I am 36 years old and I have never told anyone before but when I was about 17 I woke up from sleeping and saw my tv next to my bed and then I realized I was looking down at it, like I was above my bed and I remember starting to panic and I started going toward the tv. Then I remember really waking up in my own body and this really freaked me out. It lasted a few seconds. I always wondered if this was a weird dream or was it an OBE? To this day I still wonder about it. It never happened since then and I really don't want it to. Over the years on and off I do have times when I'm falling asleep but I can open my eyes and I look at my hands, making fists, turning them back and forth and I feel like they are phantom hands and they look grainy and shadowy. My body feels like its in intense relaxation and like it's being pulled into relaxation and during these times I have "sleep paralysis". I used to fight this and try to wake up but now I just go with it. What is the meaning of looking at my hands? Is this a lucid dream? |

Sounds like astral projection to me also. All or most of us a.p. during parts of sleep and dont remember. E. Pavlina made some blogs on how not to a.p. if you dont want to , but many of us spend a lot of time trying to go out of body . Hear are some links , there is a lot more on the net. Erin Pavlina had a blog on how not to a.p. . Can you prevent astral projection? Do we astral project every time we sleep? (Blog) Dick Sutphen said an old girl friend would a.p. after taking an asprin. This was before he got into a.p. and past life regression .
