How to contact spirit guides?

I was wondering, does anyone know an easy way to contact your spirit guides without a channeler? I need to find out information about my mom and put my mind to rest about my fear of death. I've been trying to contact them for a while to no avail.

I think i might be able to help you here friend!

Firstly, make some time for them and yourself to relax and calm your minds monkey chatter.

Set your intention that you want to communicate with them. Literally just say in your head or out loud " I wish to speak to those guides of mine who are here for my highest good...." something like that.

Sit and go to a place in your mind where you can invite them to speak to you. THis is normally done through meditation. Just ask to see them or feel them and ask your questions, really make sure they're your guide though, that is why the intention is important.

You could also simply sit in meditation and just ask a question and be open to recieve the answer. The answer may come as a thought, feeling, maybe words, songs or visions. Be open to whatever way it comes to you.

You could also ask for your guides to come in to your dreams again by setting the intention.

something that strengthens your connection with them is calling them in everyday for guidance, protection if you need it etc. They are MORE then happy to come to you. Afterall that's there job and their mission with you.

On the topic of death, i like to refer to it as the second birth. Really you're being birthed back into spirit. I suggest Reading Erin Pavlina's articles on Astral projection. She speaks alot about how she lost her fear of death when she knew she was much more then just a physical body. When we die, sometimes you have people come and collect you. I know when my Nana died, my great grandfather came to collect her. I know when i die, she will be there for me and so will my guides. Have comfort in knowing that you are always safe for you are a soul or great wisdom, power and love.
