Lately I've gotten into meditation and being present like described in The Power of Now. I've noticed a shift in a lot of areas of my life. I just enjoy things more, and I feel more alive. I've also had a couple dreams that are of such different quality as compared to my previous dreams that they're worth mention. I'm pretty sure these are caused by the shift in consciousness or whatever you'd like to call it that I've experienced In one dream I found myself in a nighttime setting in a grassy clearing in between some gravel roads and a wooded area. We had huts there, and had apparently lived there for some time. All of a sudden I heard trucks driving toward us. Humans had found out where we lived and were coming to destroy us. I remember me and my tribe fleeing for the woods, but what happened then was spectacular and very satisfying. The lights from the trucks the humans were driving shined on us from the road as we were running through the trees. This created an incredible lighting effect. It was like Avatar, but more beautiful. As we ran through underbrush and around trees you could see this ethereal light shining from all of us, multicolored and amazing. The next dream involved meeting a cat, the most beautiful cat I've ever seen. It had purpleish glitter around it's ears, and the most beautiful eyes... Anyway, has anyone have had a shift in their dreams from meditating? I guess the shift I'm experiencing while dreaming is congruent with the shift I'm experiencing while awake. Everything just seems more beautiful at times, even divine. Pretty cool experiences nonetheless. Last edited by Fred Tracy; 01-03-2011 at 11:19 PM. |

But what I did was basically, I kept reminding myself to be present. I would focus a lot of conscious attention on what was going on around me, and I would disidentify from my thoughts. For awhile there reality was increasingly becoming beautiful. The past couple of weeks I've been slacking off on it, working on my site. I need to work on it some more, it's really paradigm shifting. Edit: I forgot to mention the coolest part of my first dream in my original post. I was in a tribe of aliens. Like from outer space. Avatar-style. It was trippy man. | |

There are phases where my dreaming goes in this direction, maybe it is when i meditate more, i think you enouraged me to do more chakra and meditation stuff again Thank you for sharing. i remember a avatar style dream too, from my childhood, i can recall it in trance. I was young and we lived in the forest, the trees were looking like brokkoli a bit and there were really tall trees. I was in love with another of mine beings, dont really know what we were, black/darkblueskin and a head i fail to compare. We were really good at jumping, climbing and so on. So i played with the girl i was in love with, we jumped around and were silly. I don't know if we were together. Then a warning came, a member of our tribe felt like "my uncle" suddenly screamed we have to escape.(telepathic comm.) It seems we were already living withdrawn, because of unpleasant beings that conquered every thing they could see. They were really powerful, with abilities far beyond ours. We wanted to escape to something (a portal?). as they come closer i realized the situation being a bit hopeless, so i stood in the way between us and them and tried to fight, so the others might have a chance, i remember the look on the face of "my uncle" it was saying "wtf are you doing, run!". I was young and unexperienced, they killed me in a second. I don't know if they made it. ~sb Last edited by Summerbreeze; 01-07-2011 at 05:42 PM. |

Wow! That's awesome, thanks for sharing. I think you inspired me by your inspired-ness to do more meditation too, lol. Information overload is like the antithesis of meditation. My mind has been on overload too much lately! |
