Default Contact Loved Ones After Your Dead

Well we all know that when we die we go to the etheral plane then to the astral plane. What I'm wondering is, if someone is very attached to you can you visit them at will? Say a family member or a close friend? If you have a song that loved one has never heard can you send it to them in their dreams? Can you ask to show them something in the dream and take them somewhere? I'm pretty curious cuz I know sometimes my mom shows me things and gives me hints. But if I were dead and gone I'd know I'd want to contact my relatives as much as possible. Would they beable to feel your energy in the room if you gave strong signals of love and compassion?

Say I died and I wanted to contact my dad. We you can't control someones dreams because of free will. If I wanted my dad to know that I was safe and not in any danger I would come to him in a dream, ask him to come see something and then play a song that has perfect synchrocity with the way I'm feeling. I would want to show him how much I care about him etc. Do you view your own funeral when you die? Do you watch your body getting buried etc. Can you send them music in their dreams that they have never heard before? Kinda like a message.

I honestly don't know how much of this is going to get answered but I'm pretty sure my options are unlimited.

When you die, and remember more of what you are, maybe your ties to the life you live right now are not as strong anymore.

When you die, and remember more of what you are, you can do many things, and you will probably also have much better judgement on when and what to do, and whether to do anything at all.

When you die, and remember more of what you are, you will still be you, and those you live and who love you will remain connected to you if that is what you choose.

I liken dying to waking up from a dream. In this case, we dream our human existence. Our "bigger selves" have perfect memory, though, so we choose what to take along with us and remember, and what to throw away.

I was thinking lately about what you were saying Mynds,

so in conclusion would you say, that we have this energy body, similar to the astral body, and regain after leaving earth the knowledge of all other incarnations? I read in a book of Monroe, that there are rules here, which include for example to forget mostly every thing we know.

Do you remember who or what you were before? Why not? What would your life have been like with the memories of all previous lives readily available?

If you decide there is something you want to experience, say, you want to learn more about being loved, and carried by those you love, would it really be easier if you remembered all the pains and sorrows and experiences from previous lives?

So yes, I think we intentionally forget about all that...temporarily (for the time we play this game/dream this dream).

When we wake up...we get to review everything, draw our conclusions, and incorporate that experience into our being. When I "die", I will no longer be who I am now. When I dream, the dream character isn't me, but I am the dream character. When I wake up, my dream persona is not gone. I still "am he", but he is not all that I am anymore, as opposed to what "he" thought while I was dreaming.

This had me reeling with trust issues for a long time. How could I know that "my higher self" would act in what I considered "the right way"? How could I ever fully trust myself (my higher self) to do things the way "human me" considered "okay"?

Eventually I realized that even while I may "just" be an elaborate "dream persona", I nonetheless resemble the bigger me, i.e. the essence stays the same. The conflict at the heart of my issue wasn't really there, and death lost its terror because even though "Eddy" may end, my essence will just "flow back home".

I am writing this from my late grandmother's house that we now have moved into. It has only been a few months, but there was very little real mourning involved on my part, but much gratitude. Everything just "felt right", like "this is how it is supposed to be". Even the fact that things developed in a way that allowed us to move in here is something I attribute - at least in part - to my grandmother's behind-the-scenes activity, whether before her death or after.

She's not here in this house anymore. It feels like "ours". She helped mend some family relationship issues, and now she's off doing...I don't know. She's around somewhere. And if we call out to the ones we love, they can usually hear us, no matter where/when/how/what they might be by then. They might decide that we will do fine without intervention and not answer, or they might even answer in some way that we might overlook. It might simply be a feeling, or a song, or a sudden memory that is intended to show us how they feel about whatever we were calling out to them.

To answer your question after this completely unasked-for detour: I do not see it is "regaining an energy body". I see it as "losing the illusion of a physical body", or waking from a dream. In a dream, my body "feels real". After waking up, though, where did this "real" body go? Where did the dream world go? Did it ever really physically exist, or was it a construct of my consciousness? How do I really know whether this "physical" existence is really any "more real" than that? And...does it really matter at all whether it is?

The lessons we learn here (we're "creatures" who just love to learn stuff)...are they physical...or is their essence completely transferable to consciousness? When we touch someone we love, is it the physical contact that we remember more, or the emotions involved, the awareness of proximity and connectedness? When we wake from a dream, which parts do we remember most strongly?

Hey Mynder,

it was more a constructive, "do i get this right Mr. Mynder"-question, not a criticizing question.

I see where your questions are pointing.
The thing with you grandmother is something i maybe know, it is a very subtle feeling, like a communication, or somehow just know to do the right thing.

I see how this rules make sense, though there are some "bugs", because you can access theoretically that data, but obviously it would be more data than experience. I remember a dream about a incarnation which was not here, i died young, you tend to get those with the most emotions.
You subconscious or the AR know a lot

I think earth in this physical dimension is a slightly permeable subsystem (in German i would say: "systembezogenes System").

I tend to assume, that we do not directly wake up, like from a dream(from what skeptics would think what a dream is ->something in your head).

We just travel to other places/dimensions with the same "body".
At some point i think we join our soul again and are in a macro perspective again.

But these are just mere assumptions.

I didn't feel criticized at all.

How do you imagine this "rejoining the soul"? I likened it to waking up to "more of oneself", a higher level of ones consciousness. Possibly there are a multitude of different "layers" of consciousness, bigger and bigger "higher selves" to "wake up to".

Rejoining implies a previous separation. I submit the thought that while we are not always aware of the connection, we are never really completely separate from our soul/higher self, and thus cannot actually "rejoin" it.

More like a tendril that was previously stretched out and now gets drawn back into the body.

so first off i don't claim to know anything, in the end every thing is more than a "mental model" that i made up by myself

i see this universe as a kind of playground for learning, growth and experiences in order to expand our "bigger self", it think there are many more universes, subtle connected, which we can choose to join from another perspective (maybe even as a individual), and that the "layer" of soul (the place where it is) is not directly here. But in a higher "layer" i would call a higher dimension which is "highly vibrating". I think at this point there vanishes the individual as we know it.
It is the collective of "our" incarnations and more than this, it is getting to know itself better, it is it selfs own movement, which we can't directly understand from a place like this.
You buy a 100 in 1 game bundle, and decide to play those games in a row. You take something with you trough those incarnations but that won't make your personality as you know it. We chose the circumstances, because the environment is the reference to what you will become or experience and not strictly the personality of our previous life.

With rejoining i don't mean separation, is just mean to melt together.

Shamanic people say we do have more chakras high above the crown chakra, which connect ourselves with the higher self. If you have had this connection you will invariably know that there is a version of you that is beyond all this. I remember having this two times, it is like remembering the intention of coming here, for me it was love, improvement and curiosity, what it is like to be a human, like a kid would watch an anthill and ask himself how it must be to be part of that community and this specific entity, you get feelings, pictures, "explanations" and so on, but it is not like a mental concept you just can somehow translate this emotions to words to make a pointer. Like there is no truth for us, just pointers, and emotions which are closer to the truth than any mental concept or conclusion.

I once got into a dream with the question, what is the nature of this universe:
I saw a volcano on an island in the ocean.
There was a lot of smoke, it formed buildings, like pyramids and those of other cultures, it should obviously represent entities like humans.
It went form this small perspective out zooming to bigger pictures, which where constellations of universes and other things i can't really make sense of, it look liked very abstract structures, then it went into a comic-looking-style, which i felt should represent that at this point i don't understand or can imagine any more in any manner. this went pretty long, there was pretty much, out zooming pretty fast. than i heard someone snipping with the fingers and i woke up from the dream. Quite exemplary
So i think we might wake up at some point but there is so incredible much.
Most of the things we experience at the higher levels while astral traveling are just the way we can imagine them, not as they are. So there is anything possible if we go to infinity.

And how should we know, ever explained a germ what imagination is, or how sugar tastes?
