Default Prophetic Dreaming for Fun and Profit

Had a prophetic dream! Need advice.

I remembered a dream when I woke up yesterday morning because it was just so... weird. When I saw how the dream events correlated with what happened in real life later that night, I was delighted!

My dream was that I was in a hotel room with a male friend. I am not sexually attracted to him and don't think about him often, so it was strange for me to be dreaming about this particular person. The dream was not sexual; we were just hanging out in the room. The weird part was that one of his hands was in the shape of an animal hoof, which he was immersing into a glass of water.

-- SO -- the next evening -- in real life -- a girlfriend calls me and asks if I can do a stand-up comedy gig. With us on the gig is the male friend I dreamed about. We have to travel to the gig which is in a small town called Elk River.

As the solution to this rebus-like dream dawned on me, I felt really happy. The three correlations (The same friend in the dream and in real life, the hotel which corresponded to our travel to the town, and the visual rebus of the hoof in water which corresponded to the name of the town) seemed too striking to chalk up to coincidence alone. (The gig, by the way, was a total surprise. I had no idea I was going to be in it before my friend called me).

I feel like this is a big wink from the universe, partly due to (1) the extreme proximity in time between the dream and the real-world events corresponding to the dream (2) the light-hearted nature of the event.

Experienced dreamers: I think I'd like to develop this ability. I just think it's exciting and fun. I might want to put it to some kind of use, too, though I don't know what. What advice would you give? Are there any pitfalls I should be aware of? I'd like to be able to help myself and/or others with this, and also, did I mention that it's fun?

Hi,

for you interpretation, I've no help for its content, just for the structure of your dreams in general.

When you become conscious in your nighttime adventures, you can answer all the questions and pose more questions. When you managed to become conscious there are many tools you can use, manifest your higher self, your subconcious etc.

There are no pitfalls, maybe we are sometimes just a bit afraid when facing something new.

Sometimes it is good to let coincidences just happen and to watch how it plays out - they'll happen most likely when we are in an effortless/non-thinking/conscious state of living.

We don't get the whole story at once sometimes, just something that catches our attention.

I like the idea of not overidentifying, but being open.

All the best.
