Default is this all a dream or was in for real?

I had a lucid dream incident two nights ago. At about 2.45am,when i was sleeping, I dreamt that i was talking to someone over the phone,it was very freaky and I was very afraid that I was SUPPOSED to be asleep at that point of time.

I vividly remembered what I mentioned in the phone as I mentioned all my secrets out to this friend.

Subconsiously in my dream, I walked down from my bed in the real life while I was ASLEEP and and knocked into a table, this was then my eyes opened and i realised that i walked down from my bed when i should actually be asleep, was very afraid as i didnt know why this is happening to me.

I did not have any major bad experiences before that so i dun know why this is happening to me.

Last night, I woke up twice. Once at 2 am and once at 5am. Somehow these incidents has caused my sleeping quality to be very bad, leaving me drained and tired in the day. And up till now, I still wasnt sure if I had really made the call.

Please help me. I need help to remain sane.
Can these dreams cause me to become crazy or go mentally unstable?
I stay in an apartment on #7, will I fall down to my death if the windows are not closed?
My boyfriend has the same lucid dreams problems ever since his father passed away and he have been dreaming about his father, waking up in 3am at nights and his problems have stopped. That is when it started. I slept with him in the same bed for a week. Is this situation infectious?
Is there some entities that is in my boyfriend that crossed over to me that caused my sleepless nights?
May I know is there any experts in here who, after reading my post understand what is happening to me and please give me some advice so I can have a peaceful sleep again?

Thank you
Charissa

Anything out-of-the-ordinary like lucid dreaming, or astral projection can be a bit disorienting and perhaps even slightly scary at first till you get used to it.
I'd say if you are actually sleepwalking (physically) -then yes, make sure your windows are locked. I sleepwalked just once, many years ago, and woke up as I was throwing the window wide open!
But if it's a lucid dream, and your physical body is actually sleeping (and dreaming) at the time, then there is no actual danger.
It sounds more like you have identified with your boyfriend's grief and emotions, than anything more sinister. Disturbed sleep can't be 'infectious' as such, more like suggested....like you must be identifying with what he is going through in a sympathetic way, and that is what is getting to you, breaking your sleep or making you wake up at certain times, etc.

It's weird how the subconscious operates too. If you expect to wake up at a certain time, you will do. How many times have you set the alarm, only to wake up two minutes before it goes off? Have you? I do that nearly every day. The subconscious kind of knows what time it is! If you wake up a couple of times at 2 am, then the subconscious will get hold of that and you might find yourself waking up every night at 2am!

A hot drink, (particularly Spearmint or Camomile tea) a warm bath before bed, soothing music, lavender oil, will all help you get a good natural sleep, and might help you sleep deeper.
