Hearing my name as I fall asleep or in a dream

lately I've been hearing my name being called. Its as I"m trying to fall asleep or like last night it came in my dream. I know its a spirit guide or my mom trying to contact me. Someone told me a spirit guide and my intuition is leaning towards that... I seriously need to know how to contact it... its getting very frightening.

I get that. It maybe happens about 4 times a year. I always recognize the voice though. Sometimes it's my mother (who has died last year) but it used to happen even before she died. Sometimes it's my aunt (who is still alive) Occasionally it's someone else, like a friend.
I always answer them. I speak to them, say "yes I'm here. do you need to talk to me? Is there anything you need to say?" Most often nothing else is said at all, and it goes quiet. I listen to my intuition then, see if I might be needed for anything. Or send love to that person, perhaps they need some contact...in the case of my aunt I might call her on the phone.

Same things have happened me for many times, maybe 10-15 times.
I don't think that is extraordinary thing but interesting andnice feelings.
I hear when I meditate and falling asleep , sounds come deeply from my relatives and I am startled. I asked my mom and father If they thought or telked about me in that time. They said No.

I sometimes get a hell of a lot of voices talking as I'm going to sleep. It's normally quite a blur as a lot is being said or I'm becoming too drowsy to pay too much attention to it (though I still remember one not too long ago when I heard a child telling me he hated me and I think that he wanted to kill me). To be honest, though, I tend to assume the voices I hear are a cause of me falling asleep and into a dream or something, though I do wonder sometimes...

I'm not all too sure what you can do, although maybe you could become lucid in a dream and see if you can do a little contacting that way.

I heard my name but not when falling asleep. I'm too awake. It did happened when I lost something like my id, cellphones etc. The voice comes from my brother and my mother. I lost my id when i ride a vehicle....that moment I heard someone called my name. It's very loud and clear but I'm the only one who heard that. I also looked around but my brother is not around. I'm so confused it's so impossible. I also heard it once again when I'm in extreme depression.
