Hey everyone. I came up with an idea for a gathering place for people to go to help develop their intuitive reading skills by practicing on each other. I jumped onto the forums to see if there was anything else already like it around here, and I found out that yeah, there is but I had also come up with some distinctions which would justify creating another thread with my version.

The first component is like the "Read the energy of the person above you game" thread with straightforward reading other people through text. Another though is for this to be a network connecting people to give each other practice readings through other media. These are beginner-level, in person, phone/video chat, or instant message readings one on one. Or, as inspired by Bing's description of Erin's intuitive training program, have it be a one on one reading with the reader flanked by other readers listening along, with whom they can later compare notes on the same "client".

So the way it works is whoever wants to practice reading leaves a request for a client, then they get matched up with someone willing to be read. If they want, it can be quick and simple like the Read the energy thread, and they just quickly post a text reading. Or it can be longer and more formalized and be over instant message, phone/Skype/free internet phone/video chat, or in person if such an arrangement can be made.

Recording video and phone/internet phone readings would also be a good way to show the rest of us in the network what a reading looks like, even if it is beginners doing it.

Like the "Read the energy" thread, this is a gathering for people who want practice. I figure there's enough information readily available for people to at least get started, and I'm hoping to help provide an outlet for those who are itching for experience but don't feel they readily have an outlet.

In addition to the "clients" being Steve Pavlina forum goers, I know that this network could be a great place for us to pool our resources for fresh candidates that we could invite in from our own lives, for example people inviting friends and family to volunteer to be read here by everyone. That way we have a steady and expanded supply of fresh subjects for readings, and we can sort of keep our egos out of the equation by not having prior experience with the person.

Text! As in the same thing that is on the Read the energy thread, reading a person through the text they post on the forums, their name, etc.

i like the readings done through text or in person. Now that i would have much of a problem with the phone stuff, i just don't like it lol.

And to clarify my giggle. The chakra sb was refering to was your root/base chakra. But he said you had a big bottom chakra and the way i read it at first just sounded like he said you had a large rear. lol. if you get that?

I'd say what I'd like commenting on more than anything is the networking/matching idea of there being a place for beginning psychic readers and clients to be matched up.

And also, feel free to participate in this idea!

Bottom chakra = root chakra was my first guess, but I dismissed it cause I'm not used to identifying myself with security and stability. But I guess the past few days I have been working on those issues and feeling better. But yes, I concur with the lol thank you and what a way with words sb.

When considering a chakra, think also of the colour and the number associated with it! Red can be a very passionate colour. Red could mean your angry or have an angry disposition. Red could mean strength or war or even love in some circumstances. Red could mean danger. Could also mean your hot

Red could mean you want to be seen and heard and not forgotten in the background. Red wants to grab your attention, wants to be fast.

The number 1 could mean your very goal oriented, ambitious, a good leader, inventive courageous. It could symbolise new beginnings and great potential for success.

It could also mean your stubborn, egotistical impatient, aggressive, demanding, selfish, very concerned wiith material appearance etc.

If you indentifiy with many of these, then i wouldn't be surprised your root chakra is huge!

To be honest, i think you have a lot of potential for success good on ya buddy!

Also, some time this year im going to start a readings page on here. I have read that Erin did at least 100 readings before she turned pro. I think i'll do the same.

I think of this thread (and the non-forum related spinoff I want to make from it) as a reading page for everyone, like a personals ad page or a dating site (metaphorically) where someone who wants to give a reading lets us all know they're looking for a match to read.

you are correct, meaning that you have a "big chakra" doesn't just imply that you are just on the positive effects.

I actually saw you pushing a big red ball through the forest.
It looked a bit like you would put yourself some efforts in the way that are right now too big or a plain "mental construct" that isn't in resonance with your inner goals.

And I'm not sure but it's possible that you have a bit "digestic" problems right now.

Sorry, if I'm not serious all the time, but my readings depend on my mood
