Manifesting Specific People

Okay all day long a fleeting thought will cross my mind about a specific person and within an hour I see the person. This happens several times a day with separate people. As you can imagine leaves me feeling very surreal and dream-like in my daily comings and goings. I feel like I am straddling two different dimensions.

Anyone else experiencing this phenomenon?

Well, I think we've all had the experience of thinking of someone then within the hour they call on the phone. It sounds like what you are doing is just like that, only more robustly. It also sounds like you're not really manifesting them, but having precognitive awareness that they are about to come into your physical space. I think its pretty cool, but it sounds like its bothering you a bit.

Skylight, interesting comments, thanks. I have never thought of myself as having pre-cognizance. It never resonated with me.

The reason I believe this is manifestation (or attraction) is because this all started with me intentionally manifesting events and the outcome of events earlier this year. Once that became a regular thing for me I noticed that it would happen spontaneously with people.

'Bothering' isn't the word I would use. I just feel an urge to discuss this and any ideas about it with people on this forum. After all I can't discuss it with people close to me in my every day life, as you can imagine.

I have had this experience, only I would see flashes or have random thoughts of people. It started to happen to me so often that I tried to take control, which is accepting it, and preparing to see the person I quickly visualize. Well 1 day a lady I see about 3 times a year randomly ran thru my mind and I expected to see her. Shortly after the thought she was driving next to me on the highway, she was the only car next to me within 2 miles. I was shocked lol..So my suggestion to you is to try the same, accept & prepare to come im contact with that person...*

Interesting bwheeler, what is the 'accept and prepare' just to minimize that feeling of shock?

I only dream of parts of places where I happen to go few months later. It's kind of fun, but practically speaking, 100%lame

I just realized that the reason pre-cognizance doesnt resonate with me is because it's based on linear time. Linear time doesnt resonate with me at all, what with all the time and number synchronicities such as 11:11. It's becoming more and more apparent that numbers and time are arbitrary, which is what 'Busting Loose...' is all about.

Everything happens at once, in the now, that's what resonates with me. Does anyone else relate?

I can imagine, in a way. Sometimes, very rarely, I "sense" things, as if information just teleports through space and time (and logic). But it sounds like you see it more clearly, and in an almost mathematical way. Interesting. I wonder if you feel that in a way you can change your actions, or as if it's all written...

Hi Reiki, yes I call it that as well. For the purposes of this discussion I was hoping to discuss how its related to spiritual ascension/awakening.

Of course- it happens all the time.
I even use this purposely. Like when I want a client or someone to contact me.
Often I use my intuition to find out what they want to hear- for instance they want to know that they will get a discount if they contact me.
Then I send them a telepathic message: "Get in touch, itll be worth it for you!"

But in general I know that if Im thinking of someone, there is a strong likelyhood Ill bump into them in a few days, or at least hear from them. Yes, even if the last time I heard from them was in the 90s

With people who chose to purposely ignore me its different, they "got" my message, but they do not chose to react to it.

I think it's worth exploring the possibility that precognition is a special kind of unconscious manifestation. I don't think you can draw a line between them.

I have experiences like this myself (though not always with people) and I personally can't tell whether they are precognitions or manifestations. I suspect that's because labeling them as one or the other is arbitrary and merely for our own convenience.

Im sure youve been in situations where you felt someone's energy desperately wanting you to call, but you just dont feel like calling them

Or the other way around. Someone is expected to call u- like after a date, but if they dont feel like it they wont, its not like they "forgot" about you

I assume you've heard the story about the blind sages and the elephant. One of the sages touches the elephant's trunk and says: "An elephant is like a large snake." One of the other sages touches the elephant's side and says: "Actually, it's more like a stone wall." One of the other sages touches the elephants leg and says: "You're both wrong. It's clearly more like a small tree."

Well, who's right? Where you draw the line between precognition and manifestation depends on your current schema for these kinds of events. People who do a lot of IM are likely to say it's plain manifestation. People who are into psychic experiences will call it precognition. Other people will take each experience and try to categorize it according to whatever criteria they feel to be important.

The same could be said for 'higher Self', 'lower self', btw. Where do you draw the line? Personally, I don't draw a line, but a lot of people find the distinction helpful. It allows them to give themselves good advice they would never accept from their 'lower self'.

This does happen to me, and quite a lot, and has happened for years now. If I find myself thinking of some person (doesn't have to be a friend -just an aquaintance or someone I see occasionally in the street) -and I go to town, you can bet I will see that person! Even if it's someone I haven't seen for some time.

This has a flip side too. Sometimes if there's anyone I don't particularly want to see, and the same thing happens, you can bet I'll meet them!
