Laurie writes: Here in Florida we can get some real whoppers when it comes to thunderstorms. Just the other day, a line of storms was rolling in. I looked at the radar online and it showed some intense activity heading in my direction. I immediately asked for an MBO that my home be protected from any harm or lightning that might occur during this storm. It got very dark and windy, and the rain came down in buckets, but the thunder and lightning was minimal. But the best part was when a literal hole in the clouds opened up and there was sunlight over my home even while the wind whipped through the trees and the rain came down. I even saw a brilliant rainbow while all this was happening. What a beautiful answer to my MBO!

Gaia (the soul of the earth) has also told me to go outside before severe storms, face their direction and open your arms, and say, "I welcome GENTLE RAIN; I welcome GENTLE RAIN!" So far it's worked perfectly. I watch the radar on line and the clouds start lessening in intensity before they reach us.

To add to this post, I even had a lady up in Kansas or one of the plain states wrote to tell me a tornado was bearing down on her and her two children at their house. She grabbed them and quickly requested a MBO for their safety and ran for the tornado shelter. The tornado lifted and went over her house.

Over in the UK, I've had a number of people request a MBO for a "Sunny Saturday" each week, as in the winter they might experience overcast skies for weeks. Gaia has told me that she will give one day a week of sun, as long as people request it. I chose Saturday for obvious reasons--more people out and about. They have reported it does work!

And I had requested a MBO a couple of weeks ago for clear and warmer skies for the Superbowl this weekend, and naturally the best day of the week will be Sunday as far as temperature.

I love this concept. I requested an MBO last night when I was trying to study and the neigbour's dog kept barking loudly. Usually when it's left alone, it barks consistently for HOURS. But after I requested the MBO for a quiet and undisturbed evening of studying, the barking stopped after about 5 minutes. I remembered to say a big thank you!

I've been saying my MBOs for just about everything these days, but a while ago, I said one for the clearing of two pretty angry red scars on my face. I don't care to wear a comprehensive foundation (I like the little freckles I get on my cheeks when I get sun, they've always made me feel more unique) and I really just wanted my face to clear, specifically so that I could be more confident in my outward appearance.

I thought I was imagining things the other day when the angry red went away, but now the scarring has actually decreased in size. From two super deep red splotches on my cheek that were super noticeable, they've gone down to small areas of mild red. I have light skin that scars easily, so for these marks to begin to clear so soon after receiving them is absolutely phenomenal to me.

To give an example of how easily I scar, I have a mark on my hand from a shallow cat bite from the summer still clearly visible and the remnants of a scar from when I was fourteen and a friend accidentally hooked me with her fingernail. I'm not as fair as freshly driven snow, but my body apparently enjoyed holding on to past wounds quite a bit.

Totally incredible and I'm loving it, especially since I had such a hard time seeing any results from regular LOA. I would always sit back and go, "gosh, it is so easy for everyone else, why can't I?" I feel, for the first time in my life, truly empowered and that's just delightful. I love it. I feel so incredibly grateful that MBOs have come into my life.

I've been saying MBO's for a few days, since first reading this thread, then checking out Tom's website. I'm not sure whether it has made much of a difference for me as yet. I already had a great relationship with my GA/s, and the archangels as well, and have had many instances where I felt I had angelic assistance. I have had some of my MBO's answered in the positive, but they are things I would have just generally had a chat to my angels about anyway. After I say an MBO I still just chat to them normally anyway out of habit.

I have no doubt that it works, any relationship you have with your angels has got to be good. I've MBO'd a couple of things a normal chat has had no results on, so I'm waiting to see how they go. I'm particularly interested in physical symptoms. I have a disfigurement which I'd rather not go into, which a surgeon told me may be operated on (but is a difficult operation), but he had doubts whether the results would last. I talk to my angels a lot about this, and have come to the conclusion it must be something I have to go through because of a prior soul contract. I have requested an MBO on this situation, which I know will not be changed if it is indeed in my soul's path.

I will continue to say MBO's, particularly for spiritual development and, I have to say, prosperity , as I think they are a lovely way to communicate with the angels.

When preparing for the surgery, say "I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for this surgery and may the results be even better than I can hope for or expect, thank you!"

And they you can say a Benevolent Prayer for the surgeon staff:
"I ask any and all beings to assist the doctors and nurses for this surgery today to operate to their highest peak of knowledge and professionalism, thank you."

That one you can change to fit your circumstances. When I had congestive heart failure a few years ago I requested MBO's each time and had absolutely no fear! I KNEW the results would be for the best, and when the first "procedure" of shocking my heart did not work, I KNEW that an ever better result would happen the next time. I was able to joke with the nurses and staff. The second was successful, but I was on medications which affected my memory, so they did a third procedure which was only supposed to be 80% successful. But I KNEW it would be successful, and it was. I was able to get off all the heart medications I had to be on after the second operation. You are co-creating when requesting MBO's and my Guardian Angel Theo says this is the BIG STEP of learning to be "Junior Creators in Training".

Thank very much Tom. I can't afford the surgery yet (I've MBO"d about that), and I'm trying to get healthier so I'll make it through the anaesthetic easier. I'm hoping to have it sometime later this year, my driver's licence and photo will need renewing and I want a photo with me looking "normal" I will indeed remember my angels and MBO's when the time comes.

How's this? We have been sweltering with extremely hot humid days, and last night as I went to sleep, I MBO'd for a cool change, maybe even rain today. In the last 5 minutes it has started to pour with rain and the temperature has dropped a little, although the humidity is still here. How lovely!

I've had a fantastic day today!

I start work at 2:30am and was walking to work and saw a crisp £20 on the pavement!!!! Please note that this morning was a very, very windy day where I live (near london) I just picked up the cash, declared out loud "Thank you! Thank you Thank you!!!!" and carried on to work.

With this free cash, I purchased 5 scratchcards totalling £5. I also purchased a Euro Millions lottery ticket. One by one I held each card & the ticket in my hand and requested an MBO that I win at least £10 on this particular scratchcard and at least £50,000 on the lottery ticket. I repeated this MBO for each card.

I left the cards to the side to use later and had a nap for an hour (I work nights, I'm not lazy! LOL).

I work up and immediately thought "Man, I can't believe I wasted £7 on these stupid scratchcards". I hadn't even finished the sentence when my left ear started ringing and I realised that it was my guardian angel/spirit guide/benevolent being telling me... "Hey! what are you doing?!? Make up your mind and stick to it!". I actually apologised immediately and said "....My sincere apologies. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!". The ringing in my ears instantly stopped! Weird huh? But it gets even weirder!!

I scratched on all 5 cards and I won on all but one scratchcard, and guess how much I won alltogether.... £9!!! Freaking Fantastic!!

I got a distinct feeling that I was deducted £1 for my "lack of faith" so to speak. Just kidding.

Also, I guess I should be more specific in my MBO.... or I should just request more money next time.

My GA is definately letting me know that He/She is around. I didn't believe in angels before, but now.... I still don't ( ), but at least I now know for certain that a benevolent being is here for me! Sweet!

I'm gonna start playing blackjack and use the MBOs to win money, money, money! Woohoo!!

I'll keep you posted on any new MBOs in the future.

Thank you! I've been using MBOs all of the time now, and I used the "all beings" prayer for a friend who just found out that her friend had been taking in a really tragic domestic situation. I'll be saying my own MBOs about my job interview tomorrow, but if anyone has some spare words, if you don't mind saying this for me? "I ask that any and all beings to aid S in having a calm, stress-free interview tomorrow and that whatever the outcome is for her interview, it be for the highest good."

Everything about this technique and philosophy appeals to me. I haven't had a chance to read the book, but I've spent a day reading this thread and Tom's newsletters. The benevolence, love and compassion that Tom describes is the world I want to live in.

But, alas, it hasn't worked for me yet. I wrote an MBO on a pad of paper and placed it next to my window. Despite living alone, I just can't bring myself to speak aloud . Are written MBOs less effective than spoken?

Can anyone suggest a good way to experience MBOs for the first time?

It's always good to start small when first using MBO's, just to see how things work out. Doing MBO's for parking spaces has really made me go "holy cow" more than once, when a seemingly impossible place to park just opens up as I get there. Also, do MBO's for everyday things, like to have a good night's sleep or do an MBO for anything that's bothering you, like headaches or body pains... etc. Of course you could do the big MBO's right of the bat too.... try everything and anything.

I like the method of saying my MBO's outloud, I've never used the written one, so I can't talk about that too much, but from what I understand it works just as good. I would try, as best as you can, to say the MBO outloud, when I do that I can even feel energy move through me right after I say it, which is sort of a little "nod" from my GA that things are starting to work out. That energy also raises your vibrational rate and does wonderful things, like start to move you closer to much more obvious contact with your angels and guides.

If you can't say your MBO's outloud, maybe you can do an MBO to feel more confortable actually saying them outloud....lol! Another MBO, I like to say, now that I think of it, I try to remember to say this every morning is "I request the most benevolent outcome to have a very joyful, blissful and love filled day that puts a smile on my face and allows me to feel absolutely wonderful and may this outcome be even better than I could hope for or expect...thank you". Saying that MBO everyday has made me feel so much better...I'm sure you'll get great result too!

Personally, I write them out before bed, and then say what I have written. It's a lot of fun for me to go back and mark off the ones that have been fulfilled, such as the whole process for me getting my new job (confidence, smooth interview, glowing references from past families, getting the position). I haven't had any experience with one that was just written down - I feel very strongly towards saying them out loud.

My most magical MBO was getting a job with a family that would see me as part of the team, be financially stable, and have the opportunity to travel with them; when I met my new employer, I was just blown away that she was checking off everything from my list! Some of it was written down, but everything was said out loud, even if I had written it down prior.

I'm still in shock that everything went as quickly and smoothly as it did.

Write down your MBOs and then just whisper them. That's how I started. I felt very embarrassed saying them out loud because I share a flat with my sister.
Now I've grown more confident saying my MBOs in a low voice. The MBOs work for nonetheless!

I don't know how many I say in one day, but if I were to guess, I would say at least 5 or so. I think if I'm very busy and plan to go to many different places, I would probably say more. Also, if more problems arise in one day, I notice I say more MBO's.... so it depends on how the day is going. Any problem that pop's up, I do an MBO for it and sometimes I forget and struggle through something.... and then later on remeber... oh I could have done an MBO, darn it I forgot! So as time goes by you learn to keep your MBO's close...lol.

It's good to see you got through the traffic congestion easily, that's a good thing to do for a daily MBO. Make sure you do MBO's if you go shopping for anything...I'm always amazed at all the cool things that happen to me in stores and shopping mall's. Also, kids if you're around them, will benefit from your MBO's too, they have somewhat of a "radient" effect and if you're with a child, it also get's like spread out to them too. Also, you can use BP's (benevolent prayers) for children when they have trouble with anything, a BP is sort of an MBO for someone else, since MBO's are for only you personally. For example, if you a child want's to learn to read, you could do an BP like "I ask any and all beings to please help little Sally with her reading skills and may she have less trouble and more fun with it....thank you"

Also, another cool thing I picked up from reading Tom's newsletters and blogs is that you can say MBO's as you watch the evening news. There's always some disaster or famine of something going on somewhere and saying a quick BP for those people that live in another country does help. So it's like you can do your part to heal the world, just by watching the news.....what a great way to spead healing energy!

I am really glad to find this forum thread on Most Benevolent Outcomes , I get Tom's newsletter and read his blog and have read Book 1. I use MBO's all the time and love them , so I am very happy that we can come here and write/chat away about our experiences and comment to each other. I love sharing about MBO's with others . If I had written a journal of all the ones I have said and the results they would fill a book by now. Not all of them have happened that I have requested as I need to be ready for them and allow them plus the Universe is working them out for my highest good, divine timing and divine will.

I've now ordered both the books, and with the help of an MBO they should be delivered to me very soon.

In the meantime, I have a question. I've read that you only need to say an MBO once. But I've also read things like the 'living prayer' and 'expecting great things' should be said daily.

How do I tell when I need to say an MBO once or daily?

This morning I came across a signpost announcing maintenance work to a place I regard as near perfect. How many times should I say the following:

"I ask any and all beings to come to the aid of the plants and wildlife around the edge of the reservoir, and that the maintenance work starting next week will cause no harm, thank you."

Tom: Have I ever said the Benevolent Living Prayer I say each morning in any other life?

Theo: No, not really. This is your first life to recognize the value of saying this prayer. That’s why it is so important that you continue to say this prayer on a daily basis, as it truly does erase much Karma as I have explained before. So I am telling you the complete truth here Tom. Do not doubt this statement, as I know doubt can creep into your mind. This is a true gift to yourself and all the other lives you’ve lived and will live on earth.

Note: The Living Prayer I say each morning goes as follows: “I ask that any and all beings come to the aid and comfort of anyone I have ever harmed either physically, mentally, morally, spiritually, or emotionally in any past, present, or future life, and I ask that any an all beings come to the aid and comfort of the families of anyone I have ever harmed in any way in any past, present, or future life, thank you!"

I was told that this is rarely said in a normal life, but as you read above is HIGHLY BENEFICIAL to all your other lives and this one too!

After coming across this thread, I decided to try out MBOs, a little half-heartedly in the beginning as I'm used to getting all enthusiastic about different methods and not having them work for me. But it seemed that it was working. Sadly I can't remember many of my MBOs, but two that stand out for me:

For the one and a half years I've been living in my flat, I've had this horrendous smell sporadically wafting out from somewhere in the bathroom. At first I attributed it to a dead mouse, then later I was sure it was the ceiling fan. But it had gotten so bad lately that I'd have to warn visitors before they came over so they wouldn't think it was me (and imagine having handsome gentlemen over for romantic times! Oh the shame!). Plus it's a studio flat so you can smell it in the room. So I did an MBO for that, just as an experiment. A few days later, my friend came over, and I was complaining to her about this. So she asked me if I had ever poured hot water down the sink. I vaguely remembered having tried this half-heartedly, but agreed to doing it again. So we boiled several kettles of water, poured them down the sink and shower drain repeatedly and voila! My flat has been smelling fresh for weeks now. It's a bit "well duh!" as I'm sure most people would have immediately thought of that. But I could have easily gone on for another year and a half with a flat that smelled of rotten eggs.

The second memorable one was with a male friend whom I have held an understandable, but exaggerated grudge on due to sexual relations between us that left me feeling rejected. I've wanted to be on good terms with him for so long, as I do feel he is a great person, but I just felt bitterness towards him due to my own rejection and validation issues. I tried EFT, Sedona, visualising, you name it. Then I did an MBO (can't remember exactly what). Over the period of a few weeks, some random occurrences led us to clear a major part of the tension, and my grudge is gone and I no longer feel uncomfortable around him, which is a great relief as he is a part of the circle of friends I hang around with the most. Although, I may need to do some more MBOs as the clearing of the tension led to some more "relations" between us last week, and I don't want any awkwardness the next time I see him!

And I've had an idea: I usually do energy work on myself based on a combination of the Sedona Method, Release Technique and Emotrance - feeling where a negative feeling lies in your body, and letting it dissipate. But sometimes the energy just stays stuck! Tonight I'm going to try an energy work session assisted by MBOs... I'm excited!

Thanks for much for your MBO stories, it's always good to hear about people that have surprising results which they didn't expect. I'm glad to see you got help with your emotional problem too with that person you mentioned... that's a good example of how MBO's can work on healing emotional situations. I had already recommended in this thread for people to use MBO's for all sort's of healing... but it's still good to repeat this. I frequently use MBO's for healing just about everything I can think of in my life. Just today I did an MBO while out hiking to help heal my leg that was starting to bother me and without stopping to rest or doing anything out of the ordinary,....my leg just stopped hurting! It's little things like that which make you go... oh wow!

If you need additional help with any type of healing techniques besides using your MBO's I would highly recommend the book "The healing miracles of Archangel Raphael" by Doreen Virtue. In the past, before I found out about MBO's, I had asked Archangel Raphael for help with many things when it comes to healing.... and got fantastic results. I still use this book, along with my MBO's...so I'm never without help, plus it's very empowering to know the angels can help you with the most impossible things.
