Talking Clair-smellience?

Anything like this ever happened to anyone?

I was dozing on the couch this afternoon, and had the distinct feeling that a Particular Person was thinking about me in a pleasant way. PP has been away working for around 3 weeks.

Then about half an hour later, I was sitting on the couch and suddenly smelt PP! I thought to myself - 'how weird, I can smell PP". (It's a pleasant smell and PP is the only one who has it).

10 minutes later, PP pops up on my Messenger!

Spooky!!!!

Theoretically, if clair-sentience exists, then smell can participate too. You seem to have above-than-average sense of smell (I mean, remembering how a PERSON smells when you haven't met him for WEEKS?) so you have more shance than the average person. But remember that just one time could be plain luck...or not...

I was smelling cloves all day today. It was strange, bot outdoors and indoors. I don;t have any connection to the scent of cloves, but it was very distinct.

That is spooky! At first I was thinking that PP was a spirit, then I realized they are a living person. That is quite interesting. I wonder if PP's higher self/spirit guide was visiting you.

Have you ever smelled death? I have experienced it twice. Once when i was a child with my mother and a group of church people who had gathered at an old mans house that was believed to be near death. The smell(?) if that is what it was unforgetable and the old fellow did die shortly.
The second time i was in a crowded shuttle van with the windows closed. The van stopped near three people standing in a parking lot and the smell of death was coming from one of the men. The man could have just been sprayed by a skunk and it is unlikely i could have detected it inside the van.
Must be a psychic aspect to the sense of smell much like the other senses.

Not me, but my sister can. She can smell when people are about 3 days away from a (natural) death. She said there's nothing psychic about it, it's a distinct smell. She found out she had this 'gift' when she was working in a hospital. She smelt it on one of my grandmothers and she told me. My granny died exactly 3 days later.
I think animals can smell it as well, so I'm assuming that the organs begin some kind of shut down a few days in advance of final death?

When my Auntie is in the presence of negative typed entities she says they smell like ♥♥♥♥♥. I always tend to smell cigarette smoke when my grandad comes to visit me from spirit. And my nana as well wears a fragrance that reminds me of my aunty. It's so facsinating. I remember gandalf telling us all to follow our nose. haha.

This ability is called clairalience.

This makes sense - There was a news story about a cat that lived in a nursing home that would sit at the end of a resident's bed before he/she was about to pass away. Here is the story: Cat Living in Nursing Home Has Uncanny Ability to Predict Death - Incredible Health - FOXNews.com

It's curious how people work with all kinds of senses. I'm more into sight, and rarely do I hear or use my touch (like the air feeling static on my hands where there's dense energy). Smell is amusing, though I never actually managed to use that sense so far.

Others I know though have the ability to use smell for their energy work. Sadly enough most of the world is such a mess that most of the time they use it, they smell things like garbage or rotten eggs.

So in that perspective, I'm not all that sad about not being ably to intuitively smell things ^-^

I was going to ask this too. Sometimes I smell cigar smoke but no one is around even with 50 m radius. In my room sometimes the scent will change to something disgusting. I don't smell it always but my mom, who has more opened third eye than me always tell me why my rooms smell like that I always say what smell, I don't smell something bad. Its this some sort of bad spirit? Sometimes I always feel a hair-like or feathery feeling in my skin but there's no hair or something in my skin. I was surprised at that very the same moment my cousin also feel that same thing. It feels like a spider web covering my face or cheeks or my legs. What was that thing?

I worked in the oncology ward of a hospital for a while as a nurse's aid. There is a distinct smell to people who are about to pass (over and above the normal smell of "rot" that these individuals share). It is not pleasant, it is unmistakable, and is definitely NOT psychic.

"Scent" or "Smell" in the tradition I follow is linked to Bear Medicine. There's an old Indian saying: "A pine needle fell in the forest. Eagle Saw it. Fox Heard it. Bear Smelt it." Bear is also a Healer and a Teacher.
