So what do you do when you teach your kids something that you know will upset them? You prepare intermediate lessons, so they can work their way towards the information you want to share. You share other stuff, bit by bit, until they become accustomed to the idea without knowing it.

You feed them ideas so they start breaking out of their mental box bit by bit.

I see this happening in the world, especially in places like this one. Not everyone will be following along, but that isn't required. Many people don't understand the involvements of political decisions (the involvement of economic interests, the implications and problems that the "obvious" solutions have and why those are not realized etc.). Many don't even care, or want to understand.

For most people, it will be something novel, something world-changing...for a month or two. When the media die down, it will be just something else that changed in the world. Humans are very adaptable.

I agree that there will probably be a few fires around the world. Then again, there still are people who still think the universe is but a few thousand years old. These things have their repercussions, but all in all, life goes on, and today has never been the same as yesterday. We're moving forward, no matter whether we like it or not.

Eventually, even under the most adverse circumstances, this will sort itself out generationally. If the aliens were announced today, then in twenty to thirty years the people who will be running the governments and companies will be the kids of today, who will have known the aliens for most of their teenage and adult years.

It will be like many major historical events - you're going to remember where you were when it happened.

The Akashic Records confirms that this will happen, not just as a way to help us awaken to who we really are and why we are here, but also as a way of giving people who have no spiritual/religious perspective on the current transition toward unification that is happening, some frame of reference to hold onto to make a transformation. When we understand that there have been aliens here for millions of years, and that they have been helping us in all kinds of ways, our collective consciousness is going to shift even more towards awakening.

I've also spoken with a source from the Air Force recently, who is usually tight-lipped about anything, and he mentioned that there will be an announcement, though he didn't say when. When I asked him what the holdup has been he simply replied that it takes awhile to get everyone prepared for something like this.

I'm not expecting anyone to believe this because of what I'm saying, especially if you don't know me or my work. Just watch and see when this happens, do your own research, and/or let your loved ones know that there is nothing to be scared of or to get freaked out about. It's going to be quite the media event.

I can buy that because that has been what the whole Hollywood and alien movies have been about lately. They are conditioning us to get prepared. It takes generations to get people ready for things like this. Thats why when they played the Orson Welles reading of 'the War of the Worlds' radio program, they were experimenting to see how the public would react. Had people's grand parents, not been so histerical, maybe we would know more about what's going on. Fast forward to now and kids have grew up with images up aliens, it's not as frightening as it would have been back then. In all our movies, we always overcome the aliens, so people are not as afraid anymore. Although, I'm sure the outcome would be totally different in real life.

And when they do, it will be like humanity was slapped on the face wherether it will be in 100years or in two months.
What i don't understand is why are they waiting? are they waiting for us to be prepared? Alot of us are but there will always be peaple who are not prepared.

Every single person on this planet knows what an alien is. If they believe it or not is another story. but the point is that man is aware of ETs and for me that's kind of being prepared.
Like i said, when they will come out it will be a slap on the face but what then? the day later it will be another day and we will have to deal with it.

Maybe they think we are so fragile because of all the wars and violance etc... So they probably think that if they show up, there will be even MORE wars and violance. But i think it would be the opposite.
Man have been doing wars because mostly, man doesn't know itself and feels lost. We don't know who we are and why we are here.
And if these ETs will show up, it will bring a whole new meaning of life and our origins. There would be the long awaited awnsers not only technologically but also spiritually.
Most wars are because of greed, but what is greed? the hunger for more. And when you want more, it's because you want to fill a void consciously or unconsciously. But if you fill that void with the knowledge that the ETs would bring us, then there is no more greed. No more greed, no more wars.

Bluesparks & Elucidate - When this happens, if there is a lot going on within the world already like there is now (ie. economic difficulties, personal issues coming up to be resolved, political changes, etc), there will be a lot of people already looking for answers, some deeper understanding, or at least to be out of pain. It will make it easier for the average joe to accept because it can be seen as something that might reveal a greater truth or have some real impact on life.

And you're right - some people might be shaken to their very core. If we are only living at the basic level - moving from pain to pleasure - then it might be difficult to initially adjust to this. But then those are the exact people that have a hard time adjusting to any change. It will likely be the most difficult for people with a strong need to be right about their version of reality (i.e. human history, religion, science), which is why it has taken so long to get fully revealed.

Will it be shocking to some people? Yes likely. Will the leaders try to help people integrate and understand this so they don't panic? You bet. Do we have to worry about being killed/enslaved by them? No. Do we have to let the mass unconcious herd that is afraid of change/greater understanding steer the rest of us? Absolutely No. The more we bring issues like this to the table, the less power they have over us. If they're simply left in our subconscious, or for the horror movie on Friday night, not much of a chance is available for transformation.

But then the same thing happens if we think that spirituality is something to do at a designated time and place (i.e. 10am at church), instead of recognizing that we are all Source/Creators in every moment.

Derelle & Mynder - Yes, you and Mynder are on the right track about this. Gradual release of real information, with a mixture of Hollywood media to see what the reactions are - that's been going on for decades already. Having meaningful discussions like this one can also help prepare people so the shock isn't so much.

JoeBenz - There are so many people on forums like this that would like nothing better than for aliens to publicly reveal themselves, but how many people in the world do you think don't even like forums like this? Part of what is going on is the recognition of how much of a game changer this can be, and to not interfere with us humans in how we our handling life/naturally evolving. It's a delicate issue to be revealed at a time that will be beneficial. Our lack of consciousness which precipatates things like wars, is one reason it has taken so long to publicly come out.

One reason people stay greedy is that they aren't connecting their thoughts with their feelings, and they aren't giving themselves what they really need - including embodying what they want from others. And you're right - the more people that know who they are, why they are here, the less we struggle with anything outside of us.

The Occupy Wall Street protests seem to be a big worldwide step in a positive direction. If the "right time" truly is based on political reform as well as collective spiritual thinking, we may see something around the 2012 elections. And let's face it, the idea of "2012 = apocalypse" is already a popular concept. I have no doubt it will dominate the theme for next year.

A few inquiries for you:

- How do you think extraterrestrials would present themselves? Are they in physical flesh-and-blood or can they incarnate however they wish by "traveling down" one energy level?

- Likewise, how do some masters live for such a long time? Do they simply rejuvenate their bodies on a regular basis or do they have to occupy new bodies through birthing (or even, heh, Doctor Who-style regeneration)?

- What do you think it means to live without conflict? Simple enjoyment of life? Not worrying? Living on more than one conscious plane?

Ciergan - The Occupy Wall Street protests are at least getting some of the "pink elephants" named so that they come out from the basement of our subconscious into our consciousness, so we can complete with our own issues and create something new. With many different sources working together like a network to create a certain reality - religion, media, government, corporations - we have been successfully distracted and lulled into a lack of awareness. We have become complacent and lazy, and now our current situation is shaking people up enough so that some real change might now be possible.

My hope is that out of the current maelstrom of thoughts/feelings, we all search deeper inside, and we all gain more clarity and understanding about what we are doing to ourselves, how we perpetuate our own suffering, how we give our power away, and how we would like to re-create our society. I'm going to create a list of changes that I would love to see in government, corporations, religion, and place it on Youtube to see who it might inspire.

Yes, unfortunately, whatever is getting marketed the most or yelled the loudest can predominate in our consciousness. Despite the fact that mystics have been trying to tell us that 2012 isn't the end of the world but rather the end of time as a unit of measurement, the collective shift from seperation to unification, I'm sure there will be plenty of marketing, speaking, movies, blogs, etc that will highlight the fear of the end of the world (i.e. mass destruction, chaos, death, etc). I'm grateful for forums like this to counter the fear-based misinformation that becomes so widespread.

The ET's that will make themselves known will show up in a physical humanoid type form, and there are other ET's that are more inter-dimensional type beings that don't need a physical form. An example of a being that can shift into any physical form they want would be an angel - they don't have souls per se like humans do, and yet are still composed of energy and consciousness.

A Dr Who style regeneration - makes me smile just thinking about it. There are a variety of reasons someone can live so long. There are chi techniques, like we can learn through various yogic disciplines, where we can replenish the body with chi. When we don't have any internal conflict we naturally live longer because we don't wear down the body so much. Back when the collective consciousness was living in a unified state thousands of years ago, there were people who had lives that lasted up to 800 years or so.

An ascended master can live as long as they want to - they don't need to be re-born into another body. Once we ascend a body, we have the body's blueprint so to speak, so that we can look any way we want. We can also exist in other dimensions and simply take physical form when we want.

Using your sci-fi analogy, ascended masters can be more like Connor McCloud in "Highlander", in that if they are hiding their identity while being in public, they are more likely to pretend to grow old and die, then take on a different identity.

Living without conflict means to fully align every thought, feeling, word and action while being in the present moment. Enlightenment is the consistent state of no internal conflict, meaning we lovingly, fully accept ourselves and stay in the present moment, not living from our minds as much as from a "stream of consciousness" type of perspective. In this state, we live in the Oversoul perspective, having access to all of our lifetimes memories so that we can use all their wisdom in the present moment. In the states of consciousness beyond enlightenment, we then start having experiences of time/space in other dimensions.

Thanks ChrisL, that was very helpful. I think the thing to keep in mind too is that social change often appears very unexpected, just as a pot of boiling water can appear to suddenly change state. We've already seen this year how one thing leads to another, with OWS being informed by the Arab Spring and August's manufactured budget crisis. And now that OWS has been around for a month, it probably won't go away any time soon. The ball's rolling faster...

Ciergan - You're very welcome. And you're right. Social change is usually the last place that we see change happening, and change has been boiling under the surface for awhile.

The real question is not just making the surface changes, not just changing government so that it actually represents/works for the people and not corporations, not just making corporations/banks accountable and less powerful than individuals, not just acknowledging that ET's exist, etc. The real question is how do we move beyond social consciousness altogether? As long as we are still externally-validating ourselves (i.e. parents, government, media, friends), giving our power away, not fully acknowledging ourselves, not being present - we miss the deeper change.

When we're unconscious, we want someone else to make decisions and take care of us, which then becomes the "blind leading the blind" type of scenario. When people become conscious, focused, unconflicted, integrated, then the rules, laws, a controlling structure of any kind is unnecessary. All the people in power know this, which is why some kind of "conflict" or distraction is always introduced to keep people occupied (i.e. govt - war against a certain nation/idealogy that threatens you, religion - you aren't good enough yet, advertising - you aren't pretty/popular/whatever enough). As long as an "us vs them" mentality can be maintained, people can be controlled. Once we realize that there is no "them", we have an initial awakening to the situation we've created. If we can stop our internal negative chatter and release our own internal conflict, we don't have a reason to struggle/fight outside of us. Then when we realize that everyone and everything is sacred, the epiphanies culminate in greater awakening.

We can then form a collective with intentions, but it's not coming from a greed/power stance as much as creating something of value for everyone concerned. Various societies around the world have had experiments with this. The Iroquois Confederation was an interesting example of this when they made council decisions only after considering the impact on 7 generations.

All the current external agitation simply reminds me that people are really hungry to know themselves - to know that we are sovereign souls, a unique reflection of Creation/Source with the capability to do just about anything! But we have to feel motivated, inspired enough to start some introspective searching first, we have to want to move beyond the limitations of being caught up in social consciousness.

When we move beyond courage into total commitment, we realize that we can't fail as long as we're simply being present. It's so easy and we make it so hard.

Just wanted to say that first off, second while going back and forth between this awesome thread and just kinda doing my own research here and there I ran across an "event" that is suppose to happen on 11-11-11, something to do with DNA and interconnectedness (I apologize I was trying to find the main source I found this on but havent had much luck), but wondering if you think this may have anything to do with the announcement?? If not, do you have any insight on what may happen on Nov 11, 2011??

Just curious how awesome that day is going to be, maybe I should take vacation on that day, haha.

Scott - You're very welcome! We have so much happening on the planet right now in terms of transformation, it's almost difficult to keep up with all of it!

Since time is more of construct of our minds rather than a steadfast reality, the actual date of Nov 11 2011 isn't that meaningful. However, we as a collective mass of consciousness are making 11/11 a meaningful event, so it will be interesting to see what happens individually and collectively for us. I haven't gone into the Records to see what is happening for that day, but when anyone in our soul group has an epiphany/awakening, we are also benefiting from it. So my hope is that there will be many events/gatherings to help shift our consciousness. Do I think that there will be an alien announcement on 11/11? I don't think so, but it would be great if it did happen.

The date of Dec 21 2012, the Winter Solstice, was calculated, interpreted and confirmed by the Mayans as a pivotal point of transformation for collective human consciousness. Not that there has to be a major occurence on that actual day, as much as the beginning of a major consciousness shift.

An article just came out today in many of the news websites - BBC, CNN, etc. The article on CNN is titled "White House: No Contact with Aliens but We're Looking".

There were 2 petitions that were sent through "We The People" to the White House. The official line is that they have no knowledge of aliens - a flat out lie, even if there might be partial good intentions behind it (i.e. Don't panic the masses). The petitions were submitted through "We the People," a White House initiative that promises a White House response to any petition that can garner 5,000 signatures in 30 days.

This response by the White House satisfies the demands of two petitions, one of which garnered over 12,000 signatures.

That petition called on the White House to "formally acknowledge an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race."

"Hundreds of military and government agency witnesses have come forward with testimony confirming this extraterrestrial presence," stated the petition. "Opinion polls now indicate more than 50% of the American people believe there is an extraterrestrial presence and more than 80% believe the government is not telling the truth about this phenomenon. The people have a right to know. The people can handle the truth."

Whenever you follow an agenda, generally speaking you do it in the same way, as long as you feel that there is no resistance coming. This is also true for our governments, which are nothing different than what we allow to happen. Someone can decide to let them do all the job, or someone can decide to co create and steer in the direction of desire. We all have similar desires when it comes down to regulating what is missed by these institutions, some of them might be obvious some of them more subtle.

Now that article is a nice symbol of how we together can put intentions to use and act as a voice for change. What I would love to see more in the world is that people don't hide with their insights and experiences in the closet, more find a way of expressing it with like minded people, so you can create synergistic communities. The purpose of a community then can include to attract more like-minded people that don't have to bring all their energy up on their own to offer their message. This can relate to any topic, the more far away the topic is the more important is that someone makes first steps.

By being that voice it will negate the picked reasons for the delay of the governments to announce extraterrestrial interaction.
The reason why is mainly, that it is a too big step for us in many ways. One day or the other it will be announced, but nevertheless the progress that is made now is always expanding our experience in so many ways, so our visions become faster and more smoothly our reality. It will not be a matter of decades, more a matter of like 0-5 years that there will be more official institutions releasing concrete information that verifies intelligence beyond our planet. There are more individuals than you might be aware of who regularly have experiences with extraterrestials. These interactions are a reflection of a more general preparation, which intends to close the gap between us and them, so it won't be too overwhelming when it comes to a bigger act.

Nobody has to do something else than creating a life according to his visions and get off the layers that don't feel right, then there automatically is much less of an vibrational gap and you can much more effortlessly manifest whatever you want, since there is less conflict preventing you on the way.

Final Thoughts - I want to thank everyone who has contributed to this thread! Even when people would get negative, fear-based, or cynical, it was still contributing to anyone else out there who might be feeling the same way.

The timing on events like this can shift based on a variety of factors, and I saw the window for an announcement start in Mar 2011. I guess we'll see when it actually does happen. In the meantime, it is OUR transformation that is the most important thing to focus on. Please try not to worry about aliens hurting, abducting, killing, etc - we've got plenty to focus on right here already. Find a way to become an example of what you want to become, and live that fully right now. Don't procrastinate or look for some other excuse/permission to be yourself - live fully right now as if it's your last day, not from a fear base, but from a "I've got nothing to worry about anymore so I won't hide" stance. And remember that nothing is more powerful than us unless we choose to give our power away - that includes aliens, ascended masters, you name it.
