Default Floating At End Of Lucid Dream?

Ok in the dream where I became lucid I was in combat in afghanistan. I saw my friend get blown up by a grenade and I went to go crouch down by the other person. I looked at my hand and realized I was dreaming and grabbed the gun to start blasting people away. I knew the dream was gonna fade so I immediately yelled "increase clarity now," as soon as I yelled this everything became dull and the dream became unstable. I said crap can't loose the dream. I fell backwards and went into a black void. Next thing I know I feel my arms lifting up about 90 degrees. I lift out of my body and float towards the ceiling and hold there for a few seconds before I awake. Was this an OOBE or false awakening? Cuz I had several of these last night. They're becoming more frequent. Can someone give me some insight.

To my view it is a mixture of OBE, lucid dreaming and imagination based on stored memories.

Two pieces of information seem to be missing:

Did you serve in combat in afghanistan?

Did you use any alcohol or drugs immediately prior to the experience?

There is no dreaming without OBE, it is all the same with a different degree of consciousness.

I did use melatonin and calea z the night before. Had some really bizarre dreams.

Thanks for the information on the calea z. Yes that would do it. It may be the combination of the two. Anyway my suggestion is that you try each of the lucid dream inducing herbs by themselves first and then mix them after and take notes of the type of dimensions you are propelled to when using each.

Another thing is that the first time you use an herb, try to use just half the recommended dose. If nothing happens then use 3/4 of the dose. And then if nothing happens use the recommended dose. If nothing happens then use one and one-half of the dose.

In this way you can gain the advantage of noticing the way the substance operates and of seeing for yourself what dimension it will propel you to and how much control you will have in that lucid world.

I have had 4 lucid dreams so far. I have also had dreams where I was writing in my dream journal. When I woke up I immediately logged the dream. After I fell back asleep or was dozing off I heard someone say my name. But before that I saw a flash of white light and a room in the image. It was odd and only made me more curious.
