I am new to this forum and would like to say hello and give you a little background about me. I am a 21 year old female currently attending university. I was raised in a home where both parents were very open minded but never pushed anything on me. By age three I was deemed an indigo child. I mainly made contact in dreams. The first time this happened was right before turning three or so. I had woken up in the middle of the night to tell my mother I had a very Important message for her. I stated that a man in (what I described as) a brown dress had come to tell me goodbye and that he loved us, and he would be watching over me. My mother had assumed I had a very vivid dream and stayed with me while I fell back asleep. The very next morning my mother got a phone call stating that the monk whom I had been baptized by had passed away the night before. These kind of events were very common up until about age 16 where the last prophetic/significant dream had taken place, it was a dream I had of a shooting in my high school, and everyone was faceless, including the shooter, the next day virginia tech happened. since then I have only experienced night terrors and nothing that could be helpful to others. I have been looking for advice on how to tap back into that ability for some time know. I know its there, I just do not know how to get to it. thank you for taking the time to read this. cant wait to hear from you all.

From what I've read about Indigos, it is common for psychic abilities to be prominent in childhood, seemingly diminish in early adulthood and make a reappearance in the early thirties. This is of course a gross generalization. I wouldn't force it. Realize that your life is unfolding exactly the way it should.

VividDreams, Your subconscious and/or higher self may be protecting you from the trauma you could be remembering from prophetic dreaming. I have had a few disturbing ones recently I won't get into... suffice it to say I would be crying right now if I hadn't become slightly de-sensitized from violent video games. I am intuitively guided to just mention the following: -Start a dream journal and keep it by your bed, scribble anything and everything you dream about as soon as you wake... analyze later on (if want to at all) -ORMUS -Binaurals already mentioned... try guided dream hypnosis too -Skate Liver Oil... to de-calcify your pineal gland -Meditation... with or without your choice of 'enhancements' Try one or all things that resonate with you, if you truly want to start seeing the ethereal realms again. The night terrors should subside if treated herbally... I think Valerian and other 'calming' greens shoud help. As should some emotional-freedom-techniques... there might be some deep-seeded emotional issues that are trying to poke out their head, and they can only do so in sleep because they don't have a chance in your 'awake' time. Hope this begins to help.. Love and Light. |

| I never really had nightmare issues, so I don't really know... I was just filling the gap in your post. You said that it's natural to not be able to have precognitive dreams at this point, but also said "accept it" as if that was the only part of the problem. It was very interesting to say that it's common for psychic abilities to "sleep" in early adulthood, though. |

What I talked about was psychic abilities in general, but I didn't mean in the dream realm specifically. It's funny that I also didn't remember the OP mentioning dreams. I had to go back and re-read the post to be sure... | |

Hi Vividreams, I have precognitive dreams as well. That's what brought me to this forum. I also had the dream of the Virginia Tech shooting. I was visiting from NY and spent the night in Virginia the night before. I dreamed everything exactly. I even wrote it down. That's what I suggest is getting into the habit of journaling, the key or tool for every precog dreamer. Also talk things through with others on this site. It is helpful to talk to others outside of your head to make sense of things and to bond with others who have the same experiences.
