Awake psychic powers using plants?

I was reading on Patanjali book that plants could awake our psychic powers (clairvoyance, telepathy, telekinesis, materialization, bilocation..). I read the same in franz bardon book (initation into hermetics) and in a Dion Fortune book (i don't remember the name now). I would like to know why happen this?. I read that the awaken is almost immediately and I was interested.

It's not the plants that awaken you, it's your own receptivity to plants, crystals etc. which allows communication to take place, and for information to be telegraphed to your mind.

If you are talking about Hallucinogens, then that is another story, and certain plants can assist in this, if you know which ones and do your research, and be smart about it. But really, it isn't necessary...you can develop these faculties without the use of hallucinogens.

An attitude of receptiveness and openness and a willingness to remain open-minded to these things (even if you are skeptical...which isn't bad btw) is most important.

You needn't look outside yourself for something to awaken you, as you have all you need to do this from within you. Just make the intention to want to develop these gifts and enjoy the ride. Listen for guidance. Stare at clouds...this nurtures your imagination and helps you to be receptive.

Yes, im talking about Hallucinogens. There's one called San Pedro, and im considering use it soon, but I want to know how this could awake the psychic abilities that I mentioned before.

If you are not experienced with psychotropics be cautious and tread lightly, anything that gives the ego a smackdown can be very unsettling.

Researching the plants you are interested in is the wisest thing to do before you decide to take a dose.

I did not see San Pedro here Psychedelics - Hip Forums but there are a bunch of other psychedelics there . I tried weed a long time ago and dont care for it. I dont know if they open your mind or just make you think funny . You can o.d. on all most any thing , so know what you are doing . desert rat

It needs to be said that you don't actually NEED these things to develop your abilities. If you start thinking that way it can be dangerous because you are relying on something outside of yourself.

I'm not saying that they can't be useful as tools, just that it isn't necessary. These kind of drugs can literally blow your mind wide open...and if you aren't prepared mentally for it, then it might be hard to close that door once you do...which could have far seeing consequences.

Also, remember that developing psychic powers is not the penultimate goal for anyone seeking enlightenment...if that is your ultimate goal here?

I'd be very sure of my motivations for wanting to develop psychic abilities. Are you wanting to because it sounds 'cool', or do you want to be of service to humanity by setting yourself up as a psychic? Do you just want to experience these things, or are you desperate to feel 'special'? These are some things you may want to ask yourself?

I don't need to feel special, i don't need to be "cool". I don't want to service to humanity. I want them because I need to help someone who I appreciate so much and because I neet to get to that person as soon as be possible.
