Simple Method For Astral Projection

I came across the following video not to long ago, and have tried the techniques described and it really does seem to work, so I wanted to share. Its called "How to astral project" and it provides simple, step by step instructions that are easy to follow. The first few times that I tried it, I didn't go very far, but on the 3rd time I spent about a total of 45 mins. focusing and I did break threw to 'somewhere', there were these small, white dots, or stars all around me, and I could feel that i was not alone. I tried to go farther, but the phone rang and pulled me out of it. Has anyone else tried this method? Is it actually astral projection, or is it something else? Any feedback would be appreciated.

I just watched those videos. It sounds really interesting. I haven't tried that method (usually I've only ever gone out of body just spontaneously, and could not do it at will) But I'll have a shot at it.

I wouldn't say it's simple, that's by far the most complicated technique I've seen. Some of the stuff he explains seems strangely complicated, and I cannot relate at all to how he describes spirits. I'll try this and see how it is.

Looking at a candle flame as described in the vid is an age-old way to awaken the third-eye, which in turn could also produce OBE's.

I have tried other methods, but I was unable to get very far with any of the others that I've tried.. I tried this again last night, and at first, nothing, but then about 20 minutes of focusing on the center of the gray circle, I started to see this very light spinning vortex in front of me, and the feeling of falling. About 5 minutes more, and I started to feel that i wasn't alone. I could in fact see shadows all around me, but then everything started to fade away, except the feeling that I wasn't alone. When I opened my eyes, that feeling that someone was standing over my shoulder was very intense for about a half an hour. Is it possible, with regular practice of this, that it can really help to open my 3rd eye, or at least help me become more psychically aware?

The method seems entirely third eye based so I'm theorizing yes.

Something that could also enhance your OBE's or awkening your third-eye is to wear some blue or purple stones such as lapis or amethyst. You could even put an amethyst crystal under your pillow at night and see if that boost's your OBE's. I would wear either an amethyst or lapis pendant or necklace while doing these exercises you're using. I used to use a lapis mala and it had wonderful results with enhancing my psychic abilities.

I actually have a light blue angelite stone that is supposed to help aid in OBE's, protection, communication with spirit guides, astral travel, and is most effective on the throat charka. I have tried to use it to achieve OBE's, and have actually noticed a difference when I use it vs. when I don't. Thanks for the tip!
