Post Lucid dreaming

Ok so I had a dream the other day and i was in this game that i play (i was playing it all last night and I actually fell asleep playing it so i think thats why i dreampt of it) but in the dream i was able to control what i did! The game was medieval and i was in a castle courtyard. I went over to this guy and I recognized him as a bully at school. I really wished i had a sword so i could cut him but i didn't so i liked away. But guess what! There was a sword on the ground in front of me! I Picked it up and cut his head off a bit harsh but yeah...
The next day when i woke up i searched google and found out i was lucid while i was sleeping. Don't know what it is look it up. I am now attempting to go lucid the next time i go to sleep. I even took a soundtrack from the game to help me visualize it! But i am going to post my results and stuff on this thread. I'm not sure if I am going to get it the first try nut i hope so, because it was soo cool!

If you think you can give me tips or anything or maybe ask questions bookmark this thread so you can see how im doing!

P.S. I don't really do much in forums so my format might not be that good

Hi mudge31,

welcome, you do not need to worry you are here in the right place to ask questions and share your experiences.

Lucid dreaming is a great experience. Tonight i was walking through the park with Cameron Diaz, had a nice talk

There are some things to recommend, depends on yourself, how much you want to invest and what you already tried.

classic and effective is a dream journal.
more advanced is becoming common with trance and so on, in order to get the moment of falling asleep.
Or if you are spiritually aligned you may work on your throat chakra, even Steve LaBerge, as a scientist mentioned this technique in his book, which you can buy for a few bucks at amazon.

Edit: Make yourself clear what R.E.M.-phases are, you will more likely will get lucid in the mornings, you may just wake just to go into sleep, to get consciously into the dreaming state.

Have much fun

~sb

there is no generalization. It is from person to person different, there is also a bit a "luck factor", if you try the methods that suits for you best at the beginning, it is easy, yes.

If you were already lucid one time, than this experience is mostly easy to repeat.

Just by having the intention, every time before going to bed, to become lucid you might get "one lucid dream per week".

heres a tip, meditate! I have been meditating and doing chakra work for 3 months now and one thing that is certain, my dreams have been getting much clearer and I now have the ability to see energy. In a dream last night I was walking around in my basement and suddenly realized without even thinking about it that I was dreamnig. The more you clear your head the more access you'll have to those kinds of abilities. Removing the clutter from the day. Also may be interested in.

Remember supplements are tools, there are also bwg (brainwave generator files) that can help induce "Cues" to lucid dreaming. Remember though, natural is better and more rewarding . Happy trails.

I agree with Summerbreeze, it's much easier to do lucid dreaming in the morning. If you wake up in the middle of the night to use the restroom. When you return to bed try to stay conscious while keeping your eyes closed. It helps to practice some form of meditation while doing this. If things go well you may experience your first wake induced lucid dream. In the astral projection community they call this phasing.
