Remote viewing game

This is almost like the "lost items" thread, but it's meant for practice, since you get a picture of the object, everyone hears what's going on during the search, and there is someone who knows the solution.

Everyone can make suggestions about how this should work, and if there should be any restrictions about the hiding place or the objects. Until any change is suggested:
(1)One hides an object after taking a pic of it, then posts the picture saying if it's in a house(balconies/windows included) or a wider area (watch in the photo so that the house won't be seen)
(2)People try to find the object via remote viewing, pendulum e.t.c.
(3)Every 24 hrs or so the one who posted the picture posts some opinions if needed, until someone finds it, or until 3 days pass
(4)The winner gets to be the next who posts a picture (except if he/she wants to pass the chance to someone else)

I don't know that remote viewing would be very good at finding things like that. Here is a quote from an email I received selling a dowsing program. As you can see it more describes a general area, unless there is something really unique in that area that would identify it, it would be difficult to pick out. I have read accounts of people finding lost items though, so I may be wrong. For example a living room might not be different enough from a bedroom to differentiate between the two.

"However, remote viewing is a descriptive methodology. That means a remote viewer can often accurately describe the setting of something that someone wants found, but can't actually give you a street address, or latitude and longitude figures, or any other standard alphanumerical-type data that we humans use to specify a location somewhere on the face of the globe. That makes psychically "finding" things much more difficult than many people realize.

For example: I am often asked "Why haven't any remote viewers found Usama bin-Laden?" I answer that they probably have. More than one viewer has no doubt well-described the location of the world's most notorious terrorist. Let's say he is in a cave in some mountains in Afghanistan. Working "blind" (remote viewing protocol requires that a viewer not be told what her target is - so she would have no idea that bin-Laden was to be the focus of her perceptions), the viewer might describe a robed and bearded man in a strange, long, narrow, room with rock walls, a carpet on the floor, in the middle of some mountains. Upon hearing the report, an excited intelligence analyst might exclaim "That's exactly right! Now ask the viewer where this person is." The viewer's annoyed response might be, "But I just told you where the person is: In a long, narrow, room with rock walls and a carpet on the floor in the middle of some mountains!" The remote viewer has indeed found the target, but has not located it. The most to be hoped for is that a viewer will describe a recognizable landmark. But in places with few (or too many) obvious landmarks, mere description doesn't usually work very well. "

I get a (green?) drapery, cloth, cover, bedcover? maybe even rug, kind of feeling when I look at this picture.
But the in-between-rooms clue doesn't match with the bedroomy-drape impression I'm getting....so maybe I'm cr** at this! ha ha.

t4488, that's a good point. And since "between the rooms" is too vague, i'll specify...it's in the corridor. I'll give the description of the hiding place after several hours, tomorrow at the latest.

Do you think that a description in words would look better than a photo? I'm not exactly a pro in remote viewing myself, I mostly use a pendulum. (and I'm not exactly a pro in that either )

bluestar: There is no drapery/cloth around the hiding place, though I was wearing a green shirt when I took the photo. And often wrap myself in a bedcover, because of the cold, I think I also was when I took the photo

Although it isn't in the kitchen or on a round table you guys may have seen some vague hints. There are things that could remind you of a main room around the hiding place.

Here is a site with practice remote viewing targets. Many, if not most, people use numbers instead of letters for the target reference numbers.

Generally, I write down the target reference number them immediately draw an ideogram ( a 1- 2 second scribble to focus on the target). Then I begin writing perceptions starting with touch (sharp, prickly, smooth, hard soft etc.) then sight (blue, red, patterned, transparent, speckled etc.), smell (fresh, chemical etc), taste (bitter , sweet, chemical etc.), sound (loud, quiet, tapping, grinding, voices etc.), dimensions (angular, curved, straight, moving, up, down, open etc.), aesthetic impact (cheerful, sad , reverent etc.).
Then I do an archetype sketch of the target (right angle for man-made structure, peak for a mountain or peaked roof, circle for either lifeform or round structure, arrow for movement, wavy lines for water etc.).
You then label all the archetypes and repeat the process on each element gradually getting deeper into the target. The whole focus is on getting more data. You strictly stay away from trying to figure out what the target is until after you are finished. If you start trying to figure out what it is you will corrupt the data and start to invent things.

I found I manage relatively good results by comparing pictures, e.g. "this looks a lot like the previous one I saw but with much darker sky". Kinda works.

Okay, time for the answer.
It's inside a box, on a simple, brown bookcase, with loads of books around. It's on a table-like surface at the middle of the bookcase. The paper box has the shape of a cube and has white surfaces, silver-looking surfaces and pink silvery surfaces.

Nice one, Anniebugs! You found it's inside a small space, in a box-like object, on the top of a surface, and that it is on a wooden piece of furniture. You only didn't get the drawers and doors right. Congrats

Royster, you got that it is hidden from light, that there are papers around and that it's on a table-like surface, though the overall image isn't right. Nice

Dezarae, you got the table-like surface and (at least) one book, too.

You guys who saw sink/fridge, maybe it was the silver/white of the box. Not quite at the size of a fridge, though. Good try

Where's Semola?

He has been removed from his usual place and is elsewhere, hidden inside the house. He came from a second-hand store. Saw him sitting on a shelf looking happy and pleased with himself and had to bring him home. Can you find him so he can go back with the rest of my teddy bears?

I usually focus on the first impression I get regarding shape, size and/or colours. That's my usual starting point and if any of that is right, then I can start finetuning. I try not to give any time for logic or rationalization to set in or take over as I make a prediction.

If anyone would like to start if off I will let you know how it
is going. I will try to do my best. It's the first time I do it from this end. I hope it's fun.

I usually combine the first image I get in mind with what I get after actually concentrating on the object. Or use a pendulum (I don't know if I'm any good at finding other peoples' things, though )

First picture that came in mind was the teddy under the bed, at a relatively dark place, near boxes or box-like objects and 1-2 pieces of cloth. I'm off to work now, so I'll work more on it later.

There's some sort of alcove in a hallway...you are able to see Semolar as you (Anniebugs) pass by each time. He's in close proximity to an overhead light.

Here comes the difficult part. This is really interesting. Royster and Nimue, both your first impressions are right. Though you have said different things you are both describing the location between you. Each of you have made one "mistake", but I cannot correct them without giving out too much information. That's how close you are. Nimue has been more specific on details.

What about colours? Does anything come up?
Anything about the size/general atmosphere of the room?

This is quite common in remote viewing.

Ok, time for Semola to go back to his place. The one described by Helesinine.

At present, he is still under a sofa in the middle of my living-room. The sofa has drapes down to the floor so the area beneath it is almost completely dark. Almost touching the sofa is a little set of shelves with two boxes on the lower shelf, the one that is closest to Semola's position. On the sofa there are two cushions. Almost right over the sofa, there is a overhead light. Less than a meter away a hallway that leads to an alcove begins.

Nimue: Your only "miss" (?) was bed instead of sofa.

Royster: By the way you expressed it, I get the impression you perceived Semola as being somewhere passed by quiet often. I think you grasped the atmosphere of the room. The living room is crossed continually as the rest of the house is built around it and it´s the place where all the action goes on. I couldn´t actually "see" him because he was under the sofa but his emplacement was in constant view and very much passed by.

I think you both did brilliantly and completed the picture between you. Nimue was more specific and gave more accurate small details so I guess is the closest.

When I try remote-viewing something I often see it in relation to some place I know, and I "saw" it under my own bed (with some changes), which was closer than the environment under/around my sofa. Interesting.

Isn't it fun? I thought of it because of the "read the energy of the person above you" thread. After being around there for some time I started getting flashes of optical messages, so I guess that simply trying to remote-view stuff for some time may just as well be a "working" way for all of us to achieve it. (I hope it will, I lose stuff all the time )

My first impression is that you've placed it on the top of a wooden hutch. I think I'll follow Anniebugs' que and give this one some deeper thought...although I have found that pondering too much tends to make the focus blurry. First impressions, I have found, are usually the purest.
