Do you notice what an important role numbers play in our life? Numbers are divine vibrations of energy. Count the sum of numbers that constitute your day, month and year of birth, so that you finally had a prime number. - This is the vibration which predetermines a lot in your life because this is the frequency of energy you were born with. There are different systems which give slightly different meanings to numbers (for ex.,different planets can be associated with different numbers in different systems), but the global meaning of numbers is the same in different systems (in Western tradition). Some systems take into account not only primes, but compound numbers as well. You can find the outlines of these systems and the meaning wich they attach to numbers in any textbook on Numerology. (Or ask me, if you have questions). My aim in this thread is not to teach Numerology, but to learn more about other people's experiences concerning numbers. Let's take, for ex., 9 (it's my number). My Teacher in Astrology and Numerology said that this number has the highest frequency of vibration (in the system which takes for analysis only primes). The people who have 9 as their birthday number (the sum of day, month, year) tend to be looking for others with number 9 (they often have friends with this number) , - and for number 8 wich gives them relaxation and diminishes stress (those who are born with 9 tend to feel stress and tension, they are like a string, the frequency of vibration is very intense). Number 8 for them may be represented by people with 8 as their birthday number, or by favourite words (which often happen to be having 8 as a sum total of the constituent letters in their numeric equivalence - letters also correspond to numbers in the ABC, from 1 to 9). When I checked up this postulate, I realized that in the company of my friends there were many people with number 9 (the majority of them), that my favourite word has the numeric equivalence of 8 (it's 'chudesno' in Russian transcription, I am from Russia), and that people I feel most comfortable with often happen to be 8s (9s as well), or have the names which correspond to 8. There were also many people with number 1 in my life. (1 is self-dominant, confident, it's a unity in itself, and doesn't need a company). The system really works! (Though it's just about some preferences, or tendencies, nothing severely important, but still... The more we are tuned the better understanding about ourselves and the world we have, aren't we? I think, numbers and their vibrations can teach us to be more sensitive, to feel more about the Universe). I wonder, do you feel the same about numbers? Do numbers play important role in your life ( you like or dislike some numbers)? Do synchronicities concerning numbers often take place in your life? Can you say that numbers have their colors? |

I love numerology as well and am also a 9. Interesting thing about 9 is when you add any single number to it, it always equals itself. Like 3+9=12.. 1+2 = 3 or 6+9=15.. 1+5=6 That possibly means 9 is like a mirror. Also, I never know whether to use Pythagorean or Chaldean numerology for letters. I switch between both. btw you will probably like this website: Facade Numerology |

It's interesting about 9 as a mirrow. So, 9 is like some barrier between this world and a different world, and it actually can be like this because it is the last prime number. After 9 we have some gap because a different world is always separated by a gap, then we again have 1,2,3... - but in a different world. - Maybe it is not quite clear? I can explain it in the following way. We have 0 as a gap, then 01, which is 10, but in a different world - that's why it is written in this order: 10. Then 20, 30, etc. The numbers 11, 12, 13... - belong to the 01 world (10), a different dimension of it. 19 is again the last number of this world, then there is a gap - 0, and we have 20, or 02, - and it's different from the 20 of the previous gap,- but only in the meaning that it's some other 20, we can write it as 020, - and so on. Thus, we have a spiral (20, 020...), or many spirals, one inside the other, which can be also seen as spirals of different dimensions... - but ALL of them are united by this very interesting phenomenon - a GAP. It's 0. For me the way numbers are written cannot be explained just by the quantity of the lines they are made of. For ex., 2 is curved because it is 1 changed into another dimension, or another world - the first spiral curve, so it's two-dimensional, and a part of it does not 'stand', but 'lies'; 3 - points to one more dimension which can be viewed in our world, so it is curved in a more complicated way, not like on the flat surface of the paper we write on. And 4 has absolutely different configuration, - it's beyond our three-dimensional world. We can possibly trace what it looks like if we work with 4. Numbers also have their colours, and everybody has their own associations which depend on their specific frequency of vibration in the Universe. For me 1 is always black, and 0 - white. 5 is red, and 7 is green. 4 is yellow. 2 is light yellow. 3 is dark brown. 6 is dark blue. 8 is purple. 9 is light blue. The frequency of vibration of every individual is connected with so many different factors that it's impossible to analyse all of them using logical mind. The associations with colours may coincide if we take two most important numbers - 1 and 0. Others are usually different with different people, one person may have a combination of colours associated with one number, and associations may change during our life. I think it can be investigated in a meditation. As for numerology for letters I also use two systems (one includes numbers 1... 9, the other includes doubles like 11, 22, 33...) depending on the events, person's character, etc. Last edited by Irisha; 12-16-2010 at 07:32 AM.

There are many different systems which interpret these numbers differently. You can google it. The commonly accepted interpretation of 4 is the following (I'll be very brief): 4 means steadiness, reliability, practical mind, calmness. I always interpret 22 as a number which is under the patronage of planet Prozerpina (sorry about the spelling if it's not correct). Prozerpina is a trans-Plutonian planet, which is associated with medicine, chemistry, alchemy. When I said I can answer questions I meant these very breaf answers about the main meanings of numbers. I think the complete analysis can be found on the corresponding sites. As for my personal attitude to number 4 I have spoken about it a little in the previous reply. I know it's different from what you ask your question about. But the interpretation of personal numerology horoscopes is not my sphere of activity. I just would like to tell you about my own personal relations with numbers, and learn about your experiences and associations if somedody wants to share.

You have an interestingly intuitive way of looking at the numbers. I never before considered the actual shape of the numbers for instance, it's quite a new way of looking at things. In that respect I wonder how you view 6, since it's an upside-down 9? I also see what you mean about the 0 gap after 9. I've always thought of 10 as 1, but really it's more of a 0 when you think about it that way and 11 is the 1 after the gap in the 'new world'. 0 and 1 are at the root of everything, dark and light, yin and yang, male and female. You can create virtual worlds out of 0 and 1 binary, that's what your computer is doing now. 1 is nothing without 0 because for something(1) to exist it has to be laid on a background of nothing(0) so it can compare itself to nothing, and therefore be something. When 1 is split into 2 it can compare itself to itself but it is still always against the background of nothing(0). The 0 is always there no matter what number you put ontop of it. This is how I understand the different worlds you talk about. About 9 being like a mirror into a different world. It's interesting to note that Steve Pavlina (born April 14, 1971) is also a number 9 and he pioneered the topic of subjective reality where he sees everyone as himself. He believes the world is a dream and everyone is a reflection of his consciousness. Quote:

I think I understand what you mean by "vibrations". I used to like numerology and astrology as well. (I still do, I just don't take it as seriously as before-it practically divides all humanity in 9 groups, not everyone will fall straight into the script because of their other traits). I'm a 9 too, for example, which is sweet. But I also have characteristics of 1. When it comes to names, I've seen several numerology systems. Do you think there is some of them which works better? Also, I like number 33. Is there some numerology meaning behind it? Last edited by Nimue; 12-16-2010 at 03:20 PM. |

Nimue, I tend to use the Chaldean system for names more because it predates the Pythagorean system. I see them both working funnily enough but the Chaldean system seems to get more to the root.

Privet Irisha, I am a 9 too. I don't know much about Numerology but I am kind of attracted to some numbers like 13 ,49, 99...I also associate colours with names(words in general) and numbers. For a couple of months I am constanttly seeing double, triple or even four digits like 11:11 ,111, 444, 888 etc. I 've heard that people with 9 are here with a "special mission" we are here to help other people and that we are very intuitive. Can you tell me if a 9 like me gets along with someone who is a 4 or the connection with someone who is a 2 is a better one. Next year I'll be a 1 -new life cycle, new begginning? Do you start counting the new year this from your birthday ? Spossibo ! |

For me 6 is the upside-down 9 because of some reason. It is not a matter of simple coincidence that 6 and 9 are connected in this way. 6 is the so-called perfect number because it is represented by the equation 1+2+3=6. This is how the Universe is organized (different worlds inside one another in the spiral - see my post #4). We have 6, somehow in the middle between 4,5 on the one hand, and 7,8 on the other hand. Then comes 9. For me the position of 6 in the middle corresponds to the central position of the heart, or Anahata Chakra, or Tipheret (in Kabbala), or Tetragrammaton. The upside-down position of 9 makes this system closed into a 0 form. If you draw 6 over 9 (or 9 over 6) you'll have not only a 0, but 8 as well, which in the horizontal direction is a symbol of infinity, or Moebius Figure, or a symbol of yin-yan. (Or the Figure which you have as your Avatar, Lionman). 6 is a very complicated multidimensional world, which is after 5 (we cannot imagine even 5 as a world, it's too far from our consciousness), and 9 , which is after 8 (infinity), belongs to the sphere of a meta-infinity - what is it? - the vibration is the highest - so, it tends to be a no-vibration, a 0. An infinitessimal. But still not a 0. But a very big CURVE which embraces ALL other numbers vibrations. Last edited by Irisha; 12-17-2010 at 08:49 AM.

I've observed that the reduced "birthday" Number has a stronger day to day(what people are really like) manifestation than the add all the digits "life path" number. Lloyd Strayhorn talks about your birthday number vibing with someones first name using the Chaldean system.I really noticed his method play out in everyday face to face interaction...the name of a person in Chaldean numerology seems to have the power to draw to it persons who are born under certain days of the month. There is free software that calcs both Pythagorean and Chaldean systems to have fun with this method Free Numerology Calculator Software - 2Near the Edge It calculates anything-names, dates, etc |

No, I don't think numerology divides humanity into 9 groups. These 9 groups (or more in some other systems) are just symbolic interpretations of some archetypes a numerologist works with. The numerological horoscope can be as complicated as the astrological horoscope with its planets, aspects, houses, points, configurations, - to make the whole picture is rather difficult, you need to take into account various factors which sometimes contradict each other, and you are supposed not only to calculate and compare, but to use intuition, and to be able to make a synthesis, using all information you have at your disposal. I think all systems can be used, but it depends on your purpose what system to choose, and different systems may work in a special way with different people. Like in astrology : you can use Koh's System of Houses, or Placidus's depending on the type of question you have, - if it is a personal horoscope you usually use Placidus's, but sometimes Koh's is OK. As for Numerology I use numbers 1...9, and doubles. 33 is under the patronage of planet Chiron. It's associated with astrology, healing and humour. Chiron can also make things messed up. Double numbers are always very strong, and point to a person with higher abilities. If you like the number it means that some of its characteristics do play important role in your life, and you also have good relations with the corresponding planet, it is active in your conscious (or subconscious ) life. I haven't got how you are going to be a 1 next year? If you are a 9 you can add 2011+9+ ? I usually count the number of the year: 2011=4, - and decide about the number - how I feel about it. Your interpretation of 1 (as you have counted it), or 4, or any other number may be different from mine. Because it depends on your personal vibration which is like a 1.x... where x... is an infinitessimal with as many numerals after a dot as you can imagine. And this infinitessimal is the most important part which predetermines your personal attitude towards a chosen number, how your personal vibration and the vibration of the number are mutually related. Yes, we are both 9s, but 9s.xs. The same can be said regarding your question about the people represented by a 4, or by a 2. If I give you the answer it will be about MY attitude to 4 or 2. And I'd rather trust not numbers in this case, btw, but my feelings and intuition. Though sometimes (or even often, and with some people - very often) it works. 2 and 4 as even numbers have something in common. As for 'special mission' of people with 9, - yes, they should be the 'givers', if they are not, they stop receiving, and start having problems. I am also attracted to 13, it's my favourite. I have many coincidences, or synchronicities with 13. For ex., my birthday is on the 26th, and the day of my name is on the 13th - 13 days before. I always wanted to go to America, and it is here where the Indians think 13 is a lucky number, not a bad one. The Mayan Calendar operates such a cycle as 26,000 years. The big love of my life was a guy from Equador, Indio, who was born on the 26th (I met him when I studied at the University in Moscow), and when I came to the US 5 years ago I met a guy, again from Equador, Indio, who was born on the 26th, and in the same month and year as me! Weird? I also often see doubles, triples, especially here in the US (it's under the patronage of Gemini, btw). What colours do you associate with numbers, Coccinnelle? I think it happened to me. Have so many synchronicities with numbers, and with birthdates in particular! My daughter's father was born on the 4th of July. When we rented an appartment in Moscow we shared it with my friend whose boyfriend was also born on the 4th of July. The appartment had been rented by another friend before we started living there. Her birthday was on the 4th of July! Another friend of mine who I met when I came to my native city after Moscow happened to have her birthday on the 4th of July! And the coincidences I wrote about in my permalink #13? (I noticed only now that I wrote about number 13 in the permalink number 13! And it was my 103d post!!) Number 22 also plays an important role in my life. In the following way:it's the sum total of the numerical expression of my full name, patronymic name, and my family name. Prozerpina, the planet associated with 22, is connected with Chemistry (my both parents graduated from the Chemistry Department), the most important people in my life (they have never known my parents) are chemists, and I had some funny story with Chemistry (and with numbers). When I was having my final examinations at school (they were 8), the numbers of the examination cards which I had were 3, 5, 6, 4, 8 (two exams were in writing, without cards ). The last exam was in Chemistry. I noticed that the numbers of the cards which I had at the previous examinations lacked number 7. And I thought that #7 card was hardly the one (of 35 examination cards) which I would pick out at the exam. And I hadn't learned the topic of the #7 card( about protein). It was #7 card that I picked out. So, I had a succession of 3,4,5,6,7,8 - the numbers of ex.cards I picked out at my final exams. Isn't it wierd? My special numbers are 7,9,11,13,14,22,26,288. Yes, you can study Numerology at a college. Last edited by Irisha; 12-17-2010 at 11:29 AM. |

(You are SO right about 9 being the giving number! How I calculated my 1 for next year? 13.11(date and month of birth) +2011 Isn't that how you calculate it? And you are soooo right; as a 9, if I don't give ,I don't receive and I am not happy at all !!! Sometimes all I want is to give, mainly love, love, love to others. I am happy when I see people happy. I even can give money away like this ,just to help someone and to see her/his smile on the face. I work with people every day and can feel they enjoy being around me. The reason I asked you about the number 4 is because this is my husband's number and it seems he is not like me,I mean he wouldn't never be able to understand why I love everybody, why I am ready to do things for someone he things he doesn't deserve, why I am so interested in all that's paranormal and psychic..etc. I just can't explain. It all comes from my heart. And about seing colours I used to see them more when I was younger. Now is more like "light" or "dark" colours. I'll try to concentrate more and to see what I will see and will let you know. I also dream a lot. My dreams are very often premonition dreams. I saw myself once in a dream that I was the spiritual leader of a north american tribe. A psychic confirmed this later that that's the reason for me to be here,to be back to the palce where I used to leave in a previous life.... And yes ,since I am here in North America synchronicities happen very often. And I grow a lot in terms of spirituality.

I calculate the number of next year by adding 2011+9 (my number) =13=4. If your husband is a 4 he is a very practical person, and a 9 is under the guidance of Neptune - planet of dreams, intuition and vague ideas. It's good that you follow your destiny loving to be a giver - this is the way to avoid any negativity in your life. |

Hi, and Happy New Year! So, today is 01.02.2011 =7 Let's talk about number 7. For me it's yellowish-green, and its writing shows that it has some similarity with a 1. Why? Maybe because it also indicates some unity like a 1 (7 days of week, 7 colors of rainbow, 7 chakras, etc.). Just a different unity. Maybe in some other worlds with different dimensions they have a numeration system based not on 10, or 12, but on 7*2=14? For Mayas number 14 was a symbol of a bad luck (not 13). So, it means it was a special number which belongs to a different world. Next year January 1 is a 7, and it starts 2012 which is the beginning of some new epoch according to the Mayas. The writing of a 7 with its part that is different from 1 is like an arrow that points out to that different world, or a different dimension. It's hard to imagine what it is, we even don't know anything about the 4th dimension. The position of 7 before 8 (infinity) shows that it is something opposite to it (again some unity.) And 7 is under the patronage of Saturn - which symbolizes restriction. At the same time 7 is a lucky number (I think it's because of the unity meaning it has in itself). |

Today is 01.08.2011= 13, and tomorrow will be 14. Number 14 is a very bad number for me. I remember how I've felt that. I was maybe 11 or 12 y.o. On the 14th of August the moon was full and yellow. I went for a walk with my father. We enjoied watching the moon's reflection in the lake, and tryed to remember poems about the full moon. I don't know why but I told him that I was afraid of this date - the 14th , especially the 14th of August. Because I felt like this. He didn't take it serious, he never believed in these things. I always had bad days when it was the 14th. I was afraid of it so much that when my daughter was supposed to be born, and it was already close to the 14th of August, I was praying she was born sooner, not to wait for that date to come, I felt it could be very bad . I wanted her to be born on the 9th like my friend's son, but she was born an hour and a half after 12. It was the 10th - the birthday of one of my school friends, and of a russian psychic and mystic Elena Blavatskaya. Much later when I studied astrology and the so-called 'dynamic horoscope', I checked out both dates, and realized that I've made the worst mistake in my life! Her horoscope for the 14th of August could be awesome!.. Because of its harmony and strenth!.. I have never seen a horoscope like that with anybody! Why was I afraid of the date so much? I realized why last year. My father's death was on the 14th. The 14th always played a trick with me. The poem by Federico Garcia Lorca. La luna asoma. Quando sale la luna Se pierden las campanas, Y aparecen las sendas Impenetrables. Quando sale la luna El mar cubre la tierra, Y el corazon se siente Isla en el infinito. Nadie come narranjas Bajo la luna llena. Es preciso comer Fruta verde y helada. Quando sale la luna De cien rostros iguales La moneda de plata Sollosa en el bolcillo. Sorry, I don't have the translation of the poem into English. It speaks of the rising full moon. Last edited by Irisha; 01-08-2011 at 07:59 AM. |

I'm a 33. My husband and I (and my mum) share the same year number which for 2010 was number 9. It was a horrid year. 9 is about endings (things getting worse before they get better). I was half way through the year before I read this. I haven't read all other posts so if you had a 9 and had a great year, please let me know. This year we all have number 1 - new beginnings! |
