The Gentle Way: requesting most benevolent outcomes

The Gentle Way is the title of a book written by Tom Moore. The book is about requesting assistance from your guardian angel, with all sorts of common or everyday problems. I've been using this system for requesting help about a month now with fantastic results. I'm impressed at how many times a day I can ask for help, from little things, like finding a parking space, to the biggest problems or goals in my life. I've have more synchronistic things happen to me in the last 30 days than I've had happen in the last year.

Before starting using this method I was already familar with requesting assistance from angels, so it was not that hard for me to accept it easily, but even someone who's has no background in this at all, can still get it to work very quickly.

Rather than say anything else, it would be a better idea to read the first two chapters in Tom's book listed on his website for free. The two chapters "How I began" and "easy steps", give you all the explanation you need to begin. It's a quick read and very to-the-point. Here's the link:

You can also go to the main website and read Tom's blog's and also his free newsletters which he has listed, you can read all the back issues and get a fantastic idea of how to work with most benevolent outcomes (MBO's). I never read his first book, since I'm new at this too, but there's enough information on his website to get you started and also keep you going. I do plan to send for his books but even if you don't wish to buy them you can easily learn how to request MBO's from his website. I'm doing just fine now and I've only read his blog and newsletters.

This has got to be one of the easiest systems of manifesting I've ever seen, I'm really impressed and hopefully others will like this too. You can literally change your whole life by using this simple system of asking for help from your guardian angel.

From time to time I'm going to be posting little snippets of information about MBO's (most benevolent outcomes) from some of the old Gentle Way newsletters. You can use these MBO's yourself, all you have to do is repeat them outloud, just once, and then see how your guardian angel gives you some extra help.

This is from the Jan. 22, 2010 issue:

Tom Moore: Janet also asked me for a MBO to request as she’s an actress, and this can work for any actors that read this article. I suggested, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for the PERFECT acting job for me, and may the results be even better than I can hope for or expect, thank you!” And then stand back and watch your Guardian Angel works out the details. I also suggested that each time she goes for an audition she says, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for this audition, and may the results be even better than I can hope for or expect, thank you!” Perhaps she’s not right for that part, but the producer or director remembers her and casts her in another production.

Tom: Ellen wrote that she had heard me on a radio broadcast, was lonely and wondered if asking for someone was a silly request. I responded:

That's not a silly request. I've discussed this a number of times in my free newsletter I send out each week. You would say, "I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for the PERFECT mate for me, thank you!" Say it with some emotion and then sit back and watch things come together.

And I don't mean sit in your house thinking love is going to walk in the door. I was just reading a channeling yesterday (hmm, now I know why) that Lee Carroll did of Kryon (Lee's a super nice guy along with his wife). In it Kryon said in order to create the seemingly magical synchronicity you wish, you have to open the door and get out and about. Find reasons to be out and meeting people--volunteer work, clubs, and so on--whatever that little "whisper in your ear" as my GA Theo calls it says to do--listen and then do it.

Then when you think you've found someone interesting, say, "I request a Most Benevolent Outcome that this relationship is benevolent for me, thank you!" If it's not, then it will quickly end and you can continue until you find that perfect person.

Thanks for posting this. By far, my most powerful manifestations have been of a spiritual nature. LOA is a spiritual law, as they say, and I'd have to agree. The greater my faith in the higher power that is doing my bidding, the greater the results. I don't even necessarily consider this higher power to be something outside of myself; it lives within me across the dimensions.

Why not contact George Noory of the radio program called "Coast to Coast AM" and see if they will book you for an interview? you can visit the show's website at Home - Coast to Coast AM. It is located in America, but you can subscribe to a stream of the programs because I am not sure if it is broadcast over international radio, but you can also listen live over the internet as a subscriber. It's a fun program and was started by Art Bell, the original. You can hear some of the interviews he had conducted. The interviews are indepth so it could be interesting to hear how the MBO have helped others.

JagJ, I've sent publicity materials to the two producers listed for his show 3 times and not a word back from them so far. Perhaps it is not weird enough for their show?

Hi, everyone! I'm Tom Moore, the author of the two Gentle Way books. Thanks Angel Psychic. Glad you are starting to experiment with requesting Most Benevolent Outcomes (MBO's). There are some simple rules in requesting MBO's.
1. You must request the assistance. Your guardian angel will joyfully help you, but only if you request the assistance;
2. When requesting a MBO, it must be for something specific for yourself. Benevolent Prayers (which I'll cover in a minute are what you say for other people;
3. It must be benevolent for not only yourself, but for all those involved in the request, even if you request something that is not benevolent either in error or on purpose;
4. It must be said out loud or in writing, as this is a physical world. I always say "thank you" at the end to acknowledge the assistance I'm requesting;
5. You can NEVER run out of requests. I requested probably 15,000 MBO's over the past 14 years and there's no end in sight.

Benevolent Prayers (or BP's as I call them) are what you say for other people. As an example you can say, "I ask any and all beings to assist and comfort all the people who were affected by the terrorist explosion in the Moscow air terminal in the most benevolent manner, thank you!"

One question is; what happens if you don't notice any result or MBO? I requested something yesterday and absolutely nothing happened.

Sometimes it takes time for your guardian angel to set things up in order to help you with a particular MBO, so you might not notice them right away. For example, finding a soul mate, that may take weeks or a month or so, or longer (I'm guessing here) to actually get this person to you. That's why it's always a good idea to start small with MBO's. Ask for parking spaces, do MBO's before you go into a store, also do healing MBO's for youself (which I think work great since I notice energy flowing through me to help with any problem such as a headache, which vanishes quickly with an MBO request).

So if you're new at this, start small, you CAN do some of the big MBO's also when you first begin, but also make sure you do plenty of small ones for everyday things... the mundane stuff...I'm sure you can think of loads of MBO's to say for those. Tom mentions in one of his newsletters to also ask for the things we think are impossible.... so ask for everything and anything and then watch to see what happens.

I requested a lot of MBO's when I was trying to put together financing for a package of movies that I and a friend in Paris had optioned several spy novels from WWII. Traveled to St. Petersburg, Prague, Budapest, Cannes, L.A. and Paris, but each time something weird would happen to cause the deals to fall apart.

I finally asked Theo about it and he said it would have taken me down another path and that I would reach more people with my books that I would have ever reached with the movies. You just have to accept this when you start requesting MBO's.

Tom, how are we able to know the difference whether a MBO just needs time to be fulfllled or whether its not benevolent for all involved to be happen ?

Thank you so much for this thread and the wonderful posts! I have become a great believer in "my angels" over the past year, and talk to them and make requests of them frequently. But having such a lovely way to talk to them will make the whole experience even more fulfilling. I would go so far as to say I think they led me to this forum 2 days ago, as I have been requesting more answers from them. I truly believe in GA's and ask mine to assist me daily. Today I had positive proof they were with me when my car began to have steering problems. This is before I had read this thread and Tom Moore's pages, but I'm sure I got assistance anyway. I asked Archangel Michael for assistance to get me home safely, since I didn't know whether I was imagining the steering problem or not. The car reverted to driving normally until I was just around the corner from home. Then the steering got so bad I could barely pull the car into my driveway. I think this happened as a way of saying, we got you safely home, and you weren't imagining it, here's the proof.

I tell my grown up kids when they go for a jog, "remember you have a guardian angel with you - if you get into any trouble call on him!" Now I can teach them to say a MBO before they go

It's so good to see that you're into MBO's and I'm glad you mentioned that you think your angels lead you here. I can't tell you how many times that's happened to me, where my angels lead me to the most amazing places!

Also, it's good you called on Archangel Michael for help with your car. Did you know that Archangel Michael is sort of like a "mechanical" angel, he's great at fixing things (read this in an angel book, that's how I know). Anyway, I've asked Archangel Michael to help me wth my car many times and have gotten all sorts of help from him, he actually helped get my car started once, when it almost impossible for me to get it to turn over. Also, when "high strangeness" overtakes my computer and nothing seem's to work, he's pulled me out of that too.... more times than I can remember. It's always good either call on Archangel Michael when in you're in a crunch with some type of machine and can't get it to work.... or just do an MBO (sometimes I use both...lol).

I don't presume to know how Tom would answer this, but I'm going to give you my answer that I've experienced directly... in hope it sheds some light on this problem.

I've noticed, as I would assume, everyone else does who uses MBO's that from time to time, things just don't "work" with the MBO method. I've been left scratching my head more than once over some MBO's since I could not figure how or if they were granted, or if it just wasn't in my best interest to have them come about. Anyway... one solution I've used, that only sometimes works, is that right after I ask the MBO or maybe a little while later, I would ask outloud to my Guardian Angel WHY this particular MBO did not work. And then I have to pay very carefull attention to my thoughts because more than likely my GA will give me a telepathic answer. So the first thing that crosses my mind after I ask the question is most likely the answer.

Obviously this is not an easy thing to do, but I do get answers sometimes that make me go "hmmmmm". Or perhaps you could just do an MBO for your GA to give you a very strong indication in the form of a telepathic thought as to why the MBO did not work or seem's to be delayed.

In the long run, if you really stand back and think about this. The ULTIMATE method of communicating with your GA is to have a one-on-on conversation and be able to clearly understand what your GA is saying. I think anyone can do this, you just need to practice it alot, where you ask a question and then "listen" for the answer.

Wow, yes! This is how I get many answers! Once I got a little frustrated that I never got feathers as proof of angels around me. I got a bit petulant and demanded of my GA, "Why do you never send me feathers?" I immediately received the thought, "why do you need proof when we show you every day we are with you?" That put me soundly in my place

I've been told by my GA that your GA knows already when you're going to request a MBO and the wheels are already set in motion before you actually do--but you still have to request. He says that if you stop, you soon return back to the same old grind of reacting to life instead of cocreating.

OK by me - this is the first IM/LoA-related practice I've managed to keep up, probably because it's quick and simple and fun, and fits well with past rituals of mine

For years, I've indulged the fancy that I was protected by some silent, stoic figure, forbidden to take an active role in my life. Nice to have a corroborating reason for that

Going with the assumption that it's most constructive to focus only on clear "hits":

1) Early this morning, seeing a forecast for clouds and rain all day, I requested a brief 'patch' of blue to help me keep faith in this process; I drifted off for a few hours, only to waken just enough to see a brilliant blue sky through my window. Wakening a second time, I saw the sky had gone back to gray, which it has been since. Talking to others here, I confirmed that the blue sky lasted only a short while.

2) When I first started up my PC today, there was no communication with the hard drive. After doing MBOs for a normally functioning hard drive and system, and doing a bit of dusting and connection checks, I had smooth sailing the next go round.

Can we request new guardian angels because mine sucks. They have never helped me with the stuff I asked for. I told god that if I was there bosses I would fire them. How do I get in contact with them? I need to let them know that they have been doing a terrible job.

I think it's best, when you first start out with MBO's (and Tom has mentioned this too) is to start small, with things like parking spaces and so forth just so we can start to see how our guardian angels work with us. There's all sorts of small things we can use them for, which I do everyday, like going to the store, or eating lunch at a resturant, or just going to see friends, I do MBO's to have a great time, each time I do these things, and in turn, I see all sort's of very wonderful "small things" happen.

I also, of course do MBO's for big stuff, like finding a job, or having extra money come to me to pay bills... and things like that, BUT these MBO's do not manifest as quickly as the small MBO's. They do take time, and may seem as if I'm not getting anything from the MBO, so I have to trust and just wait to see what happens.

If you feel you're not getting results, I would do an MBO to help lessen your worry, and do another MBO to help lessen your fears of failure. You could also do an MBO to help make the "signs" and nudges from your GA more obvious to you. Ask for an MBO to help release any blocks you have to having your financial goals come to you quicker or easier.

Make sure when you request MBO's you work it from all angles...I've said this before. Sometimes I think people need to do MBO's from their mental state or fears rather than have money come to them first. I hope this advice helps!

If you need more help with this, start reading angel books, there's so much GREAT information out there now on how to work with angels in practical ways. One book "healing with the angels" by Doreen Virtue is absolutely fantastic, I still read and re-read this book all the time, but there are many others out there, go to your local bookstore and check out all the angel books and start reading!

My GA tells we that when someone "fires" their own GA, the GA just takes on a slightly different persona. When you transition, both of you have a laugh about the firing.

Your GA is taking care of you in all your lives on earth, which are taking place ALL AT THE SAME TIME--as time is an illusion to us.

One of the "rules" of requesting MBO's is that you have to request the assistance--our souls have told the "golden light beings" who act as our GA's to not interfere, unless we ask for the assistance, and then they will take care of everything--parking spots all the way up to the most important requests such as the PERFECT job, home, or mate. But those requests you have to be PATIENT as they take a LOT of machinations. Perhaps there is a person working in that perfect job and they have to be promoted or leave the company, or you need another job in the interim to build up your experience. Theo says humans are very impatient (and he says that with humor).

But that's why, as Angelpsychic said, start with the small mundane requests to build up your trust in the process. Once you get into this you'll be amazed at what you can request. Even dangerous situations like the one I'll have in my newsletter this week where one of my subscribers had a home invasion that lasted all of 60 seconds after she requested several MBO's. The guys in ski masks pistol whipped her boyfriend, but it could have been a lot worse.

I have been making simple requests none of them has been fullfilled. I asked for an outcome of me finding five dollars on the ground it didn't happen. I asked for atleast fifty things from big to small I haven't seen them happen yet. I asked for a job haven't got it yet.

I'm certainly not the expert on this, but I do notice that the more attached I am to outcomes, the less likely it is to come to pass. This is the case with intentions, you set the intention, and then release it with trust. I'm sorry you are having a hard time, it is difficult to get to a serene space of trust, but it is something that clicks and you know it when you feel it.

Sometimes when I manifest, I burn the intention and then stop asking. I don't know how this works with the GA, but I am sure your GA is there wanting to help.

Thanks for the wonderful post. I'm going through a very difficult situation in my life right now and not sure how I am able to deal with it. Just when I thought about ending it all, I stumbled on this post. It was very encouraging. It was like my GA was telling me that I forgot that he was around to help and pointed me to this.

After reading it a few days ago, I did a lot of small MBO's not related to my issue over the past few days and was happy and surprised with the results.

I have also done MBO's to resolve my issue in 24 hours. I am asking for the impossible but I think anything is possible. I am taking whatever action to end my situation and asking my GA to guide me. I hope to give a great update tomorrow!
