Lucid Scream

lucid-dreaming The dream world can help the real world, they can work hand-in-hand. Sometimes real life can be f”"king confusing; trying to build a business while still working for someone else. All while trying to find a place to live (staying in a hotel right now), always worried if there will be a enough money to do what I need to do. Sometimes I need to just cry or scream!!! Not the crying type, screaming would be nice…just to let everything out. It was hard to just scream, there is either too many people around or there is never a right moment. Even staying at the hotel, I did not want to scream (did not want to scare everyone). Would have been nice to live in the country for a few moments just to let a big scream out, but I couldn’t.

This is where my dreaming comes in. I knew that the next time I went to sleep that was the best time to scream (in my dreams). I planned it for the whole day. I wanted to scream so loud that my eye’s would pop out of my face like they do in those cartoons. I imagined looking in the mirror while this happened, so I knew it worked. If my eye’s weren’t pooping out of my head and my hair wasn’t jumping out of my head, then I was not really screaming. I needed to let it out! Well I finally fell asleep and there I was in my dream and there was my chance. I knew I was dreaming because it happens to me a lot. I was standing in a room, I ask for my mirror and it appeared like magic. I was ready for the scream, I was going to scream so loud that my wife would hear me and wake me up!! I was ready…it was on!! I screamed so loud that that i could feel my body shake, like an earthquake, my eye’s felt like they were popping out of my head and at that moment that’s when my wife woke me up. John, are you alright? John are you alright? I said “yes, I am fine, never felt better.” I asked her if she heard me yell. She said “I could hear you moaning and you were struggling. Are you sure you are alright?” I said yes and it felt good and I felt good the next day. I felt a huge sense of relief and felt a lot better for just letting it out. Lucid Scream

Ah yes, I know what you mean with needing to scream but just never being in the right place with the right time needed to just let it all out.

I have also been hoping to let out a world shaking scream in a dream, but for me it can't be in front of a mirror. I want to stand at a rocky edge with natural surroundings and then scream with so much power that I actually see mountains shaking, huge flocks of birds shooting from the trees and the very clouds departing with the force. I want to feel any evils tearing away from my very soul and to feel the end result.

In yet another, I want to scream in a city and, as bad as it may sound in some cases, literally wipe it away with the power, eliminating the stress and pollutions.

In fact, I've lost touch with my lucid dream priorities lately with how I'm now having an even harder time becoming lucid and then keeping in that state when I make it. Maybe I'll make the scream my priority for now. My need for it will probably help me take care of it, restoring awareness.

Edit: Looking at my avatar, it makes me think it wouldn't be a bad idea to stand / float within the sea and scream so dominantly to part the water. : P

Hahaha that's a really great story in the op. I almost felt the satisfaction and release just from reading it. Great use of lucid dreaming! Like MM, I'm curious about what that must feel like.

My next dream I think I will go back into medieval times and do some Jousting. Can't wait!!

Once you've finished, bring some of the medieval folk back to the future and spread just a touch of craziness.

a dragon from the Merlin days. That would mess with the world pretty good. Why not add a few more problems hehe!!!

You know what I think would be fun? A little bit like a certain movie, you could take a casual stroll into one of the museums and without anybody expecting a thing, bring it all to life!

Might want to keep those T-Rex bones on a leash, mind you.
