Did my husband and I have similar dreams or what?...

I am going to make this brief but I am somewhat perplexed here.

I woke up to our bedroom door closing somewhat loudly and saw this light move from the door to my side of the bed. The light was moving really fast and then it, i guess, entered my body. As it entered (or came to me) I heard this strange static noise and was pretty darn near terrified. My heart was beating fast. I had to pea but did not even think about getting up. I slid over in the middle of the bed and put my big pillow on the edge and slept on my back until the alarm went off. On the way to work, I was talking to my husband and he shared his dream. Said he dreamed there was scratching on the bedroom door. I got up and let our dog in. Then it happened again and he thought wth? Then, we were on opposite sides of the bed and something was attacking me. then, i was on top of him fighting someone and it's (i say it because he never saw their face or body) hand reached around me and started choking him.

I tried to keep if brief. What I am wondering here is, was this just a restless night of sleep and crazy dreams we shared or what? Is there some spirit in our house?

the ball of light sounds like an orb. This sounds like a being of some kind, you nead to find out if it is evil or just wants to talk. The light might of been your hub. in his atral body , if he was asleep . desert rat

Thanks for the reply desertrat. I keep thinking about it and just am totally baffled. I know there is history in that house. Our bedroom inparticular. Someone died in there and the son, who was schitzophrenic (sp?)was left alone, therefore having to sell out and since then, committed suicide. I just don't know what to think. I just know it was very vivid and the fact that my husband said it attacked me and threw me on top him is pretty damn crazy. My office buddy has looked up stuff and has come up with old hag syndrome?

I also drank some sleepytime tea. I don't think I will be drinking it anymore.

How do I find out if it's evil or good? I know when it entered me (or I thought it did) I immediately tried to think I felt bad or noticed any difference in how I felt and I don't notice any difference.

Another thing I think is important is we have a dog that sleeps on our bed and he did not move a muscle. In fact, he was asleep on his back with his legs up in the air. Wouldn't he have barked?

Animals are usually quite adept at picking up on lower energy beings, so if your dog didn't stir, the chances are pretty good that this entity was benevolent. It feels to me as though some sort of light being came to you to give you something. Humans dont typically present themselves as orbs while astral projecting, the orb is an efficient form of existence for a pure spirit entity, like a soap bubble taking a spherical shape because that's its most efficient shape.

I would simply ask the entity what it wanted to bring you and wait for the answer. If you don't hear or feel anything or you're still unsure, I'd be happy to do a reading into it to learn more about it for you.

Thank you for your reply. But what about the spirit that was trying to choke my husband? Or was my husband just having a bad dream? Also, not sure if I mentioned it but my husband said I was in between him and the one trying to choke him.

The feeling I get from it is this. What you saw was a waking dream, sometimes called lucid dreams. It was a vision sent to your wakeful mind for a purpose that you can further pursue and ponder. It feels to me like it was a sense of protection or defense that was given to you.

What I get from your husband is a sleeping dream that was almost a replay of something traumatic that happened in that house. I feel like the two are connected, but not in any obvious sort of way. I feel perhaps there will be a confrontation soon with this entity and you have been given the tools and help you will need to send it away and protect the house. His dream almost has a premonitory feel to it.

If you know the names of the people that died , you might call out there names , see what responce you get. You might check on the net or look for a new age book store near to you , and look for parnormal investagators . You might set up tape recorders and look for e.v.p. elecrontronic voice phenomenon . If you think they are evil you can sround your self with white light . desert rat

Now,I am freaked out about this. Not sure why this stuff happens to me. I mean, do I look for it or what? Could it be because i read about it? If not, would it be a case of ignorance is bliss, therefore I wouldn't be sensitive to it and nothing would even ever happen?

Don't be freaked out, this isn't something to be scared of. You're a bright light and bright lights tend to attract things. That's all it really comes down to. Don't shy away from it, but instead embrace it and make the best use of it you possibly can. Ask your guides what you should know about what happened, if anything, and see what you are told. Again, nothing to be afraid of, just something a little different than what you're used to.

Thanks for everyones' replies. MasterRishi, I will try not to be scared. I have been doing very well so far. Actually, I have asked what they want and it had better be good, otherwise it can leave my home.
