. The quality of my friendships is much better than it's ever been in my life.

In the last few months, I've been in a place of increasing social abundance. What I need, has been there. I have made virtually *zero* effort toward finding these friends; we've just all sort of come together organically.

We're all highly compatible with each other in terms of interests and attitudes. I imagine I could even potentially date at least a few or more of them and be compatible, if the other factors happened to be in favor.

The flip side of this is, I find I'm just not clicking on all cylinders with some of my older friends... the ones who are not going forward in their lives, do not make connections, or who have severely blocked energy... some seem to just be kind of circling the drain, and I find I don't really have much to offer these friendships anymore. There's nothing I can do for these people, and nothing they can do for me.

Hi Pyrogen!

Wowsa! what an experience we're all going through! So much shifting. Im lovin' it!

I'd also like to mention here that we come to the opposites again or the polarity or whatever we call it. How we're either surrendering friendships or creating new ones, more compatible ones. It feels a bit like an upgrade or a human slap in the face and kick up the arse! Wake up to yourself and see what is for your highest good! What is making you happy!

Im finding im becoming almost invisible to once really great friends. Just as an example, My friend who is turning 18 is having a party and she has sent invites to many people. One of which is a good friend of mine also, but more like aquaintences for the birthday girl. She asked me if i was going and i said i wasn't invited lol. Im not upset i recognise it means it's time for a change and a shift here and there. Im happy though that i know it's a shift and not some evil little nasty cruel intentioned, well planned scheme hahaha.

Good on you though Pyrogen! i really love your posts

Love Jeremy. xxxxxxxx

Yep, it would seem there are many people that feel the same way. I have been searching around for local groups or anywhere that I can connect with people on the same wavelength. I have many 'friends' but, to be honest, none really I would like to spend a lot of time with at the moment as I find their negativity draining... so much of what I have read, including in a post I started on awakening on another thread has encouraged me that I will find people in my area (or not to far away) to have meaningful conversations with.. exciting, stimulating dialogue!!!!... maybe one or two will play guitar

I've found most of my friends just by radiating my real self and doing things I love. Maybe you will, too.

This has been my experience with real life friends as well. I just can't be around them that much, as they all want to complain or dump some load of their own crap on me, and I've moved past that. I have just gotten a new phone number and I am very careful who I give it out to.

I want to move towards the friends I have already manifested, who I feel free to be myself around, and who listen to me, and are on the same wavelength...even if it is just one person for now. I'd rather one person who is like this than a group of people who just complain and pigeon-hole me.

I can testify that Pyrogen came to a party at my house this past weekend, and fit right in.

Yes, older relationships are being reconfigured, and new ones are springing up. Not all old ones are being cast off, though; I'm finding some are improving or simply changing in interesting ways.

My relationships with my kids are improving, which makes me very happy, even though sometimes it's still difficult for us all to get along.

This. I'm moving away from my negative friends to a very large extent.

Regarding being able to just be yourself around your friends... this has been increasing. I think you'll find this as you start just simply being courageously yourself at all costs, and organizing your life so that you can live holistically.

I'm moving toward a more unified, holistic life - most people live fragmented, compartmentalized lives. "These are my work friends, these are my school friends, this is my mate". It's especially easy as a single to live a holistic life, since I don't have to prioritize any of my people over any other of my people. I'm also always able to do things I want to do, since I enjoy my projects at school and my internship projects.

Interestingly enough, many of the people at Curious' party, I might have met them eventually anyway because of mutual friendships. It was downright uncanny - but not too surprising given the way things have evolved in the last few months.

This "holistic life" thing is probably what most people want to move toward, and I wouldn't be surprised to hear more people moving in this direction.

And Curious:

I wonder if the extent of feeling "shaken up" has to do with the extent to which the person had been blocked to begin with? Though I do notice on the forum, you've changed a little yourself and are one of the people I am observing to be turning over a new leaf, so I'm not surprised if you're feeling it too. BTW, at the party you were the very picture of composure and elegance.

I suppose this means we will get fatter and more "white trash / ghetto", too.

Oh, I have been, but there was one person I have let go of who would not let me be me. I know it was him because of the difference I feel when I am around my other new friend (who took all the photos of me for my av) and how free I am to be myself around him.

I think although it has to do with you allowing yourself to be yourself, external influences can be a factor as well, especially if they are actively trying to suppress you in some way and mold you to how they want you to be.

That can make it harder when a person isn't accepting themselves and therefore does not accept the people around them the way they are. As we all know, there are some men in the world who think women 'should' be a certain way, and if they aren't that way they will try and suppress them...usually when they feel threatened in some way.

Default Preparing for something

Over the last 5 years i have been experiencing a shift in my awareness. The last 2 years were particularly intense.
For further explanation see Pregnancy, Life and Death (Warning) post
Since having my daughter, who is three months today. Time relative to my current reality.
I have experienced a speeding up of my thoughts and energy bursts that have manifested in 'spring cleaning' my environment and discussing the universe with one particular friend throughout the night, until 7 or 8 in the morning, on some occasions.

Although I have disconnected from many 'superficial' friends during the last couple of years, I have strengthened other relationships and am starting to establish new friendships.
Here, in the UK, birds have been awake and communicating with each other at night - something I have never encountered before. They start just after midnight and continue for a few hours.

A strange reconnection
When I was 7 years old i moved next door to a girl who was just 3 days older than me, whose middle name is the same as my first name. We became the best of friends and as we grew and went our separate ways, we would lose touch. However we reconnected for our 17th birthdays (summer solstice '02) and again at my 21st birthday (summer solstice '06). Since then we superficially chatted on a social networking site in '09 after my son passed on. I hadn't thought of her in over a year, despite moving back to the city we met in.
At the beginning of this year new neighbors moved in next door and totally out of nowhere i decided to introduce myself. When the front door opened to reveal my childhood friend standing there, i couldn't do anything but throw my arms around her and scream like we were 7 again! It's the craziest, most awesome thing. After 18 years, we end up living next door to each other again.

I have felt the power of the universe within me recently. I am compelled to 'let go'. I also had a moment with a friend where there was 'no time'. We both felt it and it was euphoric.

Does EFT help with releasing the pent up negative emotions from past issues( seemingly minor ones)? I feel i'm not able to suppress them anymore neither am i able to completely let go of them. It's depressing.

I've found that it does...but you do need to actually let yourself feel them first, to be able to release them. I am living with an EFT practitioner at the moment, so she has taught me a few things about it and I've been using it all week, which has brought up some stuff from the past, and left me feeling much calmer.

Hi guys

Another thing i've been noticing is a dramatic increase in psychic or intuitive ability. Im getting a ridiculous amount of visions, which is all effortless - AND they're coming true and being validated as correct.

To be honest im a bit over the shock of it now, it;s been happening so much. Not just a vision or two everyday. Im talking something every hour or whatever lol. It's craaaaaaazy.

Anyone else getting a boost in this departnment?

Not so much, but what I have a boost in is *energy*; my qi is bigger than it's ever been. My mom and a friend both do qi gong and could verify this.

Pyrogen - You're welcome, although you really started the thread, so thank you!

Being honest, direct, fully feeling our emotions without getting attached to them, releasing the past, being conscious of how our thoughts/emotions affect our reality, being conscious of our words - all of this is very important right now. If we don't want to see ourselves and have some major conflict, then this transformation can feel really tough. If we let go of any judgements about ourselves/others, then even if we have conflict, it can transform more effortlessly and not take very long.

Jeremy - Pyrogen is spot on when she discusses what she calls a "soul tribe". Let me use a music analogy. Let's say our soul naturally resonates at the note of G natural, but because we have some internal conflict, we are currently resonating at a B flat. We attract according to our resonance. Friends that we used to have when we had more conflict and less clarity (B flat), will seem less attractive and we'll have less in common, the more we naturally resonate at our innate frequency by being ourselves (G natural). Then we emanate this all the time, meaning we can meet/connect with others anywhere, anytime, and we find ourselves with intimate connections.

We just had a spiritual group gathering on Sunday, and the intuitive insights were abounding - especially for one person who is usually the "quiet" one. I've always known her to be intuitive for the past 20 years, but she had an incident happen as a child where she predicted her dads death and when it happened she blamed herself and shut down. Now she's letting herself come out again! So yes, especially if we're around like souls, or feeling like we can fully be ourselves, the insights/visions/intuition can really take off!

MaGrimm - It's amazing how synchronous our lives can become when we stop struggling with ourselves and projecting onto others! What a great story.

Whitelotus - There are all kinds of techniques that can work, and really it's more about our willingness to complete than about a technique. You personally might want to try something that let's you feel your emotions more, like movement and expression, something that gets your energy moving. Methods like Holotropic Breathwork can allow us to take in a lot of energy and shift rapidly, also Hypnotherapy. The great part about feeling our emotions and letting them go, is that we can shift from a reaction to a response, meaning we don't repeat life anymore. You can feel differently. You can do this! Let us know how it goes.

Everyone - OldDeadWood mentioned about living in a city. Cities are going to be some of the most difficult places to live with this transformation, because we can get so affected by everyone around us. It's like walking into a sanitarium or an Alzheimers unit, it takes more clarity. If you're living in a city, please find like-minded, supportive, less conflicted souls to be around to support yourself and each other on this journey.

Releasing the Past - We all have places in our lives where we can hold onto the past (i.e. regret, guilt, anger, sadness, etc). Finding ways to forgive ourselves can be really important because it can be the lynchpin holding everything back from shifting. If we want to make a more effortless shift, if we realize that the present moment is the most important thing, then releasing any of our past issues becomes essential. We might want to make a list of anywhere we are holding onto the past and find ways to complete now.

Lately I've really just had the desire to reconnect with the earth and live symbiotically with the land...sort of like a modern monk...chopping wood, carrying water.

I'm moving toward being the change I want to see in the world but feel disheartened by what I see at times. Wal-mart, fast food, wastefulness and people living like robots (going to work every day at some insurance company in their giant SUV that carries exactly one person on a 30-mile commute each way)...sigh.

I feel like the main "system" we're living in right now is so uninspiring. I'm about to make huge changes in my way of living. Permaculture, humanure, preserving food, barter, sharing big meals with friends, sustainable shelter, and living with as little money as possible are all inspiring concepts to me and what I'm moving toward.

I've been headed down this road in my head for a while, but it's at the point where I'm making larger shifts toward my desires - I'm looking for a plot of land right now to begin the next leg of my journey.

Gives me some hope for finding a partner because I've pretty effortlessly found my soul tribe and they seem to be coming to *me*.

I'm high-compatibility with all of these people, though some are more compatible than others.

Living in Colorado, I know many people who want to live conscious, sustainable lives, including creating communities. We have major support for solar and wind power, electric cars, organic food, every kind of health/healing modality you can name. Most people do yoga like working out.

If we have a vision of who we want to be and how we want to live, I say embody that as much as we can. If we want to live in conscious community off the grid - great. If we want to make millions of dollars to help others - that's great too.

The main thing is that we are living from a stance of empowerment and not fear. I know one person who wants to hoard food and water for when times might get tough. What he doesn't realize is that his fear will create bigger problems than the food/water issues. If he can do it from a stance of abundance and wanting to be a resource for others, no problem because there is no conflict.

Our thoughts/feelings are really having an impact on our reality right now. I recommend getting very clear on our intentions for whatever we are doing. Is it fear based, or inspired? Don't make major decisions based on fear. Get to the root of what the issue is, resolve it, then make a more conscious choice.

I've got a question for you, ChrisL. Generally, the people who participate in the stevepavlina forums are pursuing - in one way or another - personal growth, healing, and spiritual evolution. Right now, as your inner vision tells it, we are experiencing a great increase of evolutionary energy on Earth.

Some people have specifically been exploring the application of spirit or chi or qi (or whatever term) to the healing of people's physical, emotional, energetic, or mental disorders or maladies. World over, there are probably millions of people who are doing this through approaches like Reiki, Therapeutic Touch, qigong, shamanism, and personal-but-nameless methods. I'm one of these people, having gotten my start through meditation practices and Reiki attunement, etc.

I've been in touch with people who are personally involved with these healing methods and have also been taking stock of the progress various groups and numerous individuals are making, in terms of effectiveness. It has been a slow progress, with many individuals seeming to remain (as one expert puts it) at "entry level" - able to achieve (or be the conduit for) a certain degree of results, but not advanced results. In particular, I'm speaking of physical healing via spiritual means.

Of course, down through history and into modern times there have always been a relatively few individuals who are remarkable healers (in the vein of "psychic surgery" or other miracles).

Yet so many people on these paths seem to have hit brick walls. Or maybe a better way of putting it is that they've wound up on a seemingly endless plateau and unable to ascend higher. Despite well-defined and well-aligned intentions.

But I'm wondering if we are entering a time when the progress of healers employing spiritual or "energetic" means will be more rapid.
