dreamt my brother had died and was in a coffin

This is the third time I dreamt that my brother had died but this time he's in a clear coffin. My mom and dad came to visit me and I had asked about him and she shows me a picture of him laying on this table. I asked her what's he doing and she goes "just playing around and being silly" I took a closer look at the picture and I see his face, his eyes were closed and his face was all puffy. He even had an under bite which was strange because he doesn't have one at all. I can also remember the color around his lips, they were blue. I looked at my dad and all he did was put his head down and my mom just looked at me. Then next thing I knew I was panicking in my dream and I was breathing so fast, then I yelled. When I was yelling I woke myself up to the yelling and I was actually yelling! (or screaming if you will)
I really don't like these feelings when I wake up. Does anyone know what this means??
I ended up texting my brother of how much I love him and to be safe and take care of his health.

I had a dream like that of my grandmother years back. Turns out she had some health issues, but she's still kicking and much healthier now, so I wouldn't be scared about an actual death, but that you're alerted to something maybe?

That kind of dream is awful. Years ago I dreamt my mom was dead and suffered for days after it. Then a friend told me that it could be that since I was maturing and breaking away from her psychiclly, the dream might have been a manifestation of this inner process of mine. My mum is still very much alive and around. Like yourself, I don´t miss the chance to show how much I love and appreciate her. That unpleasant dream helped me realize how much I do.

Well we just hung out yesterday and we have been upset at each other on silly little things. It's what siblings do and I'm always afraid of losing him

Confirmed...that's it. I dreamed a dream like this whenever I feel my brother is going away from me ie quarrel, busy life, etc.

Whenever I dream something similar it means the opposite - the sickness or whatever problem the "dead" person had ,is gone. So even the dream makes you feel awfull it could actually be a sign for something positive.
