I haven't watched this clip but the world will not end.

The mayan people from which i believe this originated from kept a calender up to the time until a new age would come. From what i understand, there wouldn't need to be a calender after this time because time was meant to cease to exist, Not humanity, but time.

In Spirit world there is little concept of time. It is the human world who use time to keep a record of change.

I'm not saying there won't be big changes. If you ask many cultural people, they will have all had their own concepts of what is coming. Not all of them believe the end of the world. Some religions however believe that the rapture, judegment day or whatever it is they believe is coming, and so they create can be potentially very dangerous. They could inspire Mass hysteria which is counter productive to what should be happening, Mass consciousness.

And that is where the small print lays.

It is how we react to a situation that in fact makes it what it is. IF we are scared, if we come from a low vibration, then we are creating a bad situation to happen. Think of the Y2K. That also had the potential to screw us all up. But it didn't.

If however we approach this change with a high vibration, no expectations, but love for your fellow man and awakening to that inner light within us all, we all experience what is said to be a mass consciousness, which will take us to a different point of view. The old and disfunctional will slowly drop away and peace will be on this planet again.

Mother Earth has already begun cleansing herself. We can all do our part. Think positive, embrace the change. Be love.

I remember so many years ago when I had an interesting dream.

I was standing in London and a large stadium was in my sights in the not-too-far distance. I knew it was an Olympic stadium and thus I knew I was standing in 2012.

At the time, I never knew about the 2012 theories and I don't actually think those theories were as exposed to everybody as they are now.

A very large wave lifted above and over the stadium before crashing down.

Having great interest in dreams and potential meanings, I looked things up and it was at that point that I accidentally found out about the 2012 theories. As far as I recall, it wasn't too long after that the largest amount of its exposure then hit the world.

However, after the wave crashed down, it didn't wipe everything away. Shallow waters that couldn't even pass your ankles had filled the streets. The streets were very empty of people at this point, but there were others around amongst myself, walking through the waters. People were silent but they were ok.

I started to think, should there be any meaning, maybe it just represented the wave of people flooding through London in 2012 because of the Olympic Games.

Anyway, as far as the world ending goes, I don't think it will end, but I do think something is going to happen, even if it isn't noticeable. More things are beginning to become exposed in the world and things are changing all around us. I wouldn't be surprised if 2012 could mark a renewal of some kind. Time will tell, though, eh?

Astrologers told me that we are currently in a similar disruptive star constallation as we experienced in 1942 - 1945. Though there is a lot of turmoil on a personal level, I am happy that thus far we have avoided major wars. It almost seems that this time around the destruction is more on a financial level. On the postive side, there is also certainly a lot of conscious awareness that wants to be released. One hears the hindu Geeta in the background: whenever societies and culture tumble, I (Lord Krishna) will be born again. I like the previous wave dream a lot - let it happen, and get your surf board out to rise to unimaginable spiritual heights.

This is so interesting Midwinter Mist. On an intuitive level the wave represents to me consciousness! The fact that the wave crashed over everything shows that it was a wave of 'Mass Conscousness'. I think the fact that the water stays at ankle level could also mean that the consciousness remains once it has come.

Seriously, now, the whole "the world will end in 2012" theories are just because of a guy who took the Mayan beliefs and twisted them into a doomsday theory. There have been many people throughout history who insisted to know when the world will end, but no one was right in any way up to now. You'd think that people would have dropped it by now and concentrate on fighting dangerous asteroids and global warming.

I think what is meant by 'the end of the world' is just the end of some phase in the development of the world. Yes, in this sense there will be 'the end of the world' in 2012. A new stage will begin. But no Apocalypse at all.

I am actually convinced that the changes will be beneficial and mostly related to the evolution of consciousness. I am yet convinced that in 2012 there will be a massive change of unprecedented magnitude (be it beneficial or destructive), but I am very open and interested in the subject. I recently listened to a show with Gregg Brade, one of the scientists who studies the phenomenon, and he said some pertinent things. Why do I believe there will be massive positive change? Many of the people I know in the healing field believe so. Also, I've been very impressed with Eric Pearl's work with the Reconnection, and he also claims that these new frequencies of healing have never been around on the planet before, and their occurrence now is related to our approaching 2012. But I'm still skeptical so I keep searching for quality documentaries and pertinent information.

I'm sure most of the intuitive healers, teachers and mediums on Hay House Radio, like Deborah King or Sonia Choquette, will talk about this at length if it is something worth talking about.

I honestly do not think anything is going to be very much different in 2012 than it is in 2011.

I saw a special on the history channel which was very interesting to me. They took apart, piece by piece Nostradamus' quatrains and possible meanings. The exact date of his predictions of disaster is for 12/21/2012. Apparently he calculated by looking at the stars, starting from the astrological signs to now and found that 12/21/12 will be when the earth has done a complete rotation and will again face the last sign of Sagittarius in which we again be able to see the center of our own galaxy. The moderator stated it could be that we will reach a higher plain of thinking, electrical or gamma particles can now reach us breaking down earths shields, natural disasters could happen that will wipe out people fish and livestock, causing famine or a meteor will hit causing extreme heat and cold. Of course they are all theories but as you can see it did get me thinking.

I read just today that the Mayan calendar everyone is referring to is just like our calendar except it was for many years. Just like this past December when our calendar for2010 ended it didn't mean 2011 was not coming. According to what I read at NASA.gov, there is another Mayan calendar after that one, but of course no one says that because that doesn't sell commercial air time

According to the guest, the most interesting thing about 2012 is that we won't be actually in 2012, because our calendar is off compared to the Mayan one. Apparently, mistakes were made in keeping up with our calendar, and it could be off by up to 32 years

Nothing will happen. It will probably be very anticlimatic and disappointing for everyone who was expecting (even hoping in some cases) for an end though.
