You know the feeling of falling(from the bed, stairs etc) that you get just before you fall asleep? I get that a lot and as far as I remembered I read in a lot of places that it could mean that my astral body is getting out. And whenever I have these sensations I don't project by I get strange vivid dreams(Maybe an involuntary projection). It had been happening a lot to me lately so I checked it out online. And some dude explains that its a 'condition' called the hypnic jerk, which happens just before you fall asleep, apparently some people even experience hallucinations during this time. And it happens to about 70 percent of the people so its no big deal. Anyway, I just wanted to know if any of you experienced these sensations and were able to project after? Sometimes, the fact that all these scientists who come up with an explanation for EVERY paranormal phenomena just bums me out. |

recently, regarding to this issue, I listened to an expert psychologist. People who fell out of bed many times in their infancy, chilhood ages live frequently this hypnic jerk. I don't know If this is regarding to paranormal or not. |

No they don't...and they won't, because it's in another dimension. I can't wait for the day when science is willing to really cross the Dimension Divide. I know they will discover so much about the way the Universe works when they do. |

Happens to me but usually only when I have either a hang over, or lack of sleep from drinking a fair bit the night before. Dunno why but there really the only times so I always assumed for me it was to do with sleep deprivation and dehydration |

Hi lookcloser, if you want unconventional viewpoints, np It's not that easy, i try to simplify, but I might be wrong, it is just the status quo of my "examinations". I think there are not only different dimensions during astral projection (collective), i think there are at least 2 dimensions in the own subconscious projection (dream). Because it is very similar just another grade of self projection of the subconscious. There is a state in dreams and in "unclean" ap where you project your own fears. this can be very personal stuff, you experience as normal nightmare or old hag syndrom (ap/sleep paralysis). The falling down is a sensation in dropping into a lower dimension, which you can experience in ap sometimes too. Or it is just a very general common human fear of falling down in general - being projected. It can be both things. I've no nightmares since I'm a child, because i wanted to get in control of dreams since then. If I'm at a darker terrain in my dream, it happens rarely like i would drop through a whole and fall into something lower. Last times i was there it was completely dark and there where sounds like moving very big rocks on a floor. I decided to wake up. ~sb Last edited by Summerbreeze; 12-25-2010 at 03:59 PM. |

| Scientology is a living, breathing joke. Except sometimes, it's less funny than other times (e.g. when people die). A popular exposé on Scientology is called "Scientology: the unfunny truth". There's a lot of money behind it and a lot of hidden violence. It's a very efficiently managed cult. Last edited by Andrew Gubb; 12-28-2010 at 02:14 PM. |
